I don't think he's an actor.. If you know a little bit of trick on magic.. you can see clearly when he switched or hide. Then the camera angle helps and cut. Like they cut when he distract the customer while switching and point on his face. If he's an actor, that'll will be fine. But it is possible to do this on public most ideal store. Not open area.
1:36 switch of the half orange to the original orange, the cut a little bit and 1:39 you can see it is now an orange but on his Point of view it is still the half. While showing the orange, he then remove the bottom half of the orange off his hand and pretend that it is still there.
probably the best scene ever from this show. this goes from not giving a damn to slightly interested to confused to questioning everything he knows about life
This is the reason why I really enjoy this show, the magic itself and the way Michael brings out people's reactions is hilarious. "Dammed you and your orange"
here is the trick : - 1:36 he took a real orange using his right hand below the table - 1:39 distracts the person to look higher while he empties his left hand dropping the half fake orange - 1:42 makes it seem like he is putting the two pieces together while his left hand is empty
I've never seen someone so astonished by an orange tasting like an orange, feeling like an orange, and even smelling like an orange....that creativity of an orange being an ORANGE.... is unimaginable!!
@@g7k993 if Lu would have been there, he would have asked Michael to wait there. Then he would go to local OSHA. The local safety inspector would assume Lu is a smart ass. So then Lu would go to FDA. Then FBI. Finally he would appeal to Donald Trump to investigate that orange. Because Lu is very smart.
Yea he couldn't close it right there cause Mike wasn't ready. He offers the candy. Drops the fake orange and pretends to twist the real orange back together.
Literally not the point of the show at all. The tricks are basic but these people aren't expecting a trick and so he makes them feel like they are legit going crazy. I love it.
This is the most fun show ever. Mickie C. is excellent at combining magic and confusing small talk. I like all episodes including the one where the lady in the coffee shop knew all about "re-beaning" that was so funny.
Michael does know to spin his explanations. And he makes it sound so real when you know there's no way that it is true. What adds to the illusion is the store setting, so you automatically expect stuff to be real.
An orange is different in that it's closed, you know no one has touched it with their finger and such. One knows that another person's germs is not going to get transmitted to them from the orange.
1:36 switch of the half orange to the original orange, the cut a little bit and 1:39 you can see it is now an orange but on his Point of view it is still the half. While showing the orange, he then remove the bottom half of the orange off his hand and pretend that it is still there.
+Bababooey it doesn't have to be super-precise & exact. just enough to fool the one person in front of him who is not expecting any type of magic or illusion
He's just switching out a real orange with a fake hollow foam one via sleight of hand. At 1:32, as he dumps the candy out on the table and diverts the guy's attention to his left hand, his right hand, which is holding the top half of the fake orange, dips under the table. While the guy is still focused on his left hand and the candy, Mike switches the fake top half with a real orange under the table. Then, at 1:38, he attracts the guy's attention to his right hand and face, giving his left hand a second's worth of cover to ditch the bottom half of the fake orange under the table. At 1:41, his left hand is already empty, and he's just pretending to screw something to the bottom of the real orange. From there on out, for the rest of the video, they're just dealing with the real orange, no tricks involved.
+Just Your Shadow So cool. I love the distraction of the audience (with the pin, fake out with the candy, and then with the "smell that") I want to learn these tricks. It's awesome!
I love this guy!!! Been a fan for a long time. He is the most magical, most laughter-inspiring, and most mind-crippling illusionist that has ever graced our planet!

The only reason why Michael gets away with fooling people with magic is that no one expects a magician to be a cashier, desk clerk, associate, etc. It's not like they paid to see a magician perform an illusion, but all don't have a clue and are fooled.
That is a really clever trick, like to show a person something and then convince them that it is not what they thought it is (what it actually is) and then carefully fool them further by showing the properties of the real thing
If you start this video halfway, its about a man seeing an orange cut open for the first time in his life.
+Esequiel Macias A $65 orange no less!
+Esequiel Macias not really. a FAKE orange turning real is what he's seeing.
+Esequiel Macias I died. Quality comment. Thank you xD
+ScotSpeed Oh boy. That was an asperger-y comment.
+Ayy Lmaoo Ayy Lmao
His Explanations for everything is just priceless. So smart-assish and just flies rt over people's head
Every time he starts with his snake oil routine part of me thinks yeah, this sounds reasonable.
+Hoang Nguyen Lol yeah man he say's everything so serious even when it sounds like non-sense, it's great!
Hoang Nguyen ikr he always acts like revolutionary technology is no big deal.
exactly
It reminds me of my friend Annie
The funniest part about this show is how well this guy can lie. He cracks me up with that straight face while he's spinning that yarn.
Ramsees Jordan yes, I agree. He went to a great acting school in nyc.

8 years late but binging these now. My favorite part is when you can see the guests lose their sanity. Very noticeable here.

Naw, I’d rate this close to the bottom.
The alien spider -> kittens was hilarious.

