Hey ! I tried your build a bit in acts and realized something weird. You take Forbidden Power as your first ascendency node. But quickly after that, you take Eldritch battery. This cancels the power charge generation of Forbidden Power, making the node completely useless. I may have missed something, but you don't have a way to generate power charge until the end of acts with power charge on crit support. Have I missed something ?
So I try this “baited build” as my league starter. Unfortunately I couldn’t spend too much time in the weekend. But still I enjoy this build very much at current T5-T6 progression.
@@Amonkira1029 tbh I start falling quite bad due to my internet issue, rubber band keep pulling me back and kill me with insufficient DPS. So I have to reroll to other range DPS. After 30D of saving. Purchase a HH and went back to COLD BV. and my screen is clean AF. Feeling superb.

Looks decent enough and I do like BV, but I kinda wanted to go CI and probably trickster for E Z tankyness. Smashed your POB and the POB for the arc of surging CI power stacker I played in affliction together and while it's a bit of a struggle to get your attributes where they need to be, with the tattoo's (assuming the +4 to all attributes one gets added) it is doable. Came up with 68.9k EHP, 85% lucky supress and 9.4 mil full dps (800k average hit, 92% crit chance, 6.7m total dps incl ignite) and still got pops (oriath's end). Gonna be expensive though (only 2 rare items xD) so definitely no longer a "league starter", but might give it a shot after farming some currency. Cheers for idea!

One question: The note "Wandering Path" has been remove, do you think MF build now is worth to play? (Compare to Heist, Expedition,... about currency farming speed)
Yep, MF still a good strategy but if you want the maximum amount of currency for the minimum amount of time then loogbook farming is your choice...But you don't even need an atlas for this strategy=)
how do you generate power charges? i understand that it should be generated by acsencion node, but it seems not to work with eldritch battery cuz i use ES instead of mana lol. is there something im doing wrong?
Last league i played this build but from cronic painless he has a cold bv league starter for every league. He started with elementalist golemancer 3 heralds version cause he mentioned was tankier and more damage with low investment and after making some currency and specific items he transitioned into occultist.Whats your thoughts about it?Do you know that guy? I really enjoyed the playstyle and was thinking about doing it again.The transition was a bit rough and occultist felt less tanky and dmg in the beginning but i managed to scale it later. I was planing expedition farming as i never tried it yet.What are tour thoughts about the new wand with multiple phys as extra mods?
Hello. Maybe I've missed something but since I've switched to eldricht battery / blade vortex in act 5 my powercharge generation didn't work anymore. Can you help me ? I think my problem came from eldricht battery spending energy shield instead of mana and power charge generation from forbidden power came from spending mana ...

How're you getting spell suppress cap? with the suppress nodes, lucky, and spell suppress on my chest, im still under 50% suppress. Where tf are you getting more?

I’ve started cold BV many times. I do agree with Chronic Painless starting with an Elementalist and doing an Occy swap later feels better progression wise…. I love BV but I played a 5+ mirror BV assassin in Affliction nothing will compare to it so I’m staying away from BV this league.
it's hard to answer that question, but: 1 - Poison BV has more damage at the start of the league (30% more damage) 2 - But starting a league with Poison BV is not the best experience. You will have to complete acts with Poisonous Concoction and swap to BV can only be done after you have Obliteration, Dendrobate, Ming's Heart. Also, the witch does not have access to Poisonous Concoction and you will need to level up Ranger to level 12 to get this skill gem. 3 - Cold BV has a lot more damage with good gear 4 - Cold BV is a more flexible build in terms of gear selection 5 - If you want Poison BV.... Pathfinder is a better choice. I hope this information helps you to make a choice=)

