Rublev pushed him hard from side to side. He had a serious problem in 3 set to catch a breathe.. Good work Rublev..
People aren’t talking about this enough, sinner was gasping for air after every point in the 3rd. I think his horrible conditioning led do this more then the hip. He was still firing and running back and forth. It clearly took everything to do so as he was so gassed. His conditioning is very poor in my opinion.
@Scheboygan8767 and this is not the first time he has gasping for air ..
@@narcyznarcyz-uv4td yeah against medvedev at Wimbledon he gassed as well, blamed it on “dizziness” but medvedev was making him run and that’s why he was dizzy.
@@Scheboygan8767 He also had cramps in the RG semi-final, which is also a sign of poor physical preparation.
@@Сергей-д2н2ш True, but I feel that it's also a way to accept his defeat... Maybe I'm wrong, but I'm feeling that way.
So happy for Andrey😃😃

Rublev is playing so well and when he doesn’t get upset he’s so great!!!
Sinner's recurrent pain on the hip is absolutely terrifying for anyone that knows a thing or 2 about hips' injuries in this sport.
That ruined second part of Hewitt's career, Kuerten as well and more recently Andy Murray.
Hip issues and wrists issues are career ending type of problems, i seriously hope it's only muscular.
Exactly. I'm worried because he said in a press conference that his injury was so unusual, the doctors weren't sure what to tell him about recovery time. Really hope he plays it safe and lets himself fully heal. Not worth the risk.
He was trying to stretch it out between games and he didn't call an MTO so I was hoping maybe it was just cramping, but he looked pretty concerned. He's so young and hasn't hit his peak yet, it would be terrible for him to lose his career over an injury.
Yeah, really hope sinner fully view this and takes the time off tour if needed. Like you said, one injury in the hip or the wrist, the player never perform like before.
In a meta-review of several thousand injuries, only 13% of injuries were found to be of the muscle belly. The remaining 87% of all injuries are connective tissue in nature. Which means that most people who recover from injuries are recovering from something connected to a tendon, ligament, or fascial tissue. Just a cool fact I wanted to share.
He should take up the Djoker diet and routine to be honest, bet you Alcaraz is snacking on green smoothies right now ready to knab number 1.
When Rublev plays his best its absolutely incredible tennis. So beautiful to watch. Do this more often pls Rublev!
First he beats Alcaraz in the quarterfinal of Madrid and wins the title. Now he beats Sinner in the quarterfinal of Montreal. 👏 I can hardly believe it. So incredibly happy for Bweh. ❤🥺
What’s bweh? 💀
@@Rune8119 BWEHHH!

@@Rune8119 Actually, when Rublev plays, he grunts something that sounds like BWEEH. That's why some of us refer to him as Bweh, instesd of Rublev.
He defeated an already injured Alcaraz in Madrid. Now an apparently injured Sinner.
Despite Sinners injury, excellent footwork from Rublev
He has no injury. It’s just poor conditioning .
Sinner clown actor, when he loses, he starts doing this things xD
If it reall was due to injury, Sinner has to be the most fragile young player I've ever seen, constant injuries!
injury ??!! Which injury this guy is actor
What injury? He should have retire from the match, if he had an injury. Again Sinner showed what a failure he is. Alcaraz better. Rublev better. Great job Rublev.
Hopefully, this is the spark to bring back Rublo's stride.
I really hope so too. He has been really down lately.
Absolutely
@@STRAWYBSince Paris, he's played like a top 25 player...I believe he will miss the next tournaments and USO will be a huge tournament to see what happens next. It's not only affecting his physical play but deep down the guy's got to worry about serious injury to the hip and that affects his intensity level 😢
Not sure about that, it was obvious Sinner was struggling with a hip injury!
