Professional driving by the dustcart driver. Top man we take so much abuse every day every street. No respect .And are treated like imbosiles. Although we are probably the most skilled hgv drivers on the planet
As a Veolia Driver the man filming needs to give his head a wobble. I get this close to other vehicles every single day this is so normal. The title of this video is disgusting it should say. "Veolia driver shows his skill and manages to leave room for other road users to get past & puts up with an idiot in the process like the true professional he is"
I don't get it, He didn't do any damage to the car, I drive a lorry and I'm always having to drive through tight gaps with cars parked in daft places. Some times if you get a long line off parked cars and on coming traffic has priority then you have to just get as far as you can then slow right down and squeeze past oncoming traffic as and when it comes.
As a lorry driver you have to use every CM of space sometimes and it means you get paper thin close to vehicles. But it a all planned and the driver knows exactly what their doing.
Bin replacements from when the bin lift chucks them in the back. We normally use flatbeds to deliver replacements but sometimes when only a few need doing and they are on your round you can take them out and save the flatbed a few jobs.
Oh do get some common sense man!! Where has people respect gone!! This is one of the most challenging jobs and you have to have a lot of skill to do it. God ppl are so annoying these days
Christ there is miles of room between the dustcart and the car, I drive a dustcart in Norwich and we are driving down streets with that gap either side of the lorry, try when its dark in the winter time lol even better especially when cars can't park with their wheels straight when then makes the car wider lol, bang oh dear car tyre just went back because the wheelnuts on the lorry caught them oh well carry on park properly won't happen.
The problem with car drivers is that they have no idea what professional drivers can, and have to do on a daily basis. I'm class 1 and I've regularly had to reverse and drive as close to obstacles as this driver so that entitled Q7 drivers can fly past to get home and enjoy using the things I deliver. Learn to drive an HGV and see how long it takes before you prevent a crash, or even save the life of an oblivious, impatient, entitled, brake-checking tit driving an Audi. Because we do it on almost daily basis. If we didn't there'd be a lot less people like you to complain about what had drivers we are.
They're service bins. You take them to each house. Loader fills them up instead of taking every bag to the truck. Makes a difference when you already walk over 10 miles in all weather everyday.
@@Nappy1987 would you like it If ur bins werent collected. Why are people so disrespectful to bin men considering they are some of the most essential workers on the planet. If we didnt have them then we'd all be living in a shithole

Agree!
I agree with you
Great bit of driving, i'm a recycling truck driver my self and our skill is widely unappreciated. Plenty of muggy car drivers out there unfortunately.