Okay so I never used BV but I wanna try it. The thing which I don't know is if you have to cast it often to keep up the skill or it's just one time thing like you activate the skill and just run around?
I think posion version would be much more tankier. But it would be better with Pathfinder. For cold BV, early game is also pretty cheap. 2 void battery with Carcassjack will cover damage and area of effect. But its just for mapping in T16. Its good enough.As long as gaining currencies have to start crafting and upgrade to damage version. I love blade vortex man. Its just game is getting hard and hard each league, now if you have same damage it means we will give up a lot surviving aspect. Anyway hope someone who is giga mind solves it
How the hell do u move around and keep blade vortex stacks up ? Doesnt it have a cast time to force u to stay stationary ???? Someone with xp plz clarify
With the unleash support and extra seal on the tree, you cast one time every few seconds and it adds 5 blades so you don't need to keep casting it all the time. The less damage mod from the unleash support doesn't lower the damage of BV because of the way BV works so that the first blade is used to calculate the damage for each of added ones.
Hi, I wonder if you can replace unleash support with the new support gem automation. It seems like it will work to me. At 20/20, automation support would only add 0.6 second to cooldown to BV, with no damage penalty. This would mean that you only need to invest a little increase duration as long as your BV last more than 6 seconds, your 10 stacks of BV will up all of the time. Plus, it trigger BV for you so you don't need to stop to cast, and it has the same mana cost multiplier with unleash support. It seems to be all way better than unleash, or am I missing something with it?
Automation won't work with Blade Vortex. Automation: While this skill is active, supported spells will trigger whenever their cooldown is over. Supports spell skills that are instant and have no reservation. Cannot support skills used by totems, traps, or mines. Cannot modify the skills of minions.
full MF is a bad idea, but you can add some MF items to your build and start with mechanics that summon a lot of good monsters (for example: Legion - they have high item quantity and rarity which is good for MF + good loot in general).
Cold conversion BV has always been a bait build for starter. 0 bossing dps, you can clear and then you cry on bosses, in addition you die a lot. Bonus to all - it gets really expensive to continue upgrading really fast 😂. To make it work you'll need more than bow with gem mods and double damage implicits.
1.5 mil dps and 2 mil dps (with Vaal BV) with day 2 gear = 0 boss dps if you die a lot with determination, grace, tempest shield, 75% lucky spell supp + jade and granite flask and 3.5k-4k HP...i have a very bad news for you!🤡🤡
@@ExiledCat_PoE yeah 50m is enouth to be fair, 100m to be comfortable. i just used 100m since thats what i usually go for. As for last league.. we are talking 10000+ whisps 8 mod corrupted maps (those maps are harder to beat then UBERs IMO). But since we are getting T17 next league i will go for even more.
i want to do this SO BAD to make it an MF version after completing the atlas but i'm scared i'll get one tapped by the new bosses and T17 maps. guess you can't have it both ways.

This is my bad, i checked my POB and in Act 5 part there is a mistake. Instead of Added cold damage you need power charges on crit

Nope, we have a shield charge so it won't affect our speed in general.

Good guide but I prefer The Occultist, especially in my version this build is not squishy. But it's a matter of personal preference

In my experience: DO Occultist will be worse than BV.

Debating LA DE, CA/TR PF, Minion, or maybe a totem or trap build to league start aimed at Sanctum and Delve.

I dont get how am I able to fit haste? I linked it with Divine Blessing but 607 mana to cast.. i got 7 unreserved mana
You need keystone Eldritch Battery on the skill tree and energy shield on your gear
Hi! At act 5 when you swap to blade vortex it is not possible to activate all 3 auras . How would you solve this?
At act 5 you can use 2 Auras (50 and 25%). And At act 9 or ten you can activate all of your auras

spell suppress on chest, boots and shield + quartz flask. not a cap but 90-95% and for SC is ok

You cast it every 4-5 seconds (to keep max blades)

If you got enough divines, then yeah.
Do ET Trickster. One of the best bossers in the game and the shrapnel skill makes mapping awesome too

He does press Blade Vortex from time to time, the stacks just go up really fast it's barely noticable.
It makes you cast the spell a lot, especially when you don't have skill effect duration points on the tree.
With the unleash support and extra seal on the tree, you cast one time every few seconds and it adds 5 blades so you don't need to keep casting it all the time. The less damage mod from the unleash support doesn't lower the damage of BV because of the way BV works so that the first blade is used to calculate the damage for each of added ones.

where is all the AoE coming from? in the video it looks like you got at least a 3.5m radius on your BV
Increase aoe per power charge from occultist and some aoe on the skill tree.

Hi, I wonder if you can replace unleash support with the new support gem automation. It seems like it will work to me.
At 20/20, automation support would only add 0.6 second to cooldown to BV, with no damage penalty. This would mean that you only need to invest a little increase duration as long as your BV last more than 6 seconds, your 10 stacks of BV will up all of the time. Plus, it trigger BV for you so you don't need to stop to cast, and it has the same mana cost multiplier with unleash support. It seems to be all way better than unleash, or am I missing something with it?

Automation: While this skill is active, supported spells will trigger whenever their cooldown is over. Supports spell skills that are instant and have no reservation. Cannot support skills used by totems, traps, or mines. Cannot modify the skills of minions.

full MF is a bad idea, but you can add some MF items to your build and start with mechanics that summon a lot of good monsters (for example: Legion - they have high item quantity and rarity which is good for MF + good loot in general).

Cold conversion BV has always been a bait build for starter. 0 bossing dps, you can clear and then you cry on bosses, in addition you die a lot. Bonus to all - it gets really expensive to continue upgrading really fast 😂. To make it work you'll need more than bow with gem mods and double damage implicits.
1.5 mil dps and 2 mil dps (with Vaal BV) with day 2 gear = 0 boss dps
if you die a lot with determination, grace, tempest shield, 75% lucky spell supp + jade and granite flask and 3.5k-4k HP...i have a very bad news for you!🤡🤡

i just used 100m since thats what i usually go for.
As for last league.. we are talking 10000+ whisps 8 mod corrupted maps (those maps are harder to beat then UBERs IMO).
But since we are getting T17 next league i will go for even more.
