It is ok to want it, but i hope he wants it because he actually wants it for himself and not just because he feels behind compared to other people. Not everyone has to have a 10 year old by the time they're 30. I think they’re saying for him to get jacked because when you’re fatter, it’s easier to turn that fat into muscle versus when you’re skinnier. That’s just my thought on why they said that not too sure.
58:55 having a family is the goal not the distraction. Caleb has built something amazing and could retire TODAY and live more comfortably than 90+% of the world, if Caleb thinks it’s family time don’t wait, let him go find the person he wants to make a family with. Finding someone that will meet what he needs will be exponentially harder the longer he waits.
Not to mention for some a family gives people a reason to work harder or expand their goals. Caleb has a success business without a family maybe a family will create a desire for more!
Waiting five years to start looking is dumb. Relationship life is not a strategy akin to financial advice. Here's my advice after being married ten years. Look for somebody outside your type if your type hasn't been working. Date for however long you need to tell yourself whether or not you see yourself with this person long term.
Just remember that person is not asking for a tip. The business owner allows them to be tipped so he can pay them less than minimum wage, because capitalism.
I appreciate Caleb not being so greedy. You can have it all but really what’s the point? You have more than enough for a good, comfortable life, enough for your family and your life.
Absolutely go for the family, I’m a 29-year-old woman and I’ve said my entire life I never wanted kids, but hearing my 4 month old laugh is the only thing that matters in the world right now
"I put it in their hands, trust them, and they've been delivering". That's a really nice thing to hear actually. As somebody who is now in that same space at work, these things are huge for their enjoyment at work. That trust is a big deal. Good job, Caleb. I'm glad to hear you got a nice team.
I doubt my comment isn't the only one, but i love that all three of them are using stress balls throughout this conversation 😌 i love whenever these guys come together!
Jack, I say this with love. Every ICH I watch, you make a condescending comment to the effect of “don’t people realize if they weren’t so dumb and lazy that they wouldn’t be so poor and screwed up?” I just want you run the simulation of your life where you don’t befriend Graham and he puts you in a situation where you’re making 300k per year. I’m happy that you’re doing well, you seem like a nice guy. I just think you need to lay off the motivational mindset guru type jargon and understand that sometimes people face challenges that you haven’t had to overcome yet
@@jokka6388 totally. To be fair, the things he’s saying are correct about people making a bunch of excuses and not taking responsibility for their actions etc. I just don’t want to hear it from him

