- Guillermo Del Toro is back with another haunting adult fairytale, THE SHAPE OF WATER. I saw the film at TIFF17 and was quite taken with it's beauty and darkness. No major spoilers.

Nice review. I've seen Del Toro's "Pan's Labyrinth" at least a few times, and I have to say I'm very impressed. And I really like the trailers for "The Shape of Water', and now I'm hooked. I just wished there was a book about it that I can read, so I'll see if it's just as good.
Rebecca Ashworth I heard recently there is a book coming out of it and it apparently goes more in depth of the story.
there's a book of the shape of water. but it's not what the movie was shot from, the book is available for pre order, it's not out til February.
Very well made movie
It's one of my favs of all time to be honest. I cried at the end. Beautiful movie. :)

im not going to watch it unless it truly is a Hellboy prequel. just a stinger at the end like in split. if they wont tell me then im not going to see it. there are so many parallels with his Hellboy Lore that if it isn't a prequel then he is just copying his previous work. hardly innovative.
