The video of the plane you showed in the intro is doing a half cuban 8, where you descend to the same altitude you began the loop, the immelman enters and exits at the same altitude. There's even a reverse half cuban 8, it's similar to a split S but starts and ends at the same altitude.

Not bad for your first time doing this after @ledrib talked you into doing this. Good job guys! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I've got a challenge for Rotor Riot: Who can get back and forth between two points 70 meters apart 10 times the fastest, no gates or flags? Because the Immelmann was invented to change direction as quickly as possible but I don't think it's the fastest way for quads and neither is a split-S. More something like a 1/4 backflip, full throttle and than realigning with yaw and pitch. I would love to see Vanover and Drew battling it out.
What is it called when you reverse the props to maintain your momentum instead of doing a half roll? That’s what I like to do that way you stay upside down

Find myself usually still drifting backwards as I complete the roll. Am I not giving myself enough punch as I go vertical before cutting the throttle as I go inverted?
Isn't that the same thing as doing an inverted split s? Maybe just renamed? I only ask because I do that maneuver in Liftoff a lot, and that's what the sim calls it.
Hey I bought a budget analog kit and I can't seen to find how to hook up camera and video because it came with an f7 tmotor hd fc. Is this just a mistake or am I missing something? Anyone know??
When I add opposite yaw to roll in the sims all is fine and I get nice centred rolls. When I try it with my tinyhawk it just goes crazy diagonal floppy flipping. Is it just the rates are way low?
You'll have a hard time if you're flying the regular tinyhawk or tinyhawk 2, but the freestyle s version should be fine. You'll get some propwash from the little ducts it has on the yaw axis.
