Well he’s a robot, of course he likes to rhyme and spitting some bars
ELBERR had its own intelect and knowledge that is the reasone why he talks like a priest or a prophet. His mind had so much information that he can do WHAT EVER HE WANTS. And his code had been corrupted some how?
Maybe a reference to the first part where he's given a mantra to repeat. And since the series so far is making strong connections with religious words, with Elber wanting to become an ascended being and now saying he's become divine, the way he speaks probably is some way of him believing himself to be superior to everyone in every way now.
@goldennut5550 there's also a simpler (in-universe) explanation in that he was trained to speak with rhymes, and since he's presumably at least analogous to real world "ai" (llm's and stuff) he follows the training he has, which means he'll continue speaking with rhymes (at least some of the time) unless he trains himself to always speak without them.

Like I don't see why he would not think he wouldn't be killed the moment he became expendable. He should have at least programmed a failsafe into the little robots that would have them turn against Elber if he did try to kill him, or trick him into having a virus injected. Something that would show surface level intelligence

Really what parallels is there? To my understanding of the book the monster wasn't evil and just wanted to be loved.
