Thanks for the awesome guide, the build and tips you shared were immensely helpful! Only thing I did differently was the tutorial Varg fight. The Soulsborne/ Sekiro vet in me just HAD to parry him to death instead of doing your safer strat. Died about 10 times but it was worth it 😅
Haha same here. After the 5th or 6th try his attacks were very easy to parry. Almost got him flawless but had to use a potion when he had a sliver of health left. Excellent guide as always from the absolute legend that is Optinoob. 🤙

Sorry mate, my intention wasnt too ;)! I actually platinumed the game back to back on another account in that 9 hours xD.
I considered memorising everything and then going all in, but just didnt have the patience to do this one another 3 or so times just to get a good time on the leaderboard. So decided to just memorise an area at a time, then switch to my recording account, record the area, then switch back and so on.
Thats a very good time though considering the game had only just released and info was scarce

I am stuck with the " YOU SHALL NOT PASS!!!" achievement for the plat, it;s been days. and when I hear ppl get it in 8 and like this video 3Hrs !!!! - I just want retire from trophy hunting,

Here’s my strategy. It’s similar to his but I’ll go into detail. You only attack when he throws his jumping overhead attacks. There’s three variations, but you only want to capitalise on two of them. There’s the high jump which is the easiest to distinguish and then there’s a lower jump where he’ll still ultimately end up in the same position as the high jump, then there’s the overhead attack where he doesn’t jump and can chain it in a combo. For the last one ignore it and keep running around him at a decent distance. Dont be too far or he’ll sprint at you and increase the chance of you getting hit, and obviously don’t be too close or he’s less likely to throw the overheads. When he throws the two overhead variations that you want to capitalise on, hit him twice and instantly hit him with a claw attack, so two sword, 1 claw. Then dodge and sprint straight away. I hope this helps and makes sense. I did it in around 3-4 tries after doing this method. And most of all BE PATIENT and dont take risks! Good luck

I've watched this video for the last 3 days...i was watching as i played so i messed up using the alchemy drops everywhere EXCEPT the long lasting potions infinite memory shards so had to run all over finding elite enemies..but i finally got them and am currently farming shards...great video (first 45 minutes,)..thanks..

This Game is definately my favorite souls-like behind Demons Souls just due to gameplay and atmosphere but damn this tutorial boss trophy to hell and back!!
You can use the dodge and stab instead of short dodge so that you can move faster

hey i been watching this video at work and it sounds really good so far can’t wait to go home and restart my build i accidentally upgraded the hold block if that makes sense and parrying deflects work better on bosses.
I had tried all skills, and the build used here is the easiest to cheese with and takes less practice.
I tried the block skill, seems cool at first, but you soon see where it fails

I'm 1 trophy away and it is the one for beating Varg in the tutorial.
1 word of advice, do this early as you'll get used to having all the abilities playing the game ans coming back to this feels really tough lol you could argue you might have a better grasp of the mechanics but thats not the case for me lol

Yea maybe will when comes to one of those mate. If semi starting Steelrising late last year, though only got the first few areas mapped out and then put the game down, but im ready to jump back whenever something inspires me to ;)

This game has 2 difficulty mode basicly, saber and parry, if you play with saber all the time to inflict damage game becomes considerably diffucult, but if you just stand still focus on enemy attacks and only parry to deal damage game kinda becomes easier, i got max achievements in 15 hours now gonna play steelrising

I plat'd all the soulsborne games but I find this one so miserable and not enjoyable to play. You helped me plat quite a few games now but this might be the one that I have to tap out.
I tried for an hour at 33:50 to get that enemy to drop Rosemary without any joy, and I had Luck Lvl 3 unlocked. How rare is it?!

I have everything in the collection and but there is still 2 more lore i havent got and i showed emerald and aisemy everything i have but still didnt get all lores , Lore numbers are 5 and 6 can you tell me their names ?

Your missing Transformation Equipment Report 02 (Lv1), it's near the end of Sea of Trees sub quest 2. You then need to show it to Aisemy and Emerald

Got a question though: did this game ever shut your ps5 completely off?
Any game can do that, just coincidence it was this. The PS5 is prone to overheating.
You will need to take of the sides and give it a good clean up of the dust inside. Try to do it monthly, you will see tutorials online on how to remove the sides.
Ive had my sides of for about a year now and its been fine. I got sick of the PS5 keep powering off like it has for you.
Its because my PS5 almost bricked from it and it traumatised me. Once when it crashed and shut off, I couldnt get back into it and was forced to do a FULL factory reset. I lost ALL my saves that were not backed up ;(
@@Optinooby cleaning a ps5 is not a problem. But it happend twice with this game in a short time. One other game that did this was Wo Long. All other games are fine.
It could be just a strange coincidence.
But I don't know if its overheating. I dont get a message that it needs to shut down. I've seen screenshots with a text that says something like: this ps5 is to hot and needs to be shut down.
And the temperature (measured with an infrared thermometer) doesnt get higher than 45 degrees Celsius.

It doesnt tell you, but it happened a lot with me, but once i cleaned it and took off sides, hasnt happened since!
@@Optinooby That was indeed the problem, cleaned it, even in places hard to reach and now the ps5 doesnt feel hot anymore.

I've got 94/94 and didn't get the Memory Weaver achievment 😟

I think what fixed the problem was beating Corvus again.
Even though I never saw it pop up. I saw the Collector achievment one pop just as I entered memory but not the Memory Weaver one.
I need to go back and finish off Lies of P through your video guides 😆 just that Battlefield 3, 4 and Hardline servers going down distracted me at the time.

Two bugged trophies ?
Memory seeker, Reach all endings. I have done this all on the same save got the other trophies for all endings but trophy for memory seeker hasn't popped I tried to do all the endings again twice no luck.
The great Collector. I have all collectibles everything and spoke to the two npcs but trophy still hasn't popped
Sorry about that mate, all you can do then as sounds as if you have already passed the requirements is to delete your game save and try again
@Optinoob yeah I'm not doing that I hate collectibles just have to leave it with one trophy needed
