Really happy that we got another banger invitational and shoutouts to everyone involved in production and coming up with the event and making the whole thing happen!
And shoutout to Spargo for his win, REALLY impressive play and just oozing confidence through the entire weekend! Sonix also played real well the whole weekend and these two have really just become the modern day's Leo and Tweek
I love how the lamest characters in this game are the most viable XD
Im dead "we didn't like those guys"
We have to appreciate the great smash being played. But we also need to appreciate the TOs who work so hard to make these events happen. Thank you Charles!
Spargo is the best Mexican player ever!, his victories in this tournament were insane over top players like acola, Gluto, Miya and sonix.
by level he surpass leo very easy but leo have more wins and tourneys in his belt. sparg0 have more way to go
i love to see ZZZZZZonix losing
If Sonix is the necesary evil to defeat spammers characters and Steve, Spargo is the hero that bring peace to the world of Smash. G G
Exactly what you should do to Sonic. Spargo took every tactic Sonix wanted to use and used it against him. Solid mental game and exceptional skill on display. Really glad Spargo thwarted the Steves and Sonics!
Yeah, this win is absolutely deserved. It's a win by mere skill.
Sparg0 shows that no matter aegis or cloud, still beat annoying sonic
Spar🐐 is the best player in the world bro, fuck the rankings
He's super inconsistent, but yeah just because he wins 1 supermajor after a long while, he's the best player in the world okkkkkkk So I guess Sonix was the best player in the world after winning PP8 just a few weeks ago lol
@@ragames7320 Why my comment got you so pressed bro get a life 😂, IMO in terms of skills and fundamentals, yes I do think Sparg0 is the best, cry about it
The whole Top 16 Winners Side was definitely rigged. Nobody knew that Sparg0 would have to fight Acola in Winners Round 1 if he managed to overcome the Gauntlet phase. The TOs just decided to make this encounter happen, same goes for Light vs. Tweek. Start GG tends to spread misinformation when it comes to Invitationals! Luckily, Acola still made Top 4!
@@Cupholder-tI don't think he is pressed... he is just making a logical statement.
If Sparg0 can't be as consistent as Sonix, Miya or Acola he isn't getting back to the throne.
@@Kyselitobut he's saying that regardless of placements or results, he thinks that Sparg0 is the best in terms of fundamental prowess. Which is fair cuz in comparison to characters like Sonic, Steve or G&W, Cloud is a much more fundamental heavy character
あcolaミーヤーSonixスパーゴの4人がTOP4にくるの凄い、やっぱりランキングは嘘をつかないんだな
17:12 They almost started a Pokemon battle here
spargoat seriously on some king shit
So satisfying Sparg0 pwning that lame-a$$ character in such a way.
やっぱSpargoなんだよなー最強すぎる
La comunidad de Smash de Tijuana se siente orgullosa de Spargoat
The first minute of game 4 is the best neutral ive seen in ultimate history
24:04 nice one
Are these videos also with no commentary? Or do I have to keep muting them? 😅
I swear everytime I turn on a tournament stream, these two guys are playing against each other lmao. The greatest anime rivalry
This was a great tournament to watch ! I LOVED IT !
This tournament put Sparg0 back in the conversation of being the best player in the world. Beating the 3 other top 4 players in the world, Gluto (top 5 or 6) and MkLeo. And winning the tournament.
Unfortunately, most rankings will value Acola's consistency throughout this year too much for that to be the case(if that's what matters to you). But that race for number 2 between Sonix, Miya and Sparg0 is unbelievably close.
@@legrandliseurtri7495 yeah ranking wise. But ranks dont say a lot about the present time. That is what I am talking about
Sparg0 is the type of player that can take out top-level threats but loses to lesser threats in bracket if he gets matchup checked or something. Reminds me of Marss, he had a good shot of beating Mkleo and other threats back in the day but he wouldn't always make it to them in bracket. Sparg0's likely the best in terms of skill right now, but his results are not always that consistent unfortunately
@@gerardoortega323yea that’s happens when your character can die at 0 to a kazauya throw playing a character that can just get gimped means sometimes you won’t make it that far in bracket.
used to not like spargo when he was rivals with leo now he’s the only one saving us from cringe😭
Seeing sonix gettin salty was so satisfying to see
I saw those blade beams as a fun way to say "Oh you think you're top tier? Let's test your parry game bro." lol. I'm glad they both enjoyed that battle. Such amazing players.
Spargo. Best player in the world.
Felicidades spargo ❤
Thank the lord spargo defeated the “spin based gameplay”, literally on game 3 I don’t think sonix approached 1 time without spindash, I counted him do it 10 times in a row, it’s no wonder spargo was laughing the whole set, it’s just comical how far a person can get using 1 move
He’s beating the world best Steve, game and watch, and sonic with an honest mid tier:)
Nah clouds high tier but it doesn’t seem like anyone can handle spargos pressure with cloud.
TK at 17:52 has me dying of laughter
I love the Japanese comments here. They’re so wholesome.
The you have the western ones being toxic and shaming one of the players for objectively no reason.
This community sucks(at least online)
look at the tweek and acola set then get back to me
@@7h1nk I just watched it. These two sets are not comparable lol.
