I’ll definitely do it one day. Sooner rather than later hopefully. Geez what a shambles that ride will be, everyone following me into the dumb situations I get myself into. Haha epic.
@@The_Apprentice_Adventurer we decided to invite you on a ride instead. Down here on the south coast. We'll let you know when. Keep on keeping on brother 😁👍
That old klr250 brings back memories. My work colleague had one in 1998 same colour brand new. Same time as I bought a brand new Honda XR250r maybe I should have bought the KLR who knows
You should come down my way …fare south coast …both boydtown national parks have a beatiful track that take you straight to the beach’s …the south one is 10 to 30 klm long nice trail ride
Himi Owner right here :D. Ride mine in ZigZag no worries along similar terrain. However although the bike will do it - they are 'soft'. My clutch failed at about 12000km and am now running better quality plates and stiffer springs. My rear suspension was also completely rooted around the same time and am now run front/rear YSS suspension. Yet to test out the rigg properly. Not sure what will go next :S , not much else can go at this point. Only recently discovered your btw content. Love every bit of it!
Haha so your saying they are capable but may fall apart along the way. Yeah the clutch went on this one to, we were able to adjust it to get it working again luckily. So not a complete fail. Top bike though. Thanks for tuning in bud.
I sometimes think about getting a more road bias bike. However videos like this make me appreciate how versatile the DRZ and my 300 Rally are. I'd like more thrills on the road, but you can't beat a dual sport that will get through basically any terrain! It must be so frustrating to explore and then have to back track 🙂
What a beautiful place to ride. Would you have any gpx or google map of this ride? Or at least the names of the locations? I am in melbourne and thinking of a long ride to nsw and have no ideas where to go. Thanks.
@@The_Apprentice_Adventurer The view on the top of those mountains was breath taking, i would love to do that ride with those views. Were can i sarch to ride places like that, srr im new to these.
@@danln5854 mate just punch in the Lost City in Lithgow into google maps. There are many tracks that go to the same place. Easy as to get there as well. 👍
You'll have to organize a subscriber overnighter tag along. We'd all enjoy an apprentice adventurer, adventure ride😁👍

Far out the Himalayan did pretty well!
Absolutely, the rider did really well for someone who had never really ridden such tracks. Very impressive.

They are awesome bikes. Just simply old school. Which everyone loves these days.

SO GOOD TO SEE YOU GUYS OUT THERE

I own a Himalayan and I love it

That’s it mate. Dual sports all the way. It just allows for any type of riding.
Great video. The lack of trees may have been due to the fires back in 2019/20? Very impressed with the Himalayan.
I have been there many years ago and there were no trees then either. It’s a bit of a weird place like that.
Promo video for the Himalayan maybe!
Great video! It's good to see all those bikes getting out there.
Great effort
Awesome stuff, shame I missed the social invite. I'd love to meet up for a ride sometime on my drz if you have any more group rides planned
Sorry bud. It was just a shout out on Instagram a few days before hand. Absolutely jump on the next one.
Drz sounds sooo good 😊
If you're willing to go slow, the Himalayan will get there. They're great bikes.

Hi mate. Sorry this one was just a random bunch of tracks. This was in Newnes State Forest near Lithgow. All the tracks link in with one another.
@@The_Apprentice_Adventurer No probs thanks!
Fantastic trail & ride. Bro do you think ktm 390 adventure is capable enough to handle this type of terrain 👍.
Shit yeah, classic KTM reliability may be an issue 😉 but plenty capable. No dramas with that bike.
@@The_Apprentice_Adventurer Thanks for the reply man 👍
The Himalayan looks pretty cool too and is damn capable, not the best sounding bike, it sorta sounds like a stationary pump engine.
Man you're bad luck to any KLR that rides with you! A footpeg, a clutch cable, and what's next? Can you break 3?
Hahaha shit I know right. On the way home the Enfields clutch was slipping majorly. Got it fix to get home but then His front tyre blew out. 🤦♂️
Hey mate, what sort of sleeping bag do you run for your overnighters in the mountains? Cheers
Mate i generally take my Denali capsule 300 comfort zone 2 degrees. Gets the job done.
Legend, thanks for videos mate!
Whats the track you did called.
Which bit mate?
