going to grab a set of atq subframe collars along with their endlinks before i throw my bc coilovers on my 13 3.8 in the spring time! this was very helpful
+Honda4RideRed haha that was going to be my next question! but glad to hear. at first when I heard about these (gen is my first car I'm modifying) I thought it wasn't worth it for what like an $80? it won't make much of a difference but everyone on the Genesis coupe owners page on fb swears by it so I can't wait to get them done after winter...I'm back on stock wheels, stock suspension, and winter tires for now!
+Jobe Mathew Yeh I didn't think the simple little collars would actually make a difference, so I'm glad they did. I have the stock Bridgstone tires on my car which are all seasons, so winter tires should be really awesome in the snow. My car does pretty good in the snow :)
Hey I like this video looking at rigid collar installs. I might get flamed for this post but please put the car on 4 jack stands when working, be safe. It won't happen to you till it happens to you.
I appreciate the concern. But I did use a jack stand right next to the floor jack. 3 of the 4 tires were on the ground each spot I lifted the car. Jack stand was they supporting the weight. Car wasn't much higher off the ground then normal so really no need to jack the whole thing up at once and have 4 stands under it. Car was supported in each side I was working on
No. They go where I showed. You could never get in between the subframe and chassis to even do that. But they make it so the bolt itself is nice and snug with no play
They actually made a difference. Going over bridges on the highway, without them, the car would seem to bounce over big bumps. But after the collars, it seems much more solid. And going around sharp turns it seems a bit more solid
How's it going guys. I been researching rigid collars for a 2016 Hyundai Veloster Turbo but only see that there are four in the kit for that make and model. Is that right? I saw you installed more than that on your Genesis. Can you guys give me some advice?
So nice having this as reference 14 years later on my rusty piece of 어묵. 금속이 안보이네요.
Dang that’s crazy!

Good video! I’ll be doing this install as well soon 👍
Very nice! I could definitely feel a difference with them, felt much tighter!
hi, great video. did you ever do an alignment after the install?
Thanks, and no it didn't affect the wheels so no alignment was needed.
I thought the spacers are suppose to go between the sub frame and chassis.

hey Bros FOURR Speed, im thinking on getting these rigid collars, do they make a nice difference or its a waste of money?

Would this pretty much be the same process for a 13?
+Danny Denihan Jr It should be the exact same for all years and trim levels.

If 4 is what the kit comes with. Then that's probably it.