Caleb, dont listen to Graham's advice about family and romance. A spouse and kids brings incredible meaning and joy to life that impossible to find somewhere else. It may not be the best path for everyone, but it is the best path for most. Also, I have 3 kids with another on the way and they do not cost $30k/kid/year. That's insane.
Yup! What’s the money and business all for if you don’t have ppl to enjoy it with? Also I think men forget that sperm quality also goes down with age, it’s not just about the woman’s age
Advising Caleb to wait and marry a 27 year old when he’s 35 is the worst advice ever. Caleb should be looking for love now for who he genuinely finds along the way, not trying to artificially construct it with someone way younger when he’s 35. How ridiculous. Caleb, I totally feel you. As a 28 year old girl I feel the exact same way. I want a baby and a family too and I am trying to wait patiently for the right one. But I think grahams advice here is ridiculous. Be open to love now. Don’t wait till you’re 35 to be open
Men and women aren’t the same - the entire reason things are so broken is because the feminist culture has lied to women telling them they’re equal to men, they need careers, need to earn high income, and should be extremely promiscuous in their prime years (18-25) and wait until their late 20’s-30’s before settling on the high quality “boring” reliable man they should have gotten with when they just turned 18.
I have 5 kids. We make 200K a year. We are more than comfortable. No one is spoiled, but 300K would be more than enough for 3 kids unless you're in Cali or somewhere stupidly expensive
@ right! That’s ridiculous and so far from the truth. The highest cost for kids is usually daycare and my kids are 10 and up. So I don’t have to worry about that.
I went from -20k in net worth to +25k overnight, I’m 28. I got 43k in an injury settlement. I’m trying to change my spending habits and appreciate all three people on this episode.
Caleb im 34 and I have 3 kids. I love seeing this side of you who desires a family! You are 100% right what is the point if you don’t have someone to share it with. I also think being a “older” parent is hard. I had my first at 27 and last at 32. It’s insane how much more tired I am. And I want to be the one on playground climbing and running with them. Don’t let these guys talk you out of looking for the ONE. Good luck, having kids literally is the absolute best thing that has ever happened to me. And I was the 22 year old who said I’d never get married and have kids 😂
I completely agree! Waiting 5 years for achieving most life goals isn't entirely a long time, but when it comes to finding the one you wanna spend your life with + plan a family with, then time is of the essence! At Caleb's age he's already achieved financial freedom & set himself up for a cush retirement. So, right now is the perfect time to start looking for that special someone to go home to after a long day, to have your back & to grow old with, you got this Caleb!! Keep it up, you'll find her!! 🤗
I mean a lot of wannabe parents are literally waiting by choice or are literally force to wait until 35+ to have their 1-3 kids because of finances, which I personally think is smart. Being an "older" parent might be the only choice for a considerable amount of people.
I agree. I think he can look for a future wife and accomplish his goals. I’m 33 and have 4 kids. It is harder to get to where we want to be but we still have big goals where working to. And hopefully teaching our kids some important lessons along the way
Nothing wrong with having your first child from 33-40. Nothing wrong with being financially responsible and having your frontal lobe fully developed raising your first kid. Parents who have their first kids in the 30s have the statistically most successful outcomes
Have a family Caleb! It’s hard and changed alot of things but that’s being responsible and knowing that’s how it would be to become parents. My husband and I were together 8 years before getting married. (2013-2021) tried for a kid in 2023, and had twins at the end of 2023 naturally. It’s wild. Trying for a 3rd soon. I’m 33 now. Husband is 32
Very nice that Caleb wants a family! I'm a married woman, and it's wonderful! Don't listen to people who tell you to wait years and years. No reason to wait if you find the right one :)
Having a caring, Team Player in one's life is a huge asset. If you can find a GOOD MATCH.. Go for it... just make sure they share your values. It's all about values.
@faithrada agreed, ALL about values. I brought up every important topic I could think of when it came to values within 2 months of knowing each other. You have to figure out if you're on the same page about life-altering things, financial, children, political, spiritual, responsibilities, and overall family. Once you figure out that you're compatible, take some time to figure out if you like their personality, and then there's zero reason to wait.

