Another brilliant video mate👍,been looking for a super cheap phone to use as a 2nd phone, not gonna game on it,just a bit of twitter,RUclips, and the fingerprint scanner will come in handy for my banking apps….got a discount on it for 90 notes,so jobs a good’un😀
It was between this and the Nokia G22…..what swayed me towards the Honor x6a was my tablet…..watched a vid of yours a few months back covering the honor pad x9….you gave it a good review,so I steamed in there and bought it,£159 from Argos….for the price…probably one of the best tablets I’ve ever had…so this x6a will link up with it nicely👍
Love the way your vids literally cover EVERYTHING….and the magnifying lens on the screen made me chuckle🤣,your vids are appreciated Mate,I watch some tech RUclipsrs and they’ve got thousands upon thousands of subs, some are great, some average and some pretty sh£*te….you’re in the great category👍✌️
Hey John! Ah man, appreciate your feedback! Thank you so much for your kind words! Honestly my aim is to be able to provide the viewer a full comprehensive review of the device and I try my best to cover everything. I’m glad I’ve been able to do that for you and inform you enough for you to be able to decide whether or not to actually purchase a device, makes me very proud to hear comments such as yours and I’m glad that my aim is being achieved.
Thanks for putting me in the great category 😃 that itself is very inspiring and motivating!
Take care bud 👍✌️
@@typicaltechladdoes the honor x6a has a "material you" color theming UI because I cannot see any material you
Made the right choice, I had a Nokia c32 and hated it got the honor x6a instead and really like it
Me watching this on my HONOR x6a😂
🤣 nice
u can tell me about this dives day to day performance
How is the game play on it like?pubg?
Very slow and stuttering
Bro so how is its performance after maybe a month u bought It ?
Finally a tech review that doesn't just list the features stated on the phone...thanks for this very detailed video and actually testing the phone
Hi, thank you for the feedback, much appreciated. It is my aim to be able to provide a review that showcases the claimed features on each device and test them 👍 glad you enjoyed
Brits should be in charge of ALL tech reviews!!! That’s was absolutely brilliant. No BS, no yelling, no waffle. Just a solid professional review of the specs. Thank you! 👍🏻
Thanks man, that’s very nice of you to say, I do try my best to provide the viewer with only the useful info 👍
Great review! Very helpful thankyou
Thanks Sadie! I’m glad you enjoyed it and found it helpful 😊👍
What is the best option samsung a05 or honor x6a or lte zte blade v50 design
Nice vid, most helpful :)
Thank you 🤩 glad it was helpful for you 👍
does it have the compass?
Very prompt and full review! And you've saved me some money, I thought this might be more of a step up from the previous X6, but obviously not with that chip performance. Thanks again! 👍
Hey Richard, appreciate your positive feedback. It's true that the HONOR X6a might have seemed like a potential upgrade, but that definitely wasn’t the case, I feel like HONOR (and other manufacturers) just throw everything at the wall to see what sticks. I'm glad the review saved you some money and helped you make an informed choice. If you ever need more insights or have other tech-related queries, don't hesitate to reach out 👍
@@typicaltechladI purchased this phone a week ago and I'm really doing good with this phone, but I'm also not use it for gaming and all that but for me this honor phone is good enough plus I bought it from a friend who gets every 24months a new phone, I'm really happy with this one idk y so much hate on it
Just ordered mine from Argos. Ordered it after watching this review. I'll use it for a back up phone as still using Huawei P20 Pro and it's still a Beast of a Phone 4 years later 😂
Awesome, seems like a lot of people purchase this phone as a back up phone. I guess it will serve well in that sense. P20 Pro is a solid phone!
Can you give advice on the dual sim slot as I want to be able to use in UK and use a prepaid sim in Spain. Thankyou
Hi, HONOR have the following information:
SIM Card 1
Nano SIM card
SIM Card 2
Nano SIM card
Internet Access on the Secondary SIM Card
Supported
*Blind mating is supported, which allows you to configure any card as the primary SIM card.
