As far as I know CDs are more expensive in Japan compared to other countries. That's why bands mostly put an extra track on the Japanese version of their albums
Music albums in Japan are very expensive. Most major labels/artists put bonus tracks exclusive to Japan on their albums to try and increase sales there.
ya because there are 33 million canadians spread out over a giant piece of land and 120 million japanese crammed into an island, thats why more of them buy cd's lol
we need a b sides and rarities album from them so badly. and I would do whatever it took to get Watoosh! re-released or re-recorded and put on spotify I'm pretty sure the b sides and rarities album will happen eventually but the Watoosh! re-recording would be outta this world amazing
Awesome album. Always something special about these artist, i must say awesome little slash thing going on in the solo great tune Half past Dead ! Billy Talent !
I've been following Billy Talent since they're self-titled and love everything they've ever done.. just amazed that this track didn't make it on the album.. this is my favorite track out of them all and it's a Bonus??
Don't agree with the people saying this would have been better than the other singles, or would have been one of the best songs from Afraid of Heights. This song still slaps though and I like how it sort of feels a bit more like early BT or PEZZ.
just the guitar tone reminds me of i mother earth, im not sayin BT is trying to sound like them at all, after all Pezz was around at the same time, thats just the awesome sound of 90's canadian hard rock
listen to the album scenery and fish by i mother earth, lots of similar sounds, nothing wrong with it at all, they are both amazing canadian rock bands
Nah, Horses and Chariots is one of the best songs on the CD in my opinion (it's definitely in my personal top 5). They should have deleted the redundant Afraid of Heights reprise instead and added this song. Even better: they could have made Afraid of Heights a record with 13 songs instead of 12.
You've git ti be kidding me. Did you really just say that his personal opinion is wrong? His PERSONAL OPINION dude, there's nothing wrong or right about it, even if you disagree. Besides, don't you think it's a bit hypocritical to say you don't like the record because it's different? Be honest with your self, you'd be just as (if not more) pissed if they would have made an album that sounded just like the 4 before. Which doesn't even make much sence in the first place since every album had quite a unique feel to it (compare BT I to Dead Silence for example and tell me they sound alike.) It's just always the same with people, can't satisfy them no matter what they do. Personally I love the new record, just as much as I love the others. It's unique, it's different but it's still definitely Billy Talent and even with all the changes in sound and style they really managed to keep the unique Billy-Talent-ness to it.
1) I would have loved another record that had the same sound as Billy Talent I or II. 2) I'm not saying all the records sound exactly the same. But, they have a certain feel that wasn't present in some of the songs on Afraid of Heights. That's not to say I don't like the record, I just think Horses and Chariots and Afraid of Heights reprise sound electronic which is unusual for Billy Talent and I hope they don't evolve into a soft pop band.
I'm getting your point. And actually I'd really appreciate some "harder" record as well, but still you've got to see that they are all getting older, Ben's voice doesn't seem to be able to do those high pitched screams he used to be able to perform. Still it's always nice to talk to people with different opinione, personally I like the new style just as much as the previous ones. And it's their right as artists do do what they like and what they think sounds good, whether you like it or not is up to you :)
This would be like the second-best song on the album behind Ghotship of Cannibal Rats. Crazy it's not on the record, but I get it. Doesn't really fit in sound-wise.

1. Why the fuck is this just on the japanese edition
2. Why the fuck haven't I heard anything about this
I think it could be irrelevant for other countries or banned there :/ I know about more songs that were banned becouse of stupid laws.

And even though CDs are more expensive in Japan, more people buy CDs in Japan compared to the North America.

Kinda wish this song was released as a single instead of Louder Than The DJ
we need a b sides and rarities album from them so badly. and I would do whatever it took to get Watoosh! re-released or re-recorded and put on spotify

Watoosh is sooo good. Had a shirt of it made for last time I went to see them, since real merch is hard to come by🙄
Its coming this month I think(Watoosh remastered)
Bonus tracks are always fucking awesome.. One of the best songs from Afraid of Heights!!
Funnily enough best track is a bonus one.
Why wasn't this song included on the record man? It's so good.
It's a bonus track

+Robin Dreier BUT only it was only released on an album in japan
Brandon Cummings1 word: money

This is pure gold!
Billy talent from Canada, but why would we get the bonus track... :(
Japanese certainly do get all the good shit.
Damn, the part from 0:56 with the instrumental fills is so good!
I've been following Billy Talent since they're self-titled and love everything they've ever done.. just amazed that this track didn't make it on the album.. this is my favorite track out of them all and it's a Bonus??

So catchy!
japanese bonus track?! That's freaking good, I want that on my album too!!!!!!
This track is great!
Don't agree with the people saying this would have been better than the other singles, or would have been one of the best songs from Afraid of Heights. This song still slaps though and I like how it sort of feels a bit more like early BT or PEZZ.
Bro's just mad cause this isn't on spotify
theres hints of I Mother Earth in this song, i fuckin love it!
John Last Im not hearing it. Could you point out an instance? I like to think BT tries pretty hard not to sound derivative.
just the guitar tone reminds me of i mother earth, im not sayin BT is trying to sound like them at all, after all Pezz was around at the same time, thats just the awesome sound of 90's canadian hard rock

Man, this song is hard to play on guitar!!
Fucking best song
Nice! Now one of my favorites in Afraid Of Heights!
also
Im the 420th Like

Why wasn't this included on the American version and Horses and Chariots be the bonus track on the Japanese album? This is a hell of a lot better.

Horses and chariots is lyric wise one of the best songs of the album, much better that louder than the DJ
omg! are there more "special songs" only available in a few countries????
yeah there is one for billy talent 3 I know for sure, just cant remember the name, its actually pretty sweet
Shrimply Pibbles you mean don’t need to pretend?
Or Bloody Nails + Broken Hearts
@@void_snw
Those songs I mentioned are only in Germany on the record

this is a lot less generic and boring as a lot of the other songs, should've been on the album :/
the album was amazing be quiet
+James Shore pretty boring compared to all the other albums they released
James Shore the album is quite generic and boring compared to all the previous albums, which are great.
+Arutzuki yep. 100%
Arutzuki i agree, dead silence was much better
what did Japan do to get this
Fr tho
why Japanese have some extra tracks always? are they so special?
+EverydayEvilGuy japanese people actually love metal
+EverydayEvilGuy an example that japanese ppl don't just listen to crappy music

WaaDoku【和ァ独】 ohh havent known that.. it explains all. thanks. why dont they try to make prices lower instead of putting more songs on albums
Marek Svoboda Not sure, I'm on that. Probably many factors that play into that, ressources, economy, wages, etc.
heyyy jo e
Should of a being a single
I'D RATHER HAVE THIS THAN HORSES AND CHARIOTS :(((
are you insane? Horses and Chariots is the best song on the record.
horses and chariots is a great song! it perfectly points out whats wrong with the world right now.
i would have rather had this than the AOH remix on the end of the album
schagerbaantje
disagree. I prefer the reprise to the original..they should've switched the names.
haha i guess that's what's great about billy talent. They attract all kinds of people with their music :D
Wtf
I would much rather see this on the album. Personally I can’t stand Time Bomb. This should replace that. Can’t wait for their next record!