Thank you for your video..... The current global economy remains challenging, with central banks maintaining higher interest rates to combat inflation, creating tighter lending conditions and slowing consumer and corporate spending. This environment is pressuring sectors like housing, retail, and stocks, while rising unemployment remains a concern. Diversified portfolios, including stocks and alternative assets like cryptocurrencies, are essential for managing risk and volatility, alongside balanced trading strategies. Personally, I’ve grown my portfolio from $130k to $632k in just a few months, thanks to Milton Harper’s exceptional expertise and traditional trading acumen, which have been invaluable in navigating this ever-evolving market...
Successful trading necessitates experience, a robust strategy, and thorough preparation. Understanding buy/sell ratios, recognizing market leaders, and implementing diversification are essential for risk mitigation.
A fantastic side job (mostly for girls) is babysitting! I babysat for 30-35 hours in addition to my full time office job a few years ago and demolished my student loans this way! If a standard job is 6-12 PM, most of those hours are literally watching Netflix and eating snacks or whatever. You can easily make at least $18 an hour in most areas. It’s super easy and very profitable.
Caleb, you shouldn't wait for the wake up call... I am sorry, but it's so childish to wait for a bad thing to happen to start making changes. If you want to have a wife and kids, they are going to need an active dad, who is able to play with them without running out of breath. And not only that. Looking fit and healthy with help you to find a long term partner. Of course, looking good is not the most important thing in relationship, but you let's be honest ... YOU would prefer to have a fit and good looking wife
As a therapist, the mental health olympics is too real. Anyone and everyone is coming to therapy for the littlest things, undiagnosable things, because people are just so less resilient than they use to be
Holy smokes, getting into the life goals section, Graham is massively out of touch. Caleb can probably retire right now without ever working another day in his life and Graham's telling him he should devote himself to the business that's probably going to die in 5 years anyways. Like, my dude. If you want to build a business empire, it's all you. But unless you're advancing humanity in some huge way, the sum total of your life's work will be that you had enough money to do what you wanted. Get a wife and kids, though, and you'll be setting up yourself for a more fulfilling life -- and, if you're lucky, one for your kids as well. And 30k per kid per year? Once they're all teenagers and eating like adults, their food will cost as much as your food. But don't send them to expensive schools and don't let them buy expensive clothes and ALL of your kids MIGHT cost an extra 10-15k per year. In the first 10 years of their life, though? Not even close.
@@TheIcedCoffeeHour my guy u can still give it 110% with kids. Something called sacrifice don't wait to have kids as you want to play with him. Don't be a grandpa before being. a father
I don’t want kids. If you want kids have them. Caleb has money if he wanted to have a child alone he could. Graham in my opinion is exaggerated in some aspects. This is one of them.
Money is not that hard to figure out. If you dont have it, dont spend it. Invest a small about from every pay check. I know we are not taught about money in school but we are taught basic math which is the main skill you need. Everything else is just an excuse for poor life choices. Calebs justified in yelling at people at how stupid they are. I love his audits. I discovered his channel within 3 months of its conception and was hooked. He definitely filled a gap in the market.
@mybdayis420 1) nice name 😂👌🏼 2) I really think someone's upbringing and view towards money highly impacts how they handle money. And people priorities.. personally even if I can afford a designer bag, I'm really not inclined towards it. I would rather save and invest in something else. I also agree to spend within your means.. some people end up spending most of their pay check towards something they could have easily lived without and are then left scraping by with the little they have left which obv shows a lack of discipline unfortunately.
He's just being realistic. Not everyone needs to have kids, and it is a big life changing thing you can't undo. Graham is just saying make sure the other person is actually the one and that it's something Caleb ACTUALLY wants and not just something he feels insecure about comparing to other people. Being a good parent is something you have to actually want to do, it can't just be something you do cause you have baby fever for a couple weeks.
@@VMYeahVNhes not being realistic he has no knowledge on what hes talking about but will still rag about it he has no kids but yet he knows it cost 30k to raise a kid.
1:13:59 i cant even watch your content anymore 😂😂😂 nothing but a money grab 3 ads already you are telling this man to try to monetize everything in his life. You are a joke anymore my dude
Caleb's whiny excuse of "i don't live in a walkable neighborhood" is such crap. He would not accept that level of excuse from someone on his show and should be shamed viciously for it.
if there is one thing that truly upsets me with any kind of financial show it is the pets. people act like they are owed a pet or 5. pets are expensive like stupid expensive and you make a promise to care for that pet. the level pet ownership has skyrocketed in the western world is utterly insane to me. most people shouldn't get pets since they can't afford them ether cashwise or timewise.
Pets don't always have to be expensive, it depends on the level of care. Depends on what the animal is for. Guard dogs, fish, hampsters, etc. A lot of times people are doing good and have a pet, all is great, a companion, regular vet visits, all of it is great. Then a life change or tragedy strikes. So their companion that they've loved for 3 5 10 years they should what ??? Just sperate from their best friend. ?? Nah, I think not. Just like with everything else. Just because you're poor does not mean you're not a human. All people have the option to experience these things too.
Ok, now that I’m watching this in its entirety - Graham was definitely part of the PUA community back in the day. He was telling Caleb to “ignore” the girl while he chatted up the guy. It makes the girl insecure and she’ll want to re-join the conversation. Then when she does, you point and say, “is she always like this?” 😂 Holy shit, just got those PUA flashbacks!
Ooooooohhhh did not love grahams answer to Caleb wanting a wife and family. Having a family is the most fulfilling role Caleb will ever have, even with the hundreds of people he’s helped with finances. Don’t be an old dad/old grandpa. Life will never be 100% perfect to have kids, but they will perfectly fit into your life.
You don’t have to pay for Spotify to use it. You just have to listen to commercials and whatever song the app chooses for you. Caleb is completely justified.
The only thing I didn’t like about this episode is when they talked about how much a kid cost. Yes if you want a child to cost that much sure. But I know a ton of people that don’t mean near that kind of money. They have amazing lives with five kids. I thinktelling people kids cost that much as a deterrent to encouraging them to have children.
I feel like the thing that makes him most mad is when a parent is waisting money on fast food when they have a kid because of his personal history of growing up poor. And that the kid sufferers from their actions and is an innocent victim
Recently went to the hospital for my gallbladder after eating way too many fatty foods. Only a $500 hospital bill thankfully, but that was my wake up call. Praying nothing ever happens to you, Caleb, but it can strike without even knowing it. It's not always a heart attack
Even as a person who has their finances together and has always been good at handling them, I feel like I've learned something important from Caleb's show. I think the most important thing we should all be doing to keep our finances under control is to keep a close eye on everything. Always look at your expenses. Make yourself think about them. Do the math, check the numbers. I started tracking my expenses in an app without an aggregator, because it forces me to look at my spending every time I have to update it. I have to think about every purchase I've made and what it cost me again as I add it to the budget, and I have even improved my own habits. I know this approach isn't for everyone because it does take some extra time, but it has even helped me! Even if you aren't willing to do anything else, look at the numbers!!!
💯 I’ve used a spreadsheet for years for this reason and I just log each transaction in its category, and if I don’t remember a purchase I go back to Amazon or look at my calendar for that day and find what it actually was and why I bought it.
I love the part of the conversation where you guys encouraged Caleb to be healthy. He really seems like a super sweet guy when he talked about wanting a wife and kids 😭I think making more healthy choices is going to bring wifey for him!
Caleb's relationship is his business. Until he deprioritizes that, he'll have a hard time dating. No woman will date someone that is "too busy for them." We want to be a priority.

