LB is a huge dps loss, as it doesn't proc rods, u wanna use wave only with tempest, if u don't have a tempest ready, but it's close to proc, you can do a few strom strikes into chain lightnings and then tempest before the buff from pwave expires

Is it best to hold primordial for when you have tempest? Or just send it in cd with lightning bolt. There's conflicting info online but you seem to send on cd here?
I don't see Zorthas using PW without tempest. The best scenario is to always use tempest. You can activate PW before you have the tempest stacks in the aoe and keep using CL so that when you complete the stacks, use the tempest which will come out with the PW active. Now in single, you will want to activate PW only when using tempest.
@robertdassaev5647 yeah that's what I have been doing and how I understand it. But there's been a few times where he uses it in this video followed by a lightning bolt. Happens in the first boss for example but probably 5/6 times throughout the dungon

How do you deal with pulling aggro? I legit: wolf, flame shock, lava lash, crash lightning and dont even get to pop asendance + doom winds before i rip aggro off tank...
@ I play with Augs my mage is 3000 io my Shaman is only 2700 but I still rip aggro so easily from doing almost nothing it.. Feels like it’s broken but maybe just a tank issue.
@@Mas-ij3ti it’s a tank issue….both player and class issues. Prot paladin has insane snap threat…so don’t expect other tanks to play the same….like playing with a dk/DH you might want to give them a few globals.
@@okkipooky8612 Idk i see a prot paladin with 4 million dps before i even touch the mobs. I put 1 flame shock and a lava lash and i pull aggro... It seems to be a bit better now, game felt buggy with threat that day or perhaps its just some tanks not tab targeting to spread the dmg and hold aggro idk.
You probably mean Feral Lunge. It used to be a talent before The War Within and nobody took it, so they moved it to core abilities. Check your spellbook, it's a very useful ability.

I’m only starting to push twelves now and my survivability is starting to become more of an issue. Would be amazing if you could share your thoughts on efficiency when it comes to positioning, managing the balance between aggro & damage (especially when running without aug) and your utility such as defensives, self-healing, group healing (ancestral guidance), curse & poison dispells and also stuns/interrupts/knock-ups etc. (if there is more depth to those than one might assume) :)) Thank you for your comprehensive content 🙏
Hi Zorthas, have a little problem with shaman on mythic +, with the reset i feel so squizy... normally open with flame sock + crash lightning + lava slash... and only use Chain lightning +9 maelstorm... and i dont why my dps its so low on pulls 😅
@@Sefirosu__ +6 target pulls and when you are one spender away from tempest which should be the case on every dg start you have to pre set it up then: flameshock a random mob > pwave your prio target (usually the biggest mob in the pack or the one that's gotta go down first/fast) > crash light > Lava lash to spread shocks > Stormstrike to cap your maelstrom > chain lightning > Wolves > Asc > Stormstrike (Wind Strike) > Doom Winds > WS or Tempest manually (if reached 10 msw stacks) > spam WS as long as it keeps glowing > cast tempests manually at 10 and so on. Search in wago enh section a weak aura that track last cast. You'll find. If not, i'll share you later when i'm back on pc

Tomato man, at the start you use chain lightning and your maelstorm stacks stay at 10. how do you do it?
Static accumulation talent on the tree gives a 20% chance to refund all maelstrom spent
@@zorthas so its a 20% chance, why then you dont open with tempest? what if you didnt refund stacks, you have to spam stormstrike then?

nah, never send it with LB.

Aug evoker is giving him a 30% threat reduction + yoda doing insane damage
