I love look-books, just to see your style. No brands would be great, I shop secondhand mostly as well. I tell people which thrift store I bought it because I do not support the store that made it. Loved the video!
For the lookbook, I just like seeing your style! I hardly ever buy the exact thing that is shown anyway, but it is very nice to get inspired by other people that seem to have similar taste. Like, Sanne's outfits always look bitchin' and I'd love to get some ideas from you! For current pieces or things you would recommend you could put links in the description, I am sure it would be helpful for some!
I think it would be great to do a look book with any clothes, showing your style, and only focus on/talk about/ link the items you’re happy promoting! The idea of having one piece in each outfit be ethical sounds like a nice way to organise it, to show how you style the ethical pieces into outfits using things already in your wardrobe from pre-ethical-shopping or second-hand :)
i always love derpinamode, even if i don't take the recs (i don't live in the uk and like to buy local cf brands). it's such a calming and sweet channel.
I would love to see a lookbook! I think the work-around where you only point out the ethically branded clothing, and just say the rest is thrifted would be cool :)
If you want to make a lookbook then that would be cool. I liked what Lex did with hers, where she put what she searched for on depop. It would also be nice to see you talk about your individual styles.
I love these videos so much! For me look books are a nice way to get inspiration and see someone's personal style, so just saying 'second hand' or 'vintage' would be totally fine, it's more about seeing what you can find second hand and getting ideas about what to look for. Also, you may well have already tried it in your deodorant experiments, but most people I know who use aromaco by Lush get on really well with it
Lovely video ladies ^^ For the lookbook, I would really like to see to see your style coming through, whilst there also being one or two items per outfit that are from ethical clothing brands (also shoes!) as I'm having trouble with finding good brands so I would like to see which ones you recommend. But I definitely wouldn't mind seeing some second-hand stuff too! :) x
Wietske Janse I agree, they should promote the ethical clothing then just put 'second hand' on the others without having to name them. Like you've said its style inspiration and tbh I usually take away inspo from look books rather than a shopping list x
Loved this video ^^ I'm so glad I'm not the only one with deodorant struggles!! I'd like to see where you got the stuff from like depop or a charity shop or a vintage fair or whatever :)
I wish you could show more international based brands. Cause like I loveeeeee your content but it's so location based. but brands I love knowing just in case I would want to know where theyre from and get an idea of stuff i might need that i didnt know i needed (like ethical underwear)! i love it when you talk about brands honestly, but lookbooks are cool too (but i dress so differently cause i am a modest dresser and i dont really get to wear things you guys wear).
If you look for a great deodorant I really recommend rock crystal deodorant, which is great and cheap. It isn’t really a deodorant because it has no smell, but it blocks the sweat, which is why I recommend to use a little bit and not every single day. But it’s great if you are out all day!
I just wanna see your style, the brands aren't too important (and not always available outside the UK anyway), so you could highlight just the brands you support, as Sanne suggested. 👗✨
for the lookbook, you could just highlight the ethical stuff and leave out the rest as you said. I mean if for example you show a striped shirt one can still take the inspiration and look for such a kind of shirt in whatever brand one prefers, so I don't think you have to point out where to get everything. I think people are more interested in what you personally like wearing/the style in general. :)
I would just leave out the names of brands that you don’t want to promote and focus on the ethical ones. It’s always nice to see how second hand can mix in with new ethical pieces.
have you looked into crystal rock deodorants? they basically kill off the odour-causing bacteria, last for ages and they're the only thing that work for me (the deodorant struggle is real). Also with lookbooks, I just want to see styles and get inspiration, rather than a visual shopping list of things to get. I would put the brand names of companies you're comfortable with, and if it's second-hand from a store that isn't so good, you can just put "second-hand" - they're probably not in stock anymore anyway
have you tried using potassium alum? I've been using it for ages and it works great as an anti-perspirant, you can get it on amazon or at holland & barrett (search for "salt of the earth") and one block lasts around 4 months

Yay Acure!
I really like how Lex recently did her lookbook, with what her search terms were when she found her second-hand clothes online.

That Pai Cleanser sounds RIGHT up my street!! Loved this xxx

Hurrah to seeing you two back! I have been using Sainsbury’s roll on deodrant which is a mere 80p, it is for sensitive skin and it works! 80p!! Xx

it's always so nice to see you two! Marion, which lipstick are you wearing? looks so pretty.

love your video!
I don't even care about ethics when it comes to lookbook videos I'm just there for the aesthetic ahahaha
also re: clay masks, i use them mixed with tea (chamomile or green) instead of water
+lorenabpv ohhh I love that! - Sanne

My fav two people ^^

Sanne, what about Salt of the Earth?

Sanne, have you tried Seasalt Cornwall for clothes? They have a wide range of sizes
+filifjonka88 Yes! I bought a swimsuit there that I love, but their dresses aren't quite the right fit for me. Will try out their tops though :)
Poudre illuminatrice. May I interested you with a croissant?

Just curious, do you guys try to use products with limited plastic/waste involved? Just another facet of conscientious consuming!
Omg Marion I love your top where’d you get it from? X
From a Goodwill in Indiana :)
