space marines are anything but marines, marines have to have that naval culture and look behind them to be more authentic, being a badass trooper doesnt make you a marine.
You're allowed three special weapons, 1 heavy weapon, and 1 heavy flamer per veteran squad. So you could technically take ANOTHER flamer. Also, look up the rules for a forgeworld sentinel powerlifter. It's a sentinel with a powerfist.
This inspired me to finish off my warhammer 40k figures. I love how you’ve converted the imperial guardsmen especially and the detail you put in on the whole army. Keep it up
Love it, I would like to see a dedicated small unit with a tech priest with some engineers/bodyguards to give commands to the hell-hound robot narratively. Maybe a toned down practical tech priest kitted out for a long mission. Could also be your "hacker" squad to get into ship systems when boarding. Those mech conversions are beautiful. I would love to see an entire apocalypse army themed off of them.
One thing i love about the conversions is the details and dude you really flushed your army!!! I paused the video and it put a screenshot of the leman russ (only the lass cannons) and i was like wtf is this doing here, but when it revealed itself i was estatic, the whole concept is good. Keep up the good work!
Wow this is amazing! I been out of the hobby for so long (since early 5th ed) and just recently I've started looking at it again. I have always loved the Imperial Guard for the potential to do stuff just like this, but this is by far grander than anything I ever thought up.
I love how clean your paint feels on the eyeholes. Looks like cell shading from borderlands. Probably a fantastic presentation against a weathered army
Holy Sh!t this army looks sooooooooo! good! I love the paintjob a lot. The kind u play with Blacklining and shadows is amazing. And the conversions itself are not less amazing!
I love the coloring of the troops, they look absolutely amazing, I might use the color scheme for some of my own projects, I love all the characteristics of all the guards! Good army!
This is a brilliant idea, I love every design. Think back to Battlefleet Gothic, yeah even escort destroyers like the Cobra are well over a kilometre long, boarding torpedoes carry like whole platoons, not just single squads for naval armsmen or guard, as opposed to Marines. Fantastic inspiration
@Lord Admiral Spire I quite agree with that interpretation. It also occurs to that mid ship corridors, spinal freight transit lines or other concourse could be wide enough for the attacker to deploy armoured vehicles, like the walking russ or just an actual russ, to hit defenders hard defences like bunkers, turreted defenses and such. I had been wanting a board for a while of a Voss pattern light cruiser's mid ship corridor for stronghold assault or cityfight rules games.
Blown away by the paint job, a really cool army and the conversions are great and fit and make sense with how you describe the focus/mission of the force.
The gunner having the left shoulder bare looks quite strange. Especially given that's the side that gets pointed at the enemy most of the time... I know you wanted the bare muscles look, and due to the kit, the right arm doesn't permit that. So I would have left them both covered. Unless you used say a Catachan arm to convert the right arm, or similar.
I really like what you’ve done with your kitbashes & like the paint scheme of the imperial navy marines. Have you done a paint tutorial for these stargate marines?
This is so awesome! I love this style of IG, It would be cool to see you do a batrep with this army. Or even expand to see what you can add to make this army even more unique. Good job man
Dude your walkers are awesome: The furst one remember me the borderlands cargo bots and the second remembers me the war thunder (videogame with tanks planes etc) special april first walkers they were basically waliking kv 2 turret tanks with sponsons.. And its that, your army its fakin awesome!
As an additional specialized unit you might be interested in: Check out Deathwatch Killmarines (err, don't mind the somewhat overbearing name) and the lore on them. They are kind of similar in purpose to Green Berets but tend to operate individually against localized Xenos threats specifically. I mean when it comes to superhuman Astartes, you often only need one for all the less serious, low intensity stuff, so I suppose that makes some degree of sense. Edit: Also, the Solar Auxilia from 30K are void warfare specialists. Hence the void suits. Apologies if this knowledge is redundant.
very neat! love them. i've been fiddling with my own boarding party themed force (i've gone for imperialized GC models), and this gives me a huge boost to continue. sadly it also forces me to think more about walkers (.. or about more walkers?!). anyways, great work!
Have you considered buying parts from Anvil Industry, they've got some pretty cool models and parts that are just perfect for a custom imperial or chaos army.
Bolsters or lasguns? Lasguns might last longer behind enemy lines since you can recharge the batteries. While with bolsters your running on limited ammo.
Even if you have Space-Marines, you still need Marines in Space.
space marines are anything but marines, marines have to have that naval culture and look behind them to be more authentic, being a badass trooper doesnt make you a marine.
I find your cel-shaded scheme really unique, looks really striking
So those are the guys I send to die inside Tyranid ships in bfg armada 2, I almost feel sorry for sending them to certain death...
Almost
@Lord Admiral Spire maybe not thousands but the emperor welcomes all who fight for him
I'd love to see how you made that Walking Leman Russ. I love the idea of walker-conversions for tanks, and yours is one of the best I've seen.
Video coming soon
ThePrefect Thicc. Thanks my dude.
@@ThePrefect I might see my PS2 game Ring of Red inspired army being realised afterall. I will be keeping a eye out for that video.
This is sooooo cool!!
I never even thought of a boarding themed army!
And those conversions!!!
MYY OH MYYYY!!
The vehicle conversions and the overall theme are fantastic! Love the comic-y style, too.
You're allowed three special weapons, 1 heavy weapon, and 1 heavy flamer per veteran squad. So you could technically take ANOTHER flamer.
Also, look up the rules for a forgeworld sentinel powerlifter. It's a sentinel with a powerfist.
Fantastic suggestions
Thanks for the confirmation on the extra flamer!
This is awesome!!!! Seeing people do different and crazy things is my favorite part of the hobby.
Great imagination love the colour scheme...imperial navy seals?
Yeah... state of the art badasses. :)
Those walkers look like something the men of iron would have if ever they get an army.
That's an amazing themed army, awesome work!
Greatest respect for your work, the humble "Marine" shines bright in your army.
Very cool looking colour scheme, never seen imperial units painted this way around the stores and hobby centres near me. And it's a great concept.
It's nice to see someone really enjoying their hobby, good for you ! I'd love to see a battle report with this army.
This inspired me to finish off my warhammer 40k figures.
I love how you’ve converted the imperial guardsmen especially and the detail you put in on the whole army.
Keep it up

