The cool side heatsink will have steam condensed to water , you need to put bucket below the heat sink and if you want it higher efficiency, use water cooling
I am trying to set up a peltier 12706 supplying power from a 12 Volt, 6 Amp transformer rectifying & filtering it into 12 V DC. At first the heat sinks on the hot side is heating up and cold side is cooling respectively. A few minutes later the cold side is also heating up. How to solve this?
Your cooling solution must be able to dissipate the amount of heat of the peltiers. with 12v 6a thats up to about 72w of heat. You may need to include a water cooling solution to your setup.
Good job... I have a question... 12v x 6amp =72 watt/peltier... Hence total power used roughly around 300w plus 2 fan using around 40watt power =340w....can this 340w peltier ac module cool the room of 150sq ft like air conditioner?
I would love to watch you build one with the hot side heat sinks into a water recipient. Using a device that sends energy pulses instead of a continuous current will make sure the Peltier module doesn't burn down too quickly. You will have warm water for showering and cold air for cooling your room.
Peltier capacity is very low and you can't compare it to proper compressor cooler or wire heater. It can barely warm a bucket of water incase that it is cold weather. Or maybe to cool a room, while barely able to keep cool when you push high pressure fan through the peltier fin. Compressor based air cooler is 10 ~ 20 times more efficient compared to peltier. For example, you need at least 4000 watt of peltier power to cool a room but for the same BTU you can use 400 watt 1/2HP Air con to bring a room to same temperature.
try to connect the wires in series 220 volt, it turns out 18 pieces of Peltier elements, and integrate it all into a long pipe with radiators, one PC fan will blow into the pipe, and on the sides on the Peltier elements there are economical fans on each and they should also be connected in series 18 pieces per 220 volt
the Peltier module heats on one side and cools on the other the heated side is not cooled enough the peltier module is inefficient useless so do not use a more energy efficient peltier module
Efficiency is terrible with Peter.. Really just better of with 10 x 250 watt used solar panels that u can steal off someone's roof for free. Some used car batteries, a cheap AliExpress inverter and a 9000 btu inverter type AC. For any real practical use anyway.

You still need the hidden battery (behind baby diaper bag) to run the Peltier. Solar panel would be enough for the fans, and bit more.
Thank you for watching, for sharing your good comments
lmao 😁😁😁
He is using the diapers for power. They are used diapers.
Buen trabajo. ¿Se puede alimentar el módulo y ventiladores con una batería de auto?
Para operar, debe haber una buena disipación de calor para 2 placas de aluminio separadas 2 cm o más
nice
thank you
very nice? do you plan to put the peltier outside with a water reservoir so the cold water goes into a radiator inside your home?
ok, i cooled it with water, thank you
What peltier module number 🤔
Please close your door with sealing, cooling air leaking in the gap and coming till south india unable to go outside the house.
i think it has not enough insulation and heat spreader, would end up in both side hot then no more heat could be pump

Why u used that 10 watt resistor?
Wow. Your a wizard 🎉pls make a generator from a iPhone charger 👌 in the next video
Sorry but 2 12v peltier unit could not cool a medium sized fridge let alone an entire room.
power supply use server power that only 12V more Amp.
PC電源供應器 還有5V 3.3V分散了 電力,不如使用伺服器的電源供應器 只有12V的 能提供更強的電流。而且二手的不貴。
伺服器的電源供應器 會買二手的人很少 所以不貴。
lol.bro,your peltier super power .😂😂😂
I beg your pardon. The white pieces that have two wires coming out of them, what are they and where can I find them????

i already emailed you about this project. i want to know more about it and details for me to rebuild it as my university project

those things are terribly inefficient compared to a heat pump. after a year of use you would end up paying more than a heat pump costs just in power.
