Under Modiji administration, infrastructure both in Road and Railway is drastically improved. Only concern is to convert most of our 25000 trains to Vande Bharat train with our capacity to make one train a week may take more that 100 years!
Only 1 factory that too fully government one is making the VB trains for now. Newer private players are still setting up their manufacturing lineup. After year or so the manufacturing of train will pick up after those factories are set up.
With respect to Ashwini ji, Bandhe Bharat is necessary, at the same time existing trains also need proper attention. Some trains run late by 4/5 hours, it needs improvement.
This is all impressive and deserves commendation. However, it will be nice if the railways ensure that the trains are kept clean and washed regularly from outside, so that the travel experience on the railways is always a pleasant one.
In addition to regular cleaning by railway staff. It is also important the attitude of the people using the train has to change as a society we need to mature and take pride in our country and society.

While good to hear, the working culture of railways is still totally सरकारी। Till the working culture doesn't become user friendly and safety of goods is not assured, cargo will continue to be transported by road. Transport by road is point to point, quicker, corruption free, safe and overall a better experience.
Sir! You are doing great! I would request to make all new trains entire AC including local Suburbans as our climate demands! Pls don't make any new non-AC rakes. Also fencing of tracks as well as upgradation to high speed tracks is necessary to eliminate any accidents!

Nice discussion. I have slight disagreement with him on Railway privatization. No one is asking to privatize whole of Railway. But what's the problem in allowing Private Train to run as well. You can keep the track, you can also run your satkari train, but private train should be allowed as well. As there are Sarkari busses as well as private busses for inter-city travel. And we chose which bus we want to take. Same thing should happen in railways.
Ashiwini is in a position which demands him to be as much of a politician as much as a manager. Look at the how suresh prabhu was treated for taking the work of transforming railways seriously that he forgot that he is also a politician and has to be answerable to the people. As a politician they have to show work which caters to large number of the poor in this country. Some decisions may look good on paper but if vast majority of poor and ignorant thinks its wrong than politicians can’t make those decisions. Lalu and mamta were exceptional politicians in this regard even if their management of the railway was poor. People will still remember them when they board trains cause they started a few extra garib raths. Now coming to your question. Private trains may give illusion to poor majority that government is thinking more for the affluents. You can see the criticism from the public when they reduced non ac coaches for the more ac coaches. Even if converting all trains to ac coaches may be better decision when on paper but in reality it will lead to protests from opposition and people.
I shall bring to the knowledge of shri Ashwini vaisnav union railway minister that even if a ticket is booked two months in advance, the confirmation is given for upper birth, even if for senior citizens. It becomes almost impossible to travel. I hope a favourable action from the railway minister.

Sir all these rapid development sounds very good but can the Govt also focus on environmental protection and green development, water conservation, decentralisation from big cities, slow down urbanisation (for example the whole Bengaluru rural district has been urbanised). Govt has rampantly increased numbers of medical colleges. But judiciary system is rotten in our country, can the Govt also increase Law colleges rapidly and modernise judiciary and police to bring them upto date and also less corruption and more ethical. As of now travelling by 2A compartment. No water in the western toilet. No tissue paper(train 17604, A2 compartment), disfunctional reading light. Standard of travel has drastically deteriorated. Rajdhani train gives severe jerks. Seats in Vandebharat train are as hard as rock. Not enough to increase trains or speed. Quality matters. Otherwise you loose passengers to sleeper busses & flight.

But pause for a minute and appreciate the fact that it TAKES the insight, perception and most exceptional foresight that is commanded by the one and Only Narendra Mody that have selected these men of exceptional skillset for their jobs. Why average speed of trains has decreased form 50km/hr to 46 km/hr? Even VB trains average speed decreased from 84km/hr in 2021 to 81 km/hr in 2022. VB trains are introduced for the elites and to give them priority, other trains are kept in waiting. When will the tracks be upgraded? Why are collisions and near miss increasing? Why general coaches are decreasing? Just discussing VB, future bullet trains and asking for lofty plans and easy questions will get nowhere.
Maybe less congestion on tracks after covid period lead to bias of achieving more avg speed. You should remember that max speed depends on tracks and signalling but the average speed depends more on congestion on tracks. There are more than 100% trains than the track route can handle on most of the major routes. Some even having more than 1.5 times the trains than the route can handle. You know we still depend on visual confirmation and sensor at the end of the track slot for confirming whether the train has exited the route. Thats why we can only run one train on the track between two stations.