I've got a couple of Tech Priest Engineseers and a whack of servitors for that exact bit of narrative
Wow. One of the most creative armies and striking paint schemes i've seen. I love it! Great job!
Wow, thanks!
good paint jobs, great conversions. Awesome stuff!
Looks great! I use pig iron heads as well, for backpacks I use a variety of Anvil miniatures items
Ive never before been this excited to look at dudes
Very cool army man. Love the unique touch and bit of back story 👌🏻 🍻
Awesome conversion work.
I love seeing conversions and alt paint schemes. Great looking models.
The painitng is incredible but those Walker, just wow.
Love the paint scheme and the unique design you've made for your army!
Cool idea. I like how you managed to implement a tabletop ground army in space. Color schemes make sense and look good.
These are awesome! Inspiring me to make a new guard detachment!
That is sweet. I dig your story. Keep going. Thanks for sharing
A baneblade walker conversion would be amazing

Love the paint style. Kinda gives it that cartoony cell shaded looked with the black lines making the details really pop!

Man, fantastic looking force! Love the vehicle conversions, and the detail put into the troops!
I'd love to see a guide to these awesome models, they are a real blast, tbh. Very nice concept for a Kill Team, too! Keep up the good work!
Awesome job. The paint scheme makes me think of Borderlands.
such a well thought out and flawlessly executed conversion project!! I love it, kudos!!
Really like the black lining on the minis you don't see that much nowdays got an old school feel to it.
Lovely paint job.
Love to see a build video of any of the guys in this force!
I love how clean your paint feels on the eyeholes. Looks like cell shading from borderlands. Probably a fantastic presentation against a weathered army
Great work, I love the paintjobs with the black lines. Kind of cartoony :)
Holy Sh!t this army looks sooooooooo! good! I love the paintjob a lot. The kind u play with Blacklining and shadows is amazing. And the conversions itself are not less amazing!
You’re easily my favorite 40k modeler. Incredible.
I love the coloring of the troops, they look absolutely amazing, I might use the color scheme for some of my own projects, I love all the characteristics of all the guards! Good army!
These are amazingly well done, and have made me want to start up a guard army with converted walkers instead of tanks.
Love it, i wanted to do Navy for ages myself.
Bet you could say these guys are elsyians too and no one would question it.
Great theme. Really impressed.

Love the cell shaded paint jobs
Very unique, creative and impressive *applaud*
Very creative. Like that whole Exploration theme 🙂
You have an amazing army right there.
Never heard of this before but glad I clicked on the video
Love you colour theme, looks very nice! Got a bit a game/cartoon feeling because od the thicker black lines really unique!
Blown away by the paint job, a really cool army and the conversions are great and fit and make sense with how you describe the focus/mission of the force.
These are awesome! This does make sense, and fit the naval aesthetic, would love to see an Engineseer with these.
Absolutely amazing conversions! This is beyond what most would do! Keep up the good work
Amazing work I really like the walkers they look amazing you definitely need to do a video on those and what you did to make them
These are great dude
I think I was your 5000th subscription. Keep up to cool videos. (p.s. Ive torn off my old ruied cockpits and redoing them now thanks to you)
Thanks for subbing... yeah, the cockpits were an old model airplane trick. Changed my way of doing things when I figured it out!
Cool! It looks like cell-shading ... those heavy black lines gives it all a unique look. Love it! :D

Very cool, really awesome army!
Like the way you trimmed the lasgun barrels down.
Johnny 5 is ALIVE!
Great work and great video, I'm very impressed.
Great looking army
Just found this great work!

I'll be streaming on Twitch or RUclips this Thursday with these guys.
ThePrefect is your twitch name the same as RUclips name?

Awesome minis. Would love to see them in play.
Your army really reminds me of borderlands! Looks super cool!
brilliant work
Wow lovely cell shaded style

The new bullgrynns with shields would be sick
Nice conversions! great work.
very neat! love them.

They're not Space Marines, they're just marines in space - 😂
Army looks sweet; genuinely want a guard army now, great work
These guys would make a great Kill Team variant for the guard.
I use these guys for Kill Team!
I'd love to see how you painted them in this navy style! I maybe wanna use something like a navy style on my Tau army!
This is probably my favourite imperial guard army, really like those 4th edition ogryn, do you have a blog of them to see them close up?
Amazing! So much inspiration!
What was the part list for the mule robot? I love the look! Keep up the great work 🤙🏽
Walking robot thing cool. One smaller and a bigger. More how to and kits??
Great looking force
You had me at "SGC in Warhammer"
I mean ... have you seen the new Chaos warpgate?
@@ThePrefect You make an excellent point
Can you tell us what paint you used? And how did you use them?
This here is amazing
I have steen a lot of great army’s but this one is the BEST so far realy love the army jalous to, your Gatting a sub bud great job, so cool!!!
Subbed. This is so freaking awesome!
Have you considered buying parts from Anvil Industry, they've got some pretty cool models and parts that are just perfect for a custom imperial or chaos army.
They've got some cool tracked heavy weapons that I was thinking of fielding. Maybe if I ever expand the force.
Very nice starter. Hope to see a whole army of AM✌👍. Pity, vostroyans was "killed"😭