Damn you and your orange! 😀
lol

@@TheCityLightz but u are alive 😂😂
Lol
They found the perfect guy to perform this trick on. He seems so kind and his reactions are so genuine
here is the trick :
- 1:36 he took a real orange using his right hand below the table
- 1:39 distracts the person to look higher while he empties his left hand dropping the half fake orange
- 1:42 makes it seem like he is putting the two pieces together while his left hand is empty
Wait.. no.. nobody self destructed though.
Yep, got it too! It's the first time I could see that easely how he did it. Mostly I'm like: OMG, How did he do that? That's just impossible.
Crazy
Thank you, tired if doing this myself because people complain that the show is fake
Wow. You are correct, sir! I had to replay that a couple times.
Damn you and your orange
Haha!! Lol
This guy was one his most honest targets.
"I guess I... ya? maybe?"
"You kinda see it?"
"...No!"
Other people would be like "Oh, ya. Of course. Mmm makes sense."
I've never seen someone so astonished by an orange tasting like an orange, feeling like an orange, and even smelling like an orange....that creativity of an orange being an ORANGE.... is unimaginable!!
this guy has the best reactions. like his brain is being reshaped.
Favorite line out of the entire video is... "Damn you and your orange." Haha, best lone ever!
Carbonaro mastered the art of bullshitting people lol.. I love how he creates random bullshits stories to mess with people's minds
ok ...damn you and your comment😂
Yeah, his schpiel has me in tears.
Oh wow is that what he does?
"What is this witchcraft?" 😂😂😂
Dude won't take candy from strangers, but he'll straight up put his mouth on an orange a stranger cut.
Obviously orange is natural
Dude was obviously joking when he said that 🤦🏻♂️
An orange he doesnt even 100% believe is a real orange.
His brain was mush at that point
Some people don't like candy lol he was probably just saying that as a joke instead of saying he doesn't like candy
This customer is one of my favorite human beings on the planet. I hope our paths cross one day. 🤩
I don't take candy from strangers only potentially poison fruit
Just Lu because Michael ate it also, it’s logical to assume it’s safe unlike the candy.
He didn't eat the orange either. And people think the marks are dumb.

Mike *quick thinking * “ u want some candy “
Yea he couldn't close it right there cause Mike wasn't ready. He offers the candy. Drops the fake orange and pretends to twist the real orange back together.
Christfollower Love Ik
1:39 he pulls the guys eye from the orange to his face. They drops the piece and has nothing in his hand he is attaching.
Anyone who's watched magicians with scrutiny will also notice how he holds his fingers, perfectly together to sim the lower half.
Vroktar2009 exactly
Magic is about the art of distraction.
That's right and @ 1:35 he lowers and pulls the right hand with the real orange
Literally not the point of the show at all. The tricks are basic but these people aren't expecting a trick and so he makes them feel like they are legit going crazy. I love it.
This is the best reaction I've ever seen.
check out for carbonaro's liquid glass video ! the dude his super friendly you should like it :)
This one was outstanding! I love the guy's reaction..

Barbara Edwards Very funny. Did u see 'suburban pimp' ? that was me... lol.
+Tom P Great reaction! - Very funny. Talented guy too...
@2:58 this guy is literally flynn from breaking bad
Omg yess
This is still my favorite. All of his comments are funny. And his mind is melting.
this is probably one of his only tricks i could explain
He got this ninja questioning life
I love it when people say “yeah”? Like they know but have no clue

That's what makes this one so good, it's so simple and yet hilarious
You're a liar. You aint see nuthin. Kapeesh?
1:35
i saw too !!
these videos are addictive
I've gotta learn this. If you can make someone buy an orange for $65 then you have succeeded in life
1:36 switch of the half orange to the original orange, the cut a little bit and 1:39 you can see it is now an orange but on his Point of view it is still the half. While showing the orange, he then remove the bottom half of the orange off his hand and pretend that it is still there.
Reaction after reaction...priceless.

Don't take candy from a stranger, eat an orange from same stranger, MIND BLOWN!
This magic trick made a man's mind shatter.
Greatest show of all time still to this day lol
i would never manage to make anyone look so baffled over an ordinary orange.
The orange has to be one of my favorite tricks
Lol you can actually see how he does it in this video really well, he is holding both the real orange and half of the fake one at around 1:37

“That looks pretty damn real” lmao
1:30 LOL How he ignores his question "Do you wanna taste some candy?" LMAO
This guy is an intelligent dude just going with the flow. Micheal is great but there are people that can identify madness.
Dude sounds like Walt Jr. at 2:57 lol
I watch this like 30 times. When he tastes the orange his mind is completely blown.
This guy was simply amazed because an orange tastes and looks like an orange...that was priceless ! XD

No candys from stragers, but oranges... priceless! :D
Under normal circumstance one knows that the inside of an orange has not been touched. And in this particular case, curiosity trumps everything.
If you play it at 2:42 without sound it just looks like a guy freaking out about an orange
haha i figured it out :) you have to watch his slide of hands. he distracts him a lot lol