Congrats to Spargo! Both players were amazing to watch the whole tournament althoughIdidntwatchallthegames nonetheless they got me routing for the both of them throughout.
I just have to say, from the RUclips viewer's perspective, this has been the best production I've *ever* seen for any Smash tournament, hands down.
The active investment with the attention on the players, people in the crowd, the replays, is like I've never seen, and everything, the volume mixing, etc is just perfectly refined. I can't think of a single thing I would've preferred done differently.
Heck, Imma go buy a Red Bull right now.
キャリーされてるプレイヤーと違ってSonixはトップクラスの実力を持ったプレイヤー
試合は長いが、盛り上がる瞬間は大いにある
それにトーナメントを浄化している。なんで彼を嫌う必要があるんだ?
Even though Cloud beats Sonic the only thing that stops Cloud from just destroying Sonic is his recovery also Sonix is a sore loser
Comentary on this top 4 was f# goated. The spin based game play bit had ne dying
Not only does Sonix have potentially the most toxic playstyle in all of top ultimate, but he also has a bad attitude! What a guy!
Nothing more satisfying than watching Spargo completely crushing Sonic's general game plan and preventing Sonix from playing Sonic's game.
I’m not gonna lie it’s not fun watching Sonic running n running
2019-EVO MkLeo win
2020: no tournament because the COVID

Don’t start this again. It’s Japan
@@humouringg Well, we might consider it since that year's Smash World Tour was canceled
@@xanander4693 The results show the opposite bro but just winning in your own country ( Japan ) doesn't compare much to the results of tournaments with people from all over the world 🧐
@@darkpharaon1230 The last major, port priority had 5 Japan reps in top 8. And for this major, there were 3 here and only two Mexican reps.
Let’s not forgot about smash con 2023 where there were no Mexican reps in top 8 and 4 Japan reps with Acola winning the whole thing.
Battle of BC had 5 Japan reps in top 8 and two Mexican, Spargo won that event but 2nd-4th were Japanese players. Acola, Shuton, and Kameme
So result wise would show YOU the opposite 🧐
Congrats to Sparg0 holding down the fort. This probably the last tournament I’ll ever be interested in after watching smash u since release. The meta of the game has reached a point where it’s just constant frustration from both sides no matter who wins. No more hugging it out, just disdain. Watching small battlefield and PS2 for 45mins straight is just not it for me anymore either. Wish luck to the scene going forward.
No one asked bruh
19:37 how did sonic just go through that blade beam like that LOL
Damn, so close!
Good match Sonix, you're the GOAT!
Lies
Lol, the goat after getting clapped? He was so salty about it too, like, dude, I was camping you should not hit me while camping.
You just witnessed the real goat, sparg0at!
Well he did handle Acola's Steve so hats off to him. But it's also nice to see Sparg0 winning.
Always a good day when sonic loses
Two of my favorite video game characters played by two of my favourite players is a site to behold
This set made spargo my new fav player
Spargo not losing against tricky characters like Steve and Sonic really shows he's the best player right now
Loses to Fox, Kazuya, and Samus. Still needs some practice.
I said it once, and I'll say it again. I love watching sonix lose
16:56〜からのやりとり最高すぎる笑
1分経って歩きから殴り合いが始まるのもカッコいい!
Spargo accidentally pulled out his vape at the end💀💀💀 like “damn I just beat this sonics ass, I’m tryna cheef💨💨” 24:01
apparently it was max ketchum vape lol
These two are so god like that if you don't have even a major under your belt you don't stand a chance
Top level Smash has gone downhill so far. I miss the PT vs Joker days.
It's downhill cause you didn't get the match you wanted? Buddy who are you?
PT is cuh ringe. No thank you. Joker is super cool, but sadly a bit too weak against the smash meta today.
Back when no one knew how to combat Leo's fair 1 and Tweek wasn't consistently hitting Leaf Blade into Vine Whip like Quidd? When everyone was just out of quarantine and playing with rusty hinges in an underdeveloped meta? It was fun and always will be iconic to remember that reign era but the level of Ultimate now is just leagues ahead of what it used to be.
@@ragames7320, Joker is fine. Mkleo just doesn’t train nearly as much as he used to.
@@CrashDAMFCoursebro look at 17:15 on. This is evo grands for smash 4. But we like sparg0 so it’s fine, we didn’t like the other two players… hypocrisy
this tournament shows why last year was better we never get to see horsemen fight anymore other than Miya Acola but it happened a lot back then overall the lack of travelers makes tournaments less interesting
The first minute of the last game had me chuckling
Sonix can be annoying to watch considering it’s very satisfying to see him lose but at the same time, I don’t mind watching these two playing.
While I wholeheartedly agree that Spargo rightfully deserved the win, Sonix’s reactions throughout this match were comedic gold for me personally, lol!!! 😂🤡
Im not gay but like… sparg0s smile is so wholesome 23:59
sparg0 is making cloud look like the hero of smash ultimate, the only one who can beat all the cheesy and annoying characters we don't like lol.
no lag tests here
He can't do these shit to cut out the Sparg0 flowstate 😂
Idc what anyone says, Sparg0 is the number 1!
