The special thing about this park is that you are among the monkeys, they literally sit on you. There is also now a baby monkey that is only a few days old.
The video starts in the amusement park section and moves on from there to the world gardens, animals and tropical rainforest.
The park is really beautiful and you can easily get lost in it for a whole day. Especially the world gardens and the subtropical forest are very beautiful.
Only the concept of "all included" was disappointing (coke, fries, etc. is just paying) and hope they change this back to just paying for everything but better quality.
World Gardens Mondo Verde or Mondo Verde for short is a 25-hectare theme, attraction and animal park located in the Strijthagerbeekdal in Park Gravenrode, Landgraaf. Mondo Verde mainly shows international gardens with the associated culture. You can also take a seat in a number of attractions and animals are kept here.

There are also a number of water features with waterfalls. In the tropics, hornbills and turacos and even bats can be seen. There are also reptiles, such as turtles and tortoises and amphibians.
The bird paradise is 6000m² in size, making it the second largest bird aviary in Europe. There are many trees and ponds in the bird hall.
In the Italian garden you can climb a large Tuscan hilltop where you have a view over a large part of the park and the surrounding area. A large water staircase can also be seen from this point. On this staircase are carved marble statues of the famous Trevi Fountain. There is a villa on top of the hilltop. Close to the villa is a luxurious Tuscan country estate with slender cypresses, fountains, olive trees and shady terraces. Just after the water stairs is the 3.5 meter high 'Fontana del Tritone'.
In the Japanese garden, one can admire teahouses inspired by Kyoto's Imperial Gardens. In the Japanese garden you will find, among other things, bonsai, hostas, azaleas, ornamental cherry and Japanese maples. In the garden there are also many watercourses, rock gardens, pond gardens with carp and there is a tranquil Zen garden.
In the Chinese garden you will find Wisteria, Bamboo, Tree Peony, Velvet Tree, Black Pine, etc.
In the Russian garden, visitors can take a wooden rope raft across the so-called Siberian taiga. On August 13, 2010, a fire broke out in the dacha, which destroyed the dacha. There has been a hut ever since.
The Foliesbos contains replicas of statues from Italian, French and German castle gardens from the 16th century, including a replica of L'Appennino, the Giant of the Appenines.
Here you will find the two most famous castle gardens in England: the gardens of Hidcote Manor in Gloucestershire and the gardens of Sissinghurst Castle in Kent. There is also an English cottage here. There are also the Formal Gardens here with lots of flora; climbing roses, overgrown pergolas, clematis, etc.
In the Moorish garden there are long and narrow water basins with large and small fountains, artfully pruned conifers, citrus trees and container plants. Close to here is the covered Alhambra with the Patio de los Leones in the middle, the famous lion patio including 148 marble columns and countless colorful tile mosaics.
The Moroccan garden. This garden has almost only blue-purple colors. As with the original, the blue garden of the French decorator, architect and painter Majorelle in Marrakech. The name of this eye-catching color is Majorelle blue.
The Portuguese Garden. The Palacio dos Marquises de Fronteira in Lisbon served as a model for this garden and gallery. Here you will find azulejos, with which the gallery is clad.
"The gate of Alcazar" which is modeled on the Alcazar in Seville. Through this gate one enters the Mediterranean part of the world gardens with mosaics, patio gardens, citrus trees and oleanders.

Die aras… plukken zich kaal door stress kooi ziet er niet echt dier vriendelijk en stress weg nemend uit voor die beestjes..
Sommige dieren zouden wat meer ruimte mogen inderdaad, waarschijnlijk wordt er wel iets aan gedaan daar er reeds klachten over waren. Maar algemeen zijn de verzorgers wel goed voor de dieren en is vind ik het in de zomer (kom er nooit in de winter) een prachtig park.
