One thing I’d like to see is a companion app, that at least let’s you see your vehicle collection when you’re away from your console, and ideally allows you to visit the shops, purchase/sell vehicles, and even modify your vehicle. Basically everything except do the actual races.

The game will be old news for them by then and they wouldn't care or want to put any effort into making that happen for gamers. And the FIA thing is nothing but excuses. There are a million ways to make the saves unhackable or hacked saves detected etc. From encryption to proprietary format to check the save for specs that cannot exist etc. They just didn't want to do it.
They're using online data to feed Sophy AI as a training method probably. Assuming by the time this game gets a patch for offline a new GT game is already out. Just my thought
I don't mind some grind, what I hate in gt7 is whole campaign. Cafe is short, gives away cars you could afford for nothing and for the rest you have doing same races over and over again. They added whole weather system that would be great for long races, but most of them are like 2 laps. Every race is catch up race and rules are so open, just got tune up car from all of 3 regions and 3 drivetrains, the rest of the cars are useless. Also, credits for damn lobby races!
I was pretty happy to get a million big ones, as I was broke I bought the gti for the million, These guys are trying to make this game the best. We all make errors. And I think this game was worth it in the long run. I understand. Things happen!
I'm glad I didn't preorder this game, now I can keep tabs on it, see how they handle it, then decide if I wanna buy it. I almost completely dropped the ball on it after such a fiasco but now I'm cautiously optimistic. I'm glad they're listening to the audience for now. Always online is still an iffy deal for me, though. It's not fair that you can't even play the campaign if your internet craps out, which happens a little too often here in good ol' Mexico

You should buy the Front Wheel Drive Nissan GT-R LM Nismo with the million credits. It's actually really fun to drive, as well as a meme and thumbnail material XD. But seriously it's a good car to get used to racing at those speeds
If you haven't tried it on GT7 yet, it is FAR better than it was in GT Sport and before. Less wheelspin. The Michelin tyre technology seemed to help FWD racecars in general

7 is great but we need to keep making noise about always online. At the very least, they need to communicate that the always online singleplayer is part of anticheat, but they also should acknowledge end-of-life and make a promise that people can play the game 10 years from now when servers don't exist.

Well they still call it a live service game. So my biggest issue still stands. But at least I can sell cars now and don't have to grind for weeks to afford a car now and then. I think the toxicity was well warranted. Thankfully the uprising was actually enough to force them to address their own unchecked toxicity. Yes they're given us 1 million credits for the server outage but what if the servers go down again, either temporarily or permanently? Debate it all you want but THIS right here is the problem with games in general going always online.
Im loving the game despite the MTX issues. Still not sorted the R33 boost gauge cluster - the 3 dials in the centre console. The boost is driving the 4wd power split guage not the boost gauge. Trust me i used to have a 800BHP R33 GTR track car before i got old and married. Now i can only afford to drive it in GT lol!
This made me really happy to hear they’ve listened to the fans (the most important opinions ) and are ACTUALLY fixing the issues. This definitely makes me want to keep playing.
This is why the GT series has always been, and will always be the best racing game on the planet. How they tackle issues, pay attention to detail on everything, and create an all around wonderful game tailored to everyone's liking.
I just got the game yesterday and they gave me 1,000,000 credits for this pretty much the first time I logged in (I was doing the music thing as it was downloading though before the maintenance), I too didn't accept it yet because I want to experience the grind as I do my playthrough. Hopefully it doesn't disappear so I can take it in a month from now or something when I'm bored and feel like building something. I personally don't think it's necessary to boost up the prize money, people are mostly upset that the game is always online not prizemoney.
As long as game remains online only, I'll struggle to trust them. My country has terrible internet infrastructure and game disconnects me all the time. I can't even play the game properly despite paying for it.

I'm glad they're adding the ability to sell cars. Forza's shyed away from that, which has annoyed the living hell out of me ever since. To see Gran Turismo is finally adding it back is a huge plus for me! Seriously, with as many cars as the game throws at you, I'm never going to drive them all! It makes no sense to keep them!

i undertand the point in always online to get rid of hackers and save editors, but ps4 jailbreak only work on old firmware version, so you cant even play online with hacked console
All they need for me is to add a shedload more cars, more races and endurance events but the long ones will be a bit interesting without B Spec to take over so you can get a bit of sleep... then catch up again when you get back because the B Spec driver was always slower than you lol
This is why I didn‘t complain and just kept racing. This isn‘t just a yearly released rushed game. If people take a second and think about how much of a „steal“ GT7 is. Like GT7, Call of Duty and Assasins Creed are in the same price range. All I want for them to do next, is improve the online experience a litte bit, EU servers with the players from the middle East and Africa are very laggy sometimes. It‘s hard to judge an overtake when the car infront of you is lagging from side to side.