Imagine 6 hours 2 atp matches 😂😂
the battles between these two are always bangers 🔥
gotta love to see it 😎
Andrey was playing unbelievable tennis, strong and powerful forehand, amazing first serve, he played confidently, wonderful performance, congratulations Andrey and wishing you the best luck in semifals! 🎾🤞You can do it Andrey, keep believing, keep playing the tennis you played against Jannik and I believe you will be very successful at this tournament 🎾👏🤞☺️
My man🎉❤❤❤
Big ANDREY , "big Bweh" ❤
I'm really sad to see Sinner struggling with the same problem knowing how hard he works and how talented he is. It's important to have him playing on the highest levels to bring the best out of Carlos and the others. This is not a happy day. I hope this problem doesn't become worse than it looks.
That doesn't mean Rublev didn't play a fantastic game! He played beautifully and had control of himself. I'm a huge fan of both but seeing Rublev like this... It's wonderful
I am a big fan of Jannik, but I no longer trust the official reasons for withdrawals and defeats. They seem like excuses to mask reasons of poor mental and physical commitment.
Whenever he starts losing he pretends to be injured.
@@MondoRockGP it depends he's a really fair guy and it's proved in the games so I don't think it's fair to say that 🤷🏻♀️ he actually had tonsils and hips so 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
@@pettypunk6446 he actually had a hip injury so it's kind of probable that it actually happened
I've been worried about that weird hip injury Sinner had, and his obvious pain here doesn't bode well. I really hope his team convinces him to just stay off the tour till he's fully healed. It's not worth jeopardizing his health and career over trying to get ready for a slam.
Yeah,he needs to rethink his schedule,do something like Alcaraz does, hip injuries are serious stuff, very serious,it reminds me of Guga Kuerten and now Murray,I don't want Sinner to have the same fate.
Worries here as well ever since Paris😢....if not healed well, this can potentially devastate his career. Hope not😢
He's got this. He played great but just can't go the distance. He'll be ready for US Open.
100% agreed... stay out for 2-3 months and do aggressive therapy and rehab...
Yeah, he should not play until the US open... And then decide not to defend his 500 titles. He should only play 1000s and slams
Rublev played fantastic tennis. Bliss to watch when he finds the rhythm. ✌🏼
actually so happy ngl hope he wins
this match was intense till sinner got hurt :( i hope he's okay hip injuries need long rests.
Bravo Rublo!! Well-deserved victory! 🙌🏽
ATP needs to do something for scheduling. All players need more rest.
Seems like sinner is in pain, but not inhibiting his movement. Great match from Rublev.
Great game, Andrey. 👍😍
Man sinner really needs some physical help, has been rough since the start of the clay season
I’m more concerned with him clearly gassing then the hip injury, he was still running back and forth hitting shots when he had too. He was sweating through his shirt so badly and gasping for air between every point. His conditioning is very bad
well done Andrey🥰🫶
So unfortunate that Sinner had hip issues again, he looked like he was doing well in the past couple of matches. Nonetheless, Rublev played some beautifully attacking tennis, and well played to him. Hope he goes all the way!
Sinner was gassed it wasn’t his hip, boy was gasping for air bending over in the 3rd.
Why’s he playing if he’s injured?

Rublev's psychologist helped him very well:) Good Job
Say that when he's losing a match. That's the real indicator to show if it worked.
I hope he will recover fully. Hate to see him injured.
Sinner health and physicality plaguing him once again... How he recovers soon. Also a much needed win for Rublo. Hope he rediscovers his stride in big tournament soon.
Rublev played divinely, in the second set Sinner pushed very hard but it is not possible for him to have these continuous relapses. Ok, it's not Sinner's fault, the body responds to him in this way but it's a real shame
We’re doomed for an era of injuries from the best two players in the world. These days players push themselves too hard to reach physical peaks. There is only so much the body can take. The difference between the top players isn’t the physicality, it’s the mentality, and they need to realise this. Take it easier on the body and you’ll see the same results
Happy for you to play in form Rublo. Hope to see you win many more matches and lift trophies again.
once djokovic retires he will be the most sought out physio in tennis , he can teach these young ones a thing or two about recovery and avoiding injuries
Physio, trainer AND mental coach 🤣
Really want Sinner to come back strong without injuries! He’s a gem of talent.
