So, I'm a week late, but I can assure you that NJHS is not all they say it is. In my experience, though it may be different at Mason's school, the people who run it (including the student officers) are extremely, extremely* full of themselves and don't put a lot of time into their work with NJHS. The service projects are lackluster and the meetings, which for me were an hour and a half every other Monday, were a waste of time and generally pointless. I will say that it helped me do some valuable networking and getting involved with service projects outside of my school which I enjoyed, and they gave me a pin to wear to my promotion, but I promise you that Mason would've made the right choice even if he didn't do sports. It did get me into the high school of my choice (woo!) but outside of a CV or resume, it's not outstanding, nor a truly "honorable" thing.
TL;DR: NJHS, in my experience, had us do nothing of substance and was a frustrating waste of my Mondays in middle school.

Just an idea, thinking for the long haul here - you guys should scan in all the letters from fans periodically so they're preserved for many, many years down the road...just a little idea to keep them safe in the long run. Then, just send them to yourselves in an email or something. Kinda a pain, but it really wouldn't be that big of a file if you put them in a .rar archive :P

I hate the refs at my game they made the worst call in little league the pitcher caught the ball for the first out and then the guy ran without tagging up then we tagged him but then the refs said he missed it and the guy on third scored the tying then the next batter struck out and the man that was on second base went to third then the next batter hit it to outfield and he missed it and the man on third scored the winning run
