Some thirty years ago I had the pleasure of visiting the cute town of Ashland, OR, while attending a bicycle design and building course offered by the United Bicycle Institute, well known in the bicycling trade world. The intensive rithm of learning left little time to see the wonderful surroundings of Ashland. This video makes me dream of visiting again this area, this time on a motorcycle, to the probable horror of the UBI staff. To my credit, in my eitieth year I still own and ride a fine Italian steel touring bicycle that I built there. Thanks for a pleasant video experience.
Enjoyed the video … nothing more enjoyable than motorcycling and hiking the PCT. CHEERS! Ps. Wonderful to see you bring the ultralight chair. I won’t leave home without it.

This was so cool, thank you! I learn so much from you so your videos are appreciated
Nice video!
Nice hike. Thanks for sharing. Somewhat alarmed at how little snow there was.
Just awesome.
Beautiful country similar to my home in the central coast range at Tidewater, Oregon.
Nice retirement :)
Hi what were the walkers doing around the campfire please? Praying?
Nice video. Makes me want to backpack again. 🙂. Maybe I missed it…. How did you carry the pack on your bike?
I just scouted out the trailhead on the bike a few days before the hike, then went in a van.