While good to hear, the working culture of railways is still totally सरकारी। Till the working culture doesn't become user friendly and safety of goods is not assured, cargo will continue to be transported by road. Transport by road is point to point, quicker, corruption free, safe and overall a better experience.

I have slight disagreement with him on Railway privatization.
No one is asking to privatize whole of Railway.
But what's the problem in allowing Private Train to run as well.
You can keep the track, you can also run your satkari train, but private train should be allowed as well.
As there are Sarkari busses as well as private busses for inter-city travel.
And we chose which bus we want to take.
Same thing should happen in railways.
Ashiwini is in a position which demands him to be as much of a politician as much as a manager. Look at the how suresh prabhu was treated for taking the work of transforming railways seriously that he forgot that he is also a politician and has to be answerable to the people. As a politician they have to show work which caters to large number of the poor in this country. Some decisions may look good on paper but if vast majority of poor and ignorant thinks its wrong than politicians can’t make those decisions. Lalu and mamta were exceptional politicians in this regard even if their management of the railway was poor. People will still remember them when they board trains cause they started a few extra garib raths. Now coming to your question. Private trains may give illusion to poor majority that government is thinking more for the affluents. You can see the criticism from the public when they reduced non ac coaches for the more ac coaches. Even if converting all trains to ac coaches may be better decision when on paper but in reality it will lead to protests from opposition and people.
That what they tried with TEJAS . Many more private players are interested and as far as I know, government is also thinking on same lines.
I shall bring to the knowledge of shri Ashwini vaisnav union railway minister that even if a ticket is booked two months in advance, the confirmation is given for upper birth, even if for senior citizens. It becomes almost impossible to travel. I hope a favourable action from the railway minister.

Sir all these rapid development sounds very good but can the Govt also focus on environmental protection and green development, water conservation, decentralisation from big cities, slow down urbanisation (for example the whole Bengaluru rural district has been urbanised).
Govt has rampantly increased numbers of medical colleges. But judiciary system is rotten in our country, can the Govt also increase Law colleges rapidly and modernise judiciary and police to bring them upto date and also less corruption and more ethical.
Most importantly population control which will correct lots of problems mentioned above.

As of now travelling by 2A compartment. No water in the western toilet. No tissue paper(train 17604, A2 compartment), disfunctional reading light. Standard of travel has drastically deteriorated. Rajdhani train gives severe jerks. Seats in Vandebharat train are as hard as rock. Not enough to increase trains or speed. Quality matters. Otherwise you loose passengers to sleeper busses & flight.

Why average speed of trains has decreased form 50km/hr to 46 km/hr? Even VB trains average speed decreased from 84km/hr in 2021 to 81 km/hr in 2022. VB trains are introduced for the elites and to give them priority, other trains are kept in waiting. When will the tracks be upgraded? Why are collisions and near miss increasing? Why general coaches are decreasing? Just discussing VB, future bullet trains and asking for lofty plans and easy questions will get nowhere.
Maybe less congestion on tracks after covid period lead to bias of achieving more avg speed. You should remember that max speed depends on tracks and signalling but the average speed depends more on congestion on tracks. There are more than 100% trains than the track route can handle on most of the major routes. Some even having more than 1.5 times the trains than the route can handle. You know we still depend on visual confirmation and sensor at the end of the track slot for confirming whether the train has exited the route. Thats why we can only run one train on the track between two stations.
Modiji is working really hard..rest of India and Ashwani Vaishnav need to learn 😂. I know India is progressing very good under Modi's leadership but marketing Modi in every sentence is too much.
