Islamabad is split into several 'sectors' according to its original master plan of the 1960s. Each sector has an area of 2km by 2km. Sectors are named as F-10, G-7, I-8 etc. From East to West the sector number increases, and from North to South the sector alphabet increases. Each sector has residential and commercial areas, and a few even have industrial areas. The commercial area includes several small markets within the sector, but its main constituent is one central market for each sector which is called the 'Markaz' of that sector. Almost every Markaz is popular for one reason or another.
The F-10 Markaz hosts outlets of leading brands for women's clothing. It is also popular for its outdoor eateries. There are a vast range of casual diners with outdoors seating, which is preferred by a large portion of the public. There is also a flower market from where one can get fresh flower bouquets and other similar products.

@@waqarhyder6360 I love Islamabad but it's highly doubtful it's the second most beautiful capital in the world. The world has moved on while Islamabad has gone backwards in some ways. Just look at the rundown state of this markaz.

So many memories from here. I used to come here many times in a month, but i can't because now i live in saudi arabia and i couldn't come back to pakistan for summer vacation due to the pandemic.

Absolutely fantastic video, thanks for sharing. I've always thought that ISLAMABAD was a clean posh city but l'm disappointed to see that it's so dirty and footpaths are in very bad condition, car parking is alover the place & its not as organised as expected, may be I should have known with the country being ruled by likes of ZARDARI, SHARIFS LOOTMAR GANGS, for so many years.

CDA maintenance of Islamabad is slipping ! Islamabad's street roads have potholes, sidewalks are broken and commercial markets are littered. Not to mention lack of proper car parking. Sadly it has started to look like Rawalpindi. Disappointing !!

English is quite widely spoken in the big cities. In fact, its the co-official language of Pakistan beside Urdu.
