My rule of thumb recently has been if I’m unsure about it, it’s going back otherwise I just end up with things I never reach for xx
I like the green dress, the denim bandeau too is very nice but I think sizing down will make the buttons stretch and the rust coloured jumpsuit really suits you x

Green definitely is one,of your colours it really suits you. Love the shorts on you I always get a tighter fit because denim always seems to loosen up after wearing them. I liked the vest top with the shorts but the colour could be different it was washed out. Maybe try the denim dress a size up.

You are so right about the XL thing. I’ve worked hard to lose weight and in a plus size I was a size 22 now I’m. Size 10 or 12 yet apparently a size 12 is large and a 10 medium also the sizing of different items varies so much. I get so confused what size to order. Even if you buy a different colour of the same item there is no guarantee that they will actually be the same size

Love the green dress in smaller size, dont be afraid of colour hun it suirs you. The material is important to look at before picking a size. But definitely size varies so much by brand. Shorts need to size up, long flowy skirt with denim top, top is gorgeous, denim dress looks lovely but if not comfortable send back, love jumpsuit. Beige top bit boring. You look amazing❤

I think the denim shorts in a size up, mom style is meant to be a little looser and would be hot in the summer if they are on the tighter side

The beige top will look good when you’ve a bit of a tan, and you looked fabulous when you paired it with the shorts. The green dress will look good when you are a bit tanned too, the colour will pop and I think it suited you, yes definitely needs a smaller size.

Love the green dress, with straps like that once you get the bows right pop a couple of stitches in them to keep them in place. Sew poppers in-between the buttons on the denim top, pair with white teared skirt. Loved them all, my favourite is the jumpsuit a little white short sleeve t shirt underneath would be good ❤

That denim dress is the best item in the haul in my opinion! The dark blue and shape really suits you😊 i would advise sewing in a hook-and-eye closure at the top of the zip if that's a concern for you xx

Also with the letter sizing, I think it’s for more a “universal size” to suit people in between sizes that aren’t strictly a 14 or 18. But most of the times they’re not helpful 🤣🤣

Keep that dark denim dress! The colour really suits you! And have you ever seen that you can get your colour swatches done to see which colours compliment your skin tone/ hair colour etc? Might be worth looking into and would make a really great video! 🤍

Controversial opinion but I say just wear a shape wear body suit underneath, I am a size 14-16 and wear it under anything figure hugging, will just smooth any lumps and bumps.

Loved the denim top…..on the video it looked the perfect size. I would size up in the shorts and the denim dress but size down in the green dress and jump suit. I’m in between sizes and if I can’t get to the store to try on I tend to send for two sizes and then decide which fits me best…can I also say colours look great on you….beige is definitely a no no.🥰
The green dress is a lovely colour so buy another smaller and the jumpsuit is fab just downsize in that aswell x
True sizing is frustrating cos the 2xl racer top was a nice fit but other stuff too big.
I think the majority of the items look fine on you, all they need is someone handy with a needle and some sewing tweaks here and there to be done done x
It’s great you’re trying outside your comfort zone ..love the green colour but too big..shorts need to up a size..denim top and trousers look great and worth trying a size down..jumpsuit looked nice but wasn’t keen on colour..a mixed bag 😊
That denim dress looked flattering on you. the metal zips they put on jeans etc have a locking mechanism you have to ensure the puller is flat down on the zip. Might help although would be a bit difficult when it's on the back. As a staple denim dress that colour is perfect but straps or short sleeves would be more versatile I think. A blouse or top could becworn underneath on cooler days

My rule with ordering from H&M…first of all become a club member for free returns 😂 also, jeans and trousers with a number size, size up. Everything else with a letter size, order what you think you’ll need and a size smaller in everything. It’s the only way!
Thankfully I’m a club member! Good advice with the sizing though, I’ll remember that next time!
I think returning the denim dress is a good idea, it seems that you're not 100% with it and the zip falling down would likely make you self conscious. Definitely size down on the jumpsuit because it suits you! & the beige vest will be great in the summer when you're a little more tan (especially after a holiday)
Definitely size up in the shorts and size down on the denim bandeau and jumpsuit. Wear the denim bandeau with cream linen trousers and black sandals, would look lush.
Loved the green dress but size down shorts are nice the jumpsuit love that but yes size down what a great feeling though that your not the size you was i just cant get my head around slimmingworld i know you have done it and ive been on and off it that many times i dont know what to do for the best x
If you like the neutrals, think of more cool toned like a greige.
Everything was nice but size down. Wasn't keen on denim dress....would love to see a try on shein video as did my first order a week ago and was happy. I'm a 1xl going on 2xl in shein but only brought tops . Xx

In H&M a large is a 16-18 and XL is 20-22 is what I got told when in there.

I love the green dress and denim top on you but definitely size down loose the beige you look lovely in colour …I wore my denim top with some white flared linen trousers ….this whole reason I go in store because sizing is crazy I go from a 12 -X-Large xx try more colour it suits you
I like the denim top - try a size down as l am a 16 & have a few L pieces from H&M - sizing is such a nightmare isn't it! Why not just try some shapewear under denim dress as l think it is so flattering for summer with some tan on! Xxx
Jess the denim dress is beautiful on you I reckon you should keep it. The shorts are gorgeous but maybe a different colour vest top .. beige is a no for us pale ladies but definitely keep the shorts. The jumpsuit is too big but would be nice in size down. Love the green colour on you but not that green dress. Love the denim waistcoat thing (I don’t know what that top is actually called sorry) I thought it was lovely on you again tho size down. Jess you look beautiful in colour. Keep going girl you’ll find your style. However some places offer personal stylist to help you pick out clothing especially colours that suit you. I think pastel colours would be beautiful on you but then again I’m only judging from the point of view of being a pale blue eyed girl also myself. Great video.

The jumpsuit looks good on you, so does the colour.. Not sure beige is the most flattering on your skin, maybe a darker beige perhaps. I watch Melissa murrell, she's a stylist on YT and insta, I've learned loads of tips from her on dressing for your shape etc, she's very good.

Love the beige top and shorts is an out fit looks good.the denim dress need a bigger size I think ,but be a good staple in your wardrobe. Put some seamless pants on then no lines.three jump suit was super see through when you were giggling it around lol size down be lovely.you need a personal dresser ❤❤❤❤

The green looks amazing on you! If people look at you in it, its because theyre thinking about how lovely and vibrant you look. Get a size down. The bows should sit on the shoulders.
I dont think the denim dress is a very flattering fit on you. I think you could find another one that would look much better. It does look a bit tight around the middle too.
I shop in a lot of different places both online and in store and I'm anything from a size 8 to a size 16 & anything from a M to XL. Make THAT make sense. Women's clothing sizes are so messed up and all over the place
I didn't like the neckline on the green dress on you, it looks too boxy. Really enjoyed the video ❤ I liked the shorts and denim top. I wouldn't size down on the denim top as it would be too tight on the middle, maybe try with a really good bra.

I think these days Jess you can’t say your a definite anything because as you said every company have their own sizes so I try and focus on how they look rather than the size label. The denim peplum top is gorgeous on you but defo size down because it’s that stretchy denim.Love the jumpsuit but again size down.Not keen on the dark denim or green dress.The shorts and T-shirt look cool but I would size down one in the top because it looked a bit big at the sides.Sizing can be depressing especially if your say a smaller size in one store than another but it depends on so much,the cut, the material and its quality etc etc.Sure is a minefield.Either way your looking great❤
Those shorts might be very uncomfortable when it's very hot. Id size up if it were me 💖