*Open "Switch data connection during calls" in "Dual SIM settings" to enable secondary SIM card Internet accessibility during calls.
*VoLTE call via the secondary SIM card depends on the carrier network.
Can i play bgmi in it of 6gb ram
Honor 90 lite unboxing style awesome
Thank you, glad you enjoyed. Your content looks awesome too! Sub from me 👍
Nice review, just subscribed 👍
Awesome, thank you, appreciate that!
Can this phone play efootball24?
very well made review! i was wondering if it would be better for me to buy this one or the samsung galaxy a23 5g. i am mainly looking for a phone that is going to last for a long time but still on a budget. a phone that won't give me problems as in battery or slowness
Thank you! Appreciate the kind words. The A23 is a good phone, me personally I wasn’t a fan of the X6a to be honest. Just felt like it was let down by performance, I would definitely pick the A23 out of the two
What back side
Hi! I need a phone to play games as Roblox and FC Mobile, will this phone do the job? As an alternative I am thinking of Motorola E13. What would be better option? Thanks!
Hey! Honestly the chip used in this phone (Meditatek Helio G36) is not a very good performing chip. If you were okay with low graphics settings then maybe it will suffice but prolonged gaming will make performance worse. Between this and the Moto E13 (which also had a low end chip) I would pick the E13 as better overall phone too.
Do these phones have the "navigation keys" on the bottom? I don't know what the name is. I need a new phone for my Mum to do the basics on but she needs the button at the bottom. Can anyone recommend anything? TIA
Hi, yes the phone does have the traditional navigation keys. You are normally given the option to choose on setup if you want gestures or the three-key navigation but if not these can be changed by heading to Settings > System & updates > System navigation and selecting Three-key navigation. Hope this helps 👍
Seriously I got one and everything is working better I have no problem it's better for the price I got mine at lulu mall in Abu Dhabi it's very good
Really good to hear, hope it serves you well 👍
One question, I have heard many people say that it will become very laggy after long time use and that at first it might feel fast, is that really true?
Hey would you prefer the honor x6a, motorola g13 or motorola g14?
Hi, I would personally go for the Motorola’s, particularly the Moto G14
Has this smartphone been made available worldwide? With its Helio G36 chip, it ought to be a good choice.
I’m not 100% sure about global availability, it would be best to check on HONOR’s website. As for the chip, in my experience it was lacking, but I guess that’s what you would get with a entry level chip
Please tell me it covers with a silicone screen protector
Hi, not sure what you mean by covers with a silicone screen protector?
do you have mid night black too? Which color look better
Hi? I only have the Cyan Lake colour unfortunately. The black looks good to from images, looks a bit muted with the shimmer effect too
@@typicaltechlad Ok thanks
Would you recommend this or Motorola e13 or g13 at this price point? Could you recommend me something from Argos at around this price point? Max £120 or so
The g13 is slightly better than the e13 however the e13 for its price is a very good phone, amazing value for money, if you are happy with a entry level budget phone that just gets the job done
would you say that the extra £50 is worth it to buy the g13? Or should i just stick to the e13. I dont care about gaming or camera, just a reliable device for listening / watching videos and social media, as well as reading and editing documents for work@@typicaltechlad
Can you limit charging to a certain state of charge? Let's say I want it to charge to 85% and stop?
There wasn’t any setting that I saw that allowed you to do so
Too bad, it would be a selling point for me.
Can you recommend equivalent model from Samsung? (Which has the mentioned ability in charging)
@@sokre988Samsung A13 4g has got that plus a decent phone
I need to get a cheap phone from Argos (£100-120 max) by the end of the month. Any suggestions. Just basic google and social media use
The Motorola E13 might be a good option, I’ve reviewed that too
thanks i'll check it out@@typicaltechlad
It's £95 on amazon so worth it
Whats the latest honor one up from this one? Less than 200 smackers
The HONOR 90 Lite?
