aww don't ever feel that you have to explain. I have a huge collection of pencils and books and yet I continue to buy . I LOVE and am PROUD of my obsession and you should be too. My colouring pals used to say, it could be a far worse hobby; it's not drugs, gambling or money laundering. It hurts no one and it makes you happy. (and colouring is so creative and relaxing!) However I am very susceptible and after watching this video I went out and bought a new set of gel pens...lol. 🤣😁😬 (ooh and white gelly roll! )
Your gel pen addiction is no different than my colored pencil addiction! LOLI hope that nobody is picking on you for it. But you're right, it's your money and you are not hurting any of us. Heck, you are HELPING us!! Sharing your collection and telling us a little about the pens. Brown is HARD to find. I have more black ones than brown. HA!

The 48 neon set are my fav go to pens…I love anything neon to be fair and lurve gel pens to stroke…I have started to use them to outline colouring pictures not block colouring… you are a girl after my own heart…🥰🥰

The pastels always feel like they've had white added to them and they're too thick to run smoothly... if that makes sense. 🥰
That was a very fun video. I love looking at people's art medium collections and how they store them, it's more fun if they have lots!! I have a very poor gel pen collection. Just the 8 pentel hybrids metallics, the Jelly rolls in moonlight, starlight, glaze and souffle and some that came from a Japanese store that look a lot like some of those ones you had at the end, (the pack with the black cat on the corner)! They probably are the same!

You can never have too many gel pens Lily. My absolute favourites are pentel dual hybrids and gelly roll glaze.
My shuttle art which came in a case never see the light of day.❤❤❤
I like they Dual Hybrid's too but they are a bit expensive for doing whole pages with. I've never been a fan of the Glaze pens, too sticky 😆

I have not been coloring very long and I had purchased 3 Signo gel pens to do accents with. One white one gold and one silver. I now see that I am woefully unprepared for my coloring adventure. Thank you for opening my eyes to this terrible lack of gel pens and I shall be on my way to the dollar store post haste😂. Great video so much fun as always.

Lily i absolutely LOVED this video you know you also inspired me to become a gel pel addict i don't have this many but i wouldn't be against it haha such an amazing collection you always make me laugh i love the part where they appeared under the drawer you are one of my favourite people to watch on RUclips I just love your personality and your sense of humour you are so fun to watch you know i love me some neon gel pens so loved seeing those it is so sad the works changed their cheap gel pen set and that the colour technic and arteza super ones aren't available anymore i really wanted to try the arteza ones hopefully they will bring them back one day the good thing is with gel pens you can use them up pretty well if you colour whole pages with them that is such a handy box too for the shuttle art pens too and omg yeah a whole gel pen series i'm so excited 😊😊😊😊💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 and also White Gellyroll xx

I agree, the old Works pens were excellent pens and I've not found a good replacement for the 80 Color Technik ones yet (I'll keep looking!) The Chromatek are as nice but they have less in in them so go fast. 🥰

I'm the same, even in Sainsburys I run over to the Back To School section and lovingly stroke the packs of 10 gel pens... hubs rolling his eyes. I agree with the flair taking too long to dry, I was colouring a picture with flair once and a fly came in and stuck to the wet page... couldn't get him off! Robbie next to me as I type, gave him a squiz from Aunty Karen 🥰

I don’t have a judgey hat but I do have a jealous hat. Or should that be Gel-ous! 😂 I really enjoyed looking at all your pens and I do have a pen collection myself. I don’t have many gel pens though. I do have a WHITE GELLYROLL, I think it’s a 0.7, I’d check but the case is hidden behind all my lovely diamond art things that I bought without thinking of where to store them! 😂 So I need to rearrange all my hobby stuff. Great video as always. x

So happy to see this video today! I have gone down the gel pen rabbit hole! Still trying to decide on my first set and watching all the RUclips videos I can to help with that decision! I’d love your recommendation, both chromatek and colour technique seem to be unavailable on Amazon 😢 debating on just going mad and getting jelly rolls? Any thoughts appreciated! Okay you are the Queen and expert on Gel Pens! Could you do a video on how to get gel pens to work? My pens get air bubbles in the ink and refills and dont work. I have tried heating, shaking, blowing in and nothing works. This is the reason I dont buy backups because by the time I go to use they are useless. Thanks Jody 🇨🇦👋🏻

HIya, another great vid that made me chuckle. as long as you're happy that's all that matters. i have the scibbleicious 60 set, arteza, 2x black barrelled chinese 50 sets and a random 100 set off ebay. BTW love the desk drawers talk about tardis! also the way your desk looked after pulling out all the pens in how my conservatory floor looks now, also love the organiser trays you have with the gel pens, i find it tricky to get the pens to fit through t the loops in normal pencil cases. so whats wrong with the castle arts? are tehy too scratchy? i also found some older gelly rolls and some pentels that still work surprisingly. But anyways enough waffle from moi, i'll let you get on packing away your pens, so keep on slurping. oooh whilst i remember and i know its slightly off topc but would you be interested in a set of 50 brutfuner metallic pencils, i imagine you might already either have a set or not like them ( i checked some of your reviews and couldnt see anything to the contrary). any ways toodlepips.
Hi Becky! Yes, most pencil cases the loops are too tight for pens, I was lucky and couple of years ago got two cases they were sold as "Gel Pen Cases" and the slots are wider, pencils slip out of them. I've also stored gel pens in the cases with the wide elastic, like this:- amzn.to/44k9JW5
There's nothing wrong with the Castle Art pens as such, they're just the same as all the other 100 sets that have 28 Glitter, 14 Neon, 6 Swirl, 17 Metallic etc., and I prefer all glitter sets. Ideally with a wide range of colours.
Ooo I've not got the Brutfuner metallic pencils. I've kinda skirted round metallic pencils in general but not sure why as I've not really used any metallic pencils since I was a kid... and they were always scratchy and disappointing back then 😆

From my experience ive found that with the set ive got of brutfuner metallics they feels as soft as the macaron set did on amazon type paper, They are okay on black paper but i mostly use them for shiny bits in my colouring books, I hope this helps, but understand if you don't wan to get them as you said no more pencils. But surely if someone else was to gift them to you thats not your fault right? LOL Anyways looking forward to part 2 and keep on slurping. Bex

Hey Danette! If you're based in the US you can get your hands on Aen Art and Tanmit which are both great. Over here in the UK, Chromatek are my favourite. Gelly Rolls are great but expensive for using on whole pages. Have fun 🥰

I just gutted out my 10 year collection of gel pens, threw out what no longer worked and gave a bunch (about 700!!) to my son's very artistic girl friend. I'm now verrrrrrry picky about what gel pens I buy and am just starting to purchase a few again. They sure are addictive! 😂
