Currently riding on the crest of a rainbow coloured wave, BLOND:ISH hits top gear with her recent club smash ‘Sete’ with Francis Mercier, Amadou & Mariam, as well as the endless energy infused into her recent DJ sets.
On ‘Aye Aye’, BLOND:ISH teams up with Cameron Jack, an exciting new talent and fresh producer who is teeing up further releases on ABRACADABRA.
The London born artist has developed his style whilst DJing and residing on the Balearic Isle of Ibiza, and on ‘Aye Aye’, the pair conjure up some serious magic with a little help from Nigerian vocalist and drummer Akindimeji “Akin” Onasanya whom provides the uplifting vocal delivery to BLOND:ISH & Cameron Jack’s deep and transcendental house production.
Cameron explains how the collaboration with BLOND:ISH came to fruition; “I had been sending Viv my music via Instagram messages last year, but rather
stupidly forgot to put my name on any of the tracks.
Viv loved them so much she put a message out to her social followers to find out who made the tracks, and someone sent me this message and I of course instantly got back in touch, I could not believe it!
So, we finally connected and collaborated on new music which she dropped in her recent Cercle set, and I was invited to play an ABRACADABRA label showcase in Tulum, which is where we met in person for the first time”.