The better player won, I'm so happy for him. Well deserved
god, what a speed of the ball, these exchanges were phenomenal
It would be greatly appreciated if you stopped this trend of putting the winner in the title and thumbnail
When Rublev gets it together he is very very impressive
Sinner’s likely to pull out of Cincinnati. The tennis is there but if the body’s not at least 65%, concerns are there. Same thing happened at Wimbledon but all the best
At least he doesn't have points to defend there. I hope he gets to play in the US open, but if it's so serious who knows 😥
he is playing cinci. But i agree he is not 100% and should care about US Open more than cinci. If he gets another injury at conci i dont know how he is ready to play USO
@@Nazhuk
He should rest for Australia 2025
don't spoil the result in the thumbnail please!!!!!!!!!!!! :C
Congrats to Rublev, great match from him! I hate to say this because I really love Sinner as a player and a person, but he’s looking very physically fragile, or he’s always injured or sick when he loses, hopefully he doesn’t develop Nadal syndrome and always talk about injuries when he loses! I get it, injuries are part of the game and really do affect players, but every loss this year seems to have some sort of physical affliction attached to it!
Rublev was in a rut. I am happy for him to have some wins. But I am really worried about sinner going into us open with that him. Really want another sinner vs djokovic/alcaraz showdown.
Big fan of Jinner. I am so worried his health. He has to eat well and get stronger in health. He is getting thinner and not strong enough to fight the battles in tennis
Sinner is a nice kid, but he's not built for grueling tennis. Period.
He is overrated. Carlos is much better than him.
Absolutely awful highlights cut, incl. commenting. Makes you think Sinner is winning the whole thing.
Not a big fan of Rublev, but giving credit where credit is due, he played an outstanding match.
Rublev is back !
We all know how good Rublev’s best can be.
Sinner’s hip didn’t seem to affect him during that second set.
It's recurring --on and off
Bc it didn't exist 😂
I was watching the match today. Sinner first complained about it in the break post 2nd set. He was massaging himself. It seemed aggravated after he started playing. After 3 games in the 3rd set he requested for the knob and finished the match. It's true that the initial two games of the 3rd set went to Rublev because Sinner couldn't give his best. Later Rublev picked up. However, in the first set he had outplayed Sinner and Sinner came back well in the second set.
None of you guys except rekhashashi2710 watched the match
You do know injuries get worse the more you play right? It's not like Djokovic who complains about pain early on and then manages to magically win because he threw his opponent off.
Oh no Tennis TV. Why are you now putting the result in the banner? Now we know the result before watching the highlights. What is the purpose of that?

My precious king Rublev
Very happy for Rublev, congrats! 🎉
In the last four Masters, none of Carlos and Sinner, Medvedev and Novak made it to the final...
The new era is precarious...
True... Although with Sinner and Alcaraz it was because of physical problems. Otherwise they would've got there. And Alcaraz is obviously not playing here because of the Olympics.
Again the hip. Sinner is aiding the symptoms, not trying to fix the core-problem because that might take months or even a full year to fix it. But it's understandable that he wants to keep going because he is pretty much in his prime in 2024. The results and sacrifices he made so far does have a toll, just look at Murray after 2016. It is quite unfortunate those hip issues occur this early in Sinners career. Tbf, Sinners build looks quite frail compared to his peers of his age so the toll must be pretty high on his body.
Muy triste por Sinner. 😢😢😢Aunque Rublev esta jugando bien después de una mala racha.
How can it be that tournaments exist these days where players have to play more than one match in one day? I mean, both Rublev and Sinner played two matches so it’s not like one had an advantage over the other by only having to play one, but in general that to me is insane. Even if there’s rain or some other kind of unforeseen situation that pushes play to such a degree, I mean, add an extra day to the tournament if you must. They’re tennis courts, it’s not like they’re booked for something else. What, is the local instructor gonna sue because the final of a Masters 1000 interfered with his Girl’s 12-and-under group lesson🤷🏻♂️
Edit: Actually, I take it back…sort of. Cincinnati starts on the day of the final here in Montreal, so they can’t push it. But there too we see the result of bad scheduling. The season needs to accommodate for such delays. The players and their health and wellbeing must be the priority!!!
