Nevertheless, do you agree that if there was more of an element of surprise, that would increase motivation. e.g. the gamification instead of saying: "to Unlock 10% Off", would say something, like "to Discover Your Prize", and then display the prize at the end of the "game"
Now thinking, I fear that this gamification might simply promote the act of adding these products to their cart, and not products they might be actually interesting in buying, no? Then, customers would have to remove them from their cart and browse again? Seems like we're taking the visitors through a very zig-zag journey and not efficient. What do you think?

Possible but on a net basis I believe it will drive more sales.