I appreciate Caleb not being so greedy. You can have it all but really what’s the point? You have more than enough for a good, comfortable life, enough for your family and your life.
You're looking for a wife, Caleb. Do not listen to Graham about trying to turn your dating experience into content
Absolutely go for the family, I’m a 29-year-old woman and I’ve said my entire life I never wanted kids, but hearing my 4 month old laugh is the only thing that matters in the world right now
Having a family is totally worth it! Having kids is a huge incentive to do well in life and they are the greatest blessing and achievement in my life.

I say this with love.
Yeah, Jack really doesn't realize how lucky he got
@@jokka6388 totally. To be fair, the things he’s saying are correct about people making a bunch of excuses and not taking responsibility for their actions etc.

@@networthbuilder6475 cool story dude. Point me to any achievements he has outside of Grahams influence that gives him the authority to talk about people the way he does. You can cut down your expenses and/or work more at any income level.
Totally agree! I have 3 kids also and I don’t think they cost 30k a year all together!
Graham just meant don't rush into it with the wrong person.
Yeah, that's bonkers.
You must be rich then.

I have 3 kids in Cali! Make only 120k, Married and Live in the suburbs we do okay! Could be better! But we’re not starving.
Grant is living in a delusion that it cost 30k+ a year per kid
I had a 1 yr old grandbaby and 5 yr old daughter at 35. It's so much better now for me. Financially better 100%

Caleb, you shouldn't wait for the wake up call... I am sorry, but it's so childish to wait for a bad thing to happen to start making changes.
My reasoning is that a RUclips career is much like a professional athlete - you have a small window, so you may as well give it 110%!

Money is not that hard to figure out. If you dont have it, dont spend it. Invest a small about from every pay check. I know we are not taught about money in school but we are taught basic math which is the main skill you need. Everything else is just an excuse for poor life choices.
Caleb go ahead and pursue that married family life you’re craving so much…..you’re more than successful. Graham is just too scared of kids 😂😂😂😂😂😂
And imagine Caleb as a parent, having to purge the f-bombs from his vocabulary 😮😂😊

Caleb's whiny excuse of "i don't live in a walkable neighborhood" is such crap. He would not accept that level of excuse from someone on his show and should be shamed viciously for it.
Glade see show still going keep it up great videos
if there is one thing that truly upsets me with any kind of financial show it is the pets. people act like they are owed a pet or 5. pets are expensive like stupid expensive and you make a promise to care for that pet. the level pet ownership has skyrocketed in the western world is utterly insane to me. most people shouldn't get pets since they can't afford them ether cashwise or timewise.
Life is too hard without emotional support
Then when she does, you point and say, “is she always like this?” 😂
Holy shit, just got those PUA flashbacks!
I think we can have a Caleb episode bi-monthly
I bought a 2021 Sonata in cash for 22k and will never have a car payment or want to end up on Caleb's show. 😂😂😂