@@typicaltechlad is the x7a and x8a newer or better? I'm going from holding on dearly to my samsung note 10 plus to a affordable but smooth as possible experience. One thing that is possiblly important is security update guarantees 2 years is pretty short lived wouldn't you agree?
@YouNaanBread the X6a was the latest release out of those phones as far as I am aware, personally I wouldn’t purchase the X6a as the processor was very lacking. If you’re looking for something sub £200 the 90 lite might be a good option? I’ve done an unboxing & review on that also
@@typicaltechlad just looking at the moto G13 specs seems similar
Yeah that’s a similar phone, quite good, I’ve done a review on that also 👍
A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is a very good book.
It sure is, enjoyed it very much. Let’s hope the series lives up to it🤞
i got the honor x6a 🇯🇲
This review was really informative and better than other reviews I have seen for this phone. Would you recommend the Honor X6a or the Samsung Galaxy A14? Note: it will mainly be used for heavy gaming
Hi, thank you for your feedback! Glad you enjoyed 👍 between those 2 phones, I would have to say the A14 is your better option if it’s using the MediaTek Helio G80 chipset though, as the Exynos 850, as far as I can see, does not perform as well and is more on par with the X6a which uses the MediaTek Helio G36. All 3 chips are in the ‘low/entry level’ class so you can’t expect much at all when it comes to gaming, they will have a limited graphics/FPS settings available only
Lol you are planning to use 2 of the crappiest phones for "heavy gaming"
Would you recommend this phone over vivo v27?
Two different categories of phones. The X6a is entry level/low end whereas the v27 is midrange. So I would pick the v27
Lindo Honor X6a
Me gustó X6a😂
Diferente X6a 2023
you got the same color like my phone
Nice! I do like the Cyan Lake colour 👍
@@typicaltechlad me too
I got this one
Nice! How has it been for you?
@typicaltechlad still getting used to it( was a samsung fan).I like that this phone has 5100mah.
@DeviMaistry-oc4fw yeah would be a bit of change coming from Samsung, battery capacity on the phone is good definitely. How has the performance been? That’s the only thing I found ’lacking’.
@@typicaltechladI also found it lacking as well.
play codm,can see the leg
Slow and stuttering ,takes time to load tasks
Not something I would buy due to the chipset making the phone struggle
Yup, chipset is definitely a let down in this phone
Which phone would you buy for £100-150 pounds. The best most affordable phone. I have a Xiaomi and have no storage left. Hardly no apps on the device. It's rubbish.
❤❤❤❤
Budget
Can i play pubg on it😊
You probably can play those games but expect very limited graphics and frame rate

Hi, I’m not sure I understand?
I've put order in for this phone I'm going to cancel its rubbish I'm ud hauwie p30lite far better phone and p30 pro is better again and budget phones today £118 to 130 p30lite to p30 pro it's a good job we have utube it saves a lot of time and money buying and return an item thanks utube
Battery lasts for 7 days If you ccharge IT from 40 percent to 85 percent
IT Last this time with about 30 minutes of calls
7 alarms during the week
No Video gameplay
No streaming
Looking at the mobile about 10 times Just for checking time
No WhatsApp No other social Networks
Im using IT exactly Like written Here
And im using IT for a month now
The battery to me is Not that strong
I was Not expecting about five percent Energy loss on one day
Just receiving about two calls a week
I Got two calls about 30 minutes Long so i will Check in IT again
But to me ITS Not a very good battery
I was expecting about 15 days with a Brand new mobile Phone that IS Not using WhatsApp , mobile Data to Go to the Internet and gaming in between
So If i would Play Games i Had to Charge IT after three days and If im using WhatsApp or Other Messenger Like stereo Type people using IT about 2 hours a day or more , watching RUclips Videos listening music , this battery hast to be charged maybe every Second day
I will fully Charge IT now once
Maybe This will activate the battery
