That's impressive, you have the process down to a fine art! Will hopefully be sending my spheres to you for regassing soon.

Great video, thanks for showing and explaining us the inner workings of the Hydragas displacers!
I am shocked how badly the internals can rust. Should we therefore replace the fluid on a regular basis before the corrosion inhibitors become depleted?

Have you tried oxalic acid? It preferentially reacts with iron oxide over elemental iron and, as long as you don't leave it in too long, will not cause additional corrosion to the iron that is left. You can get huge bags of it for cheap, just wear gloves when handling it, of course.

Hello, I would like to know, is there any way that you can fix a hydraga unit..? I have one that is leaking. If yes after the rebuild will it be better and will last longer? Thank you in advance.. Plz let me know. I could send it to you..

Sorry only just seen this question -- Unfortunately NO once either of the rubber diaphragms has failed there is at present no way of repairing them - your only solution is to buy a second hand unit - regards Kevin

Hi Bruno - almost certainly you have lost either most or ALL of the Nitrogen charge in the Hydragas Units that acts as the Gas Spring . If the Internal Diaphragms haven't ruptured I can re-charge with Nitrogen back to original specification - If you have access to a Fluid Pump and a Large VICE you can test how much Nitrogen you have left in the Hydragas Units look at link below and then Email if you want to have ago at testing yourself - OR Email me directly at mgfhydragas@gmail.com and I can do it for you at no cost other than the return postage cost
      Regards Kevin