Was gonna play it regardless because I really enjoy Gran Turismos handling model. Wasnt excited about the grind and am really glad they are taking steps to avoid forcing players into that.
What I wish theyd improve is 2p split screen, right now its really awful its always been quite bad but atleast in gt6 you could use you own cars and easily change the settings for player 2
You can also use your own two cars I'm gt7 but only cars in your garage that you have favourited , just go to your garage and favourite your cars and you can use them for both p1 and p2 In 2p split screen

the main tracks id like to see is sebring raceway and road america. also better payouts on longer custom races would be nice. i did an hour race today and with the win i think i got like 40k. it was for fun and i didnt do it for the money but proper pay for work put in would still be nice
Would love for this to come across to PC. have been playing gran Turismo 4 on pc via emulator. would like to see endurance races brought into the game definitely ( 24hr races e.c.t.) and if not already implemented, special conditions like dirt/ snow races. what would also be cool is if they brought back the "special cars" from GT4 like the Tank car\ Nike ONE car

Must be nice, I can’t even get ahold of the publisher to fix my game. My GT player profile is Lv 12 and it reseted to Lv 1 which is says in the game lobby. So I can’t doing anything on the game. WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY!!! It’s been almost a month since I played it.
I hope they fix the peoples saves that were corrupted by their servers, putting hours into something you love doing and just having it taken a way from you for nothing is a pretty big kick in the guts
Glad they changed their minds because I was going to buy it before I heard about the last update. So I decided to hold on to my money until or if, they fixed it. Im guessing they realized that its WAY too early for them to screw it up since there are still alot of people who haven't bought it. I for one doesn't really wanna pay 75 euro for a game that then "forces" me to buy in game credits to afford cars.
As for me, yes. It is my opinion, but when you ignore all the shit that they have been pulling, the game is great. And, if you do mind the shit (which is understandable), just hold off for a bit and see how, or if, they fix it

Not going to happen! There's a solid reason why it's online only. For FIA to support a digital sport it must be completely secure from being rigged or modified when it comes to official events. Once the game life cycle is up PD will likely patch it then.

No one who’s even been “banned” from Facebook, Twitter, etc would ever allow a gaming platform to unilaterally decide that they can’t play even the career mode of a game they paid for. Always online is a dealbreaker.
I have a feeling they knew there was going to be backlash, so they rolled out the worst of the changes, then brought something back to sweeten the deal and win some favour back. it would explain how they managed to get a turnaround so quickly setup

PD’s always been good for it, don’t think it’s just to win people over. their main focus is racing, art, and car history/related car history, but most important of all they like keeping the community happy.
I bought the game, played it for a day. The servers went down for 30 hours and I demanded a refund for it. I was denied and filed a better business bureau report on them and got a phone call a day later. They gave me a refund for the game which is basically unheard of. LOL
Adding more cars and races, fixing the racing economy and being able to sell cars does make me happy. 🙂👍🏽

And if you get a gift car of a car you already have then you should be able to sell the one you bought.

Look at FM4 through 6 and FH3, those of which didn't have the auction house (as far as I remember). The fact that GT7 is going to re-add back is something that is sorely missed in racing games similar to this.
@@GalmLead Well you could sell cars Forza Motorsport 7 if you didn't know and Forza Motorsport 4 did have an auction and it was gone after that they brought back the auction house in FH3 and from what I can tell is that we can't sell cars in the latest FH games.

No they arent as its keeps modders from fucking around with save data so they can ruin everybodies online experience like on gt6
All they need for me is to add a shedload more cars, more races and endurance events but the long ones will be a bit interesting without B Spec to take over so you can get a bit of sleep... then catch up again when you get back because the B Spec driver was always slower than you lol
This is why I didn‘t complain and just kept racing. This isn‘t just a yearly released rushed game. If people take a second and think about how much of a „steal“ GT7 is. Like GT7, Call of Duty and Assasins Creed are in the same price range.
All I want for them to do next, is improve the online experience a litte bit, EU servers with the players from the middle East and Africa are very laggy sometimes. It‘s hard to judge an overtake when the car infront of you is lagging from side to side.

