This film surprised me, it was extremely good. I usually don't like music/lyrics/singing involving movies so much, but this was great! :) Loved it ! ! A great sunday evening home movie!

Fact is, I like Keira's voice better than Adele's. Everyone has their own tastes, for sure. And it's hard to love your voice sometimes when you hear it recorded. It takes some self-love.

Her voice was pre recorded, and ran through computers to make it sound way better. She's an ok singer, but she is no where near as good as Adele. She's a fantastic actress though!

Voices are such a personal preference. I love Rush, but I know tons of people who hate Geddy Lee's voice. It's not like anyone thinks Adele is a bad singer or has a bad voice, it's just preference. I prefer Keira's voice as well, but that's me. I actually don't like Adam Levine's voice: it's just too smooth and high-pitched to where it sounds processed. He's obviously extremely talented--that falsetto is unreal--but I don't enjoy it.
That's like a basketball player saying they want to play like Lebron James. Not really going out on a limb there.

Uhmmm... Yeah, except that Adam Levine is a horrendous actor. The only thing about the movie that I did not like. He sounded like he was just remembering lines and wanting to just blurt them out quickly so he wouldn't have to remember them again.
+JustinHenryfan - Cut him some slack..I thought he was more than acceptable. A believable couple and really that was the point of the movie right? Great movie!For someone with no musical training she was fantastic.
I am far from being a fan of his ( I absolutely love his music but for some reasons I can't stand his face poor sir ) however I did find his playing rather convincing !

He also refused to be paid which 1. shows that he knows he's not good at it and 2. is extremely rare in Hollywood. I don't actually like Ada Levine but that impressed me.
He seemed to do okay. He gets the distant, distracted boyfriend role here, who realizes too late what he's lost. His look at the end says "I will regret this for the rest of my life."