Its atp fault, for years they cant find solution, but prefer to loose money every year, instead of investing in roofs in each tournament
All sinner fans says he was injured😂😂😂, look his last defeats , fans were saying he was injired. He is always injured. Like this excuse he will never get achievements
Great Win 🎉🎉
About time Rublev. Well done.
Would love for the thumbnail to not be the result... I'm not sure why you would want that?
The complaints about this will never matter. You can find out any score immediately before any highlight reel.
It's nothing serious for Sinner, he's just tired because had a tonsillitis for 10 days and didn't stand the 2 matches in one day not being at 100% yet. The hip is fine, he said so. Let's see in Cincinnati and above all at the US Open
Excellent commentary I like both
Is there something going on with Sinner during this tournament. Each of his singles matches his level starts off pretty low for many games before he dials in. Maybe just match play confidence but he is slow to move or get set up in the beginning of his sets and letting others bull his serve and ground strokes.
That’s just how sinner plays he isn’t one to blow u off the court at the beginning, everyone usally holds serve then at 2-2 or sumn he breaks and then just holds serve and maybe gets a 2nd break
I agree with John he did this at Roland Garros too. My dad scoffed about him being 2nd in the world until Sinner got his first break and dominated in the rest of the match we watched (I think it was vs Gasquet). I think Sinner uses the first few games as like an extension of the warmup and to feel out his opponent's serve and strategy. He plays smart more than hard, he also doesn't run after every ball unless it's a deciding point. It may have been a smart tactic of Rublev's to go on the attack early on and break to delay Sinner from getting into a proper rhythm.
@@ada5851 yeah I think that was Rublev’s goal and he was confident. Also, Sinner’s movement all tour has just been slower in reaction than normal. He doesn’t step in and seems uncertain in each match, other than doubles. Just seemed especially off
@@sawyer7191hip..hip😢...can you imagine that it's on his mind?!?...do I battle each point?...what if I do?...what happens if I reinjure myself? It's happening NOW. you cannot have these battles raging in your mind when you've got another one on the court.
Sadly, I see Carlos taking #1 at USO.😢
Feel terrible for Sinner and hope this hip injury can heal with rest, missed tournaments.
This was his characteristic when he still wasn't one of the best in the world. Italian commentators called him a "diesel car", because they start off more slowly than the others 😅
What happened to not spoiling in the title lol?
Someone said the doctors told Jannick to take time off and rehab the potential career ending injury and doesn’t seem like the advice is being taken
Someone said?
@@allison4737 “Jannik Sinner wants to play at Roland Garros, but doctors are giving him contrasting advice. The hip injury, which doesn't look very serious, may turn out to be a chronic problem if it's not treated properly. According to a report published by Gazzetta, Sinner is likely to miss the clay court Grand Slam in Paris.”
Cares too much about not losing points when he should probably care more about not losing his career 🤷🏻♀️
Rublev played in an excellent way, give him credit to have beaten an admirable Sinner this season so far.
‘Oh, Spank you very much!’
Rublev gets one good win and now he is such a 'wow' player. These people forget that Rublev was losing to everybody the past 4 months. To likes of Alexandre Muller.
Forza Jannick, siamo tutti con te ❤
That's like 3 tournaments in a row with some kind of physical issue...Not looking very promising
Ruvlev 잘했어 축하해 🎉
Not sure Sinner is going to play in Cincinnati. He better not ,with USO looming.
I hope not, he doesn't even have any points to defend.
With US Open just 2 weeks away, this is not looking good for Sinner and men's tennis certainly looks much better with a fully fit Sinner in it! Hope he recovers in time! All the best!