Was gonna play it regardless because I really enjoy Gran Turismos handling model. Wasnt excited about the grind and am really glad they are taking steps to avoid forcing players into that.
I'm hyped for the updates and am super happy they didn't just give up on it after bringing the servers back like yourself.
What I wish theyd improve is 2p split screen, right now its really awful its always been quite bad but atleast in gt6 you could use you own cars and easily change the settings for player 2
You can also use your own two cars I'm gt7 but only cars in your garage that you have favourited , just go to your garage and favourite your cars and you can use them for both p1 and p2 In 2p split screen

the main tracks id like to see is sebring raceway and road america. also better payouts on longer custom races would be nice. i did an hour race today and with the win i think i got like 40k. it was for fun and i didnt do it for the money but proper pay for work put in would still be nice

Would love for this to come across to PC. have been playing gran Turismo 4 on pc via emulator. would like to see endurance races brought into the game definitely ( 24hr races e.c.t.) and if not already implemented, special conditions like dirt/ snow races. what would also be cool is if they brought back the "special cars" from GT4 like the Tank car\ Nike ONE car

Must be nice, I can’t even get ahold of the publisher to fix my game. My GT player profile is Lv 12 and it reseted to Lv 1 which is says in the game lobby. So I can’t doing anything on the game. WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY!!! It’s been almost a month since I played it.
Now, if they make engine swaps more accessible and add b-spec for 24h races, I think I'd be pretty much, without complaints.

I hope they fix the peoples saves that were corrupted by their servers, putting hours into something you love doing and just having it taken a way from you for nothing is a pretty big kick in the guts

Glad they changed their minds because I was going to buy it before I heard about the last update. So I decided to hold on to my money until or if, they fixed it. Im guessing they realized that its WAY too early for them to screw it up since there are still alot of people who haven't bought it.
I for one doesn't really wanna pay 75 euro for a game that then "forces" me to buy in game credits to afford cars.

As for me, yes. It is my opinion, but when you ignore all the shit that they have been pulling, the game is great. And, if you do mind the shit (which is understandable), just hold off for a bit and see how, or if, they fix it
Ps4 is already looking good amd running smooth. For me not worth the money for a ps5. Flames and sparks at night are beautiful.
@@Aydong2468 If you already have a ps4, than a ps5 investment isn’t worth it, yet, tho I did it and I must say, there is a lot of upsides you don’t necessarily take into account. IF YOU DON’T already have a ps4, the price difference does justify itself, imo. (buying a ps5, that is)

Not going to happen! There's a solid reason why it's online only. For FIA to support a digital sport it must be completely secure from being rigged or modified when it comes to official events. Once the game life cycle is up PD will likely patch it then.

Hay pant love the videos just a quick grind tip it's not your standard one it more old school gt grind if you do the willow springs group b rally evo 10 medium tires stick difficultly on easy put you fule limiter to 4 you can get round all ten laps without pitting and if you can do it clean it's 97 grand it a non thinking race once you have taken over everyone

No one who’s even been “banned” from Facebook, Twitter, etc would ever allow a gaming platform to unilaterally decide that they can’t play even the career mode of a game they paid for. Always online is a dealbreaker.

I have a feeling they knew there was going to be backlash, so they rolled out the worst of the changes, then brought something back to sweeten the deal and win some favour back. it would explain how they managed to get a turnaround so quickly setup
so they knew they were gonna create a game breaking patch...? naw dude.. Everything PD is doing right now is reactionary. All of the changes they are making require no new work. Its not like they are adding cars and tracks. They are adding race styles to pre existing tracks and changing payouts... not hard to do for them
PD’s always been good for it, don’t think it’s just to win people over. their main focus is racing, art, and car history/related car history, but most important of all they like keeping the community happy.
I bought the game, played it for a day. The servers went down for 30 hours and I demanded a refund for it. I was denied and filed a better business bureau report on them and got a phone call a day later. They gave me a refund for the game which is basically unheard of. LOL