Why do people think Carlos is not capable of winning the US Open? He won it in 2022 and he's the best player at this point in time in 2024.
@@brendajohnson5525They are saying that Sinner is a great player who can compete with the best. Of course Alcaraz can win it, but it's going to be much easier without a healthy Sinner.
@@connaeris8230 Yes, completely agree with you!
@@brendajohnson5525 Yes, of course, Alcaraz won it before and can win it again! But US open with full fit Alcaraz, Sinner and Djokovic is going to be amazing for tennis lovers like myself!
In a sport - our sport - that requires running, moving quickly and changing direction abruptly, hip problems are deadly. These problems not only put a strain on the body, but also on the mind.
I think the problem in general is that the age at which we start playing tennis today is too young. You can see this in the fact that almost no one plays a one-handed backhand anymore. It's too dangerous for children. That's why they are taught the two-handed backhand. We have to start rethinking sport. We can't allow players like Janick Sinner to become number 1 only to get rid of them when they get injured. Unfortunately, a player with such problems does not have the time to fully recover. It's not like in football, where a player can be substituted and after an injury he is used for 5 minutes, then 10, 15 minutes and so on. A tennis player has to participate again as quickly as possible, possibly playing for 5 or more hours in order to prevent himself from slipping into no man's land. It's brutal! I hope the best for Jannik!
I made a comment in a previous RUclips video about who would win and I put down sinner for sure as long as his hip does not bother him. I also wrote that if there are hip lingering issues, he will lose his number one status this year and he must be extremely careful because this can be devastating to his career. He may have to take a long break until he feels 100%. So sad for my favorite number one guy but I pick alcarraz to take the number one status by late summer or fall. 😔😔😕
A hip problem is one of the biggest problems a tennisplayer can face. I think his tremendous succes of the last 12 months has led to this. He played so many tournaments. He should take some rest and play less tournaments. He has some points to defend now.
If you are injured, you have to withdraw, particularly in a sport like tennis
Andrey on fire here! It's a shame Jannik was having a problem with his hip, though. But not to take anything away from Andrey's victory ❤
2 possible scenarios for Sinner. Or Dominic Thiem scenario, or Danil Medvedev scenario, where he won grandslam, was number 1 and then disapear.
Intelligent with talented player struggling of injury.. come back stronger soon...
Well played Rublev and you can't really blame him for the travails of Sinner.

Rublev was gonna win that regardless. He's hitting really good and timing everything right off his hip.
Sinner didn’t have hip issues lmao,, he was out of breath and has shit endurance and mentality. If he wants to stay at the top he needs to work on those things immediately. Also to stop acting like hes injured every time he’s losing. It’s really not a good look.
After Sinner becomes no. 1 he gets injured too easily so he isn't consistent enough!
Yea everytime he loses he's injured. Every time he wins, he's great, ok.

Sinner and Kalinskaya need to take it easier. Getting injured with too much bedroom gymnastics! :-P
Rublev, the good guy
Rublev needs to steal that drive volley shot that Sinner uses. It will work well for him and he needs more to his game.
Rublev uses drive volleys a lot already
You can say he is in bad waters, for a few months the great tennis players, know his problem. So as Rublev did, to suddenly move the game on the two sides, he did it in a way to exacerbate the problem. Now all the champions seeing this, know how to put him in difficulty.
I got hip injury because of running too much, so I stopped running for a good year. Now I run again and it has mostly healed, but sometimes it hurts, and I have to take it easy. Hip injuries are serious stuff. I can't imagine what it's like for Sinner who has an incredibly busy and physically demanding schedule. He can afford professional physios and nutritionists though, so hopefully they help him to recover and stay away from it as much as possible. If needed, he might need to alter his play style so that he takes it easier on his body. His hard-hitting and super long rallies (+ supposedly natural predisposition for hip injury) are a big no-no, in my view.
Sinners got redeemed by saint Rublev. Amen.
Why would you spoil this in the title
