Our animal control wouldn't think that the puppy is to thin. I have filed charges against my neighbors for animal abuse. Yesterday I opened my door and a mother pitbull came inside and we found the puppy that she had carried to my house. Fed her and made animal control come pick them up. I live in Monticello Arkansas in the US and people are so cruel to animals it makes me sick.
What horror! In the US that place would be completely shut down, all the poor animals removed, and the owner arrested for animal abuse most especially because there were previous signs of neglect.
@@Goldu2022 A "foster fail" means that the foster family adopts the animal rather than rehoming it. It's great for the animal, but means that often the foster family doesn't have room to foster again, which is what they usually do. 😊
Yes me too..subscribed straight away even though sometimes the results are very sad..but mostly positive..I'm 64 and you'd think l wouldn't be suprised by animal cruelty by now but these people and their behaviour still shocks me..we are supposed to be the more intelligent species..but we could learn so much from animals about loyalty..forgiveness..family values..but no we still treat them like 💩😢
Did they really just imply that they may not help the dog because there's no owner to pay the bill?! That is unreal to me (I know he ended up helping him, but still. How many dont get so lucky?)
In some cases, if more advanced surgery (or medical care) is required than what the SPCA vets have the skills for, euthing is the best option. The rescue could spend thousands and thousands of dollars on specialist surgery at an advanced-level clinic for one animal, with no guarantee of a good outcome. Or help 100 other animals with those same thousands of dollars. Unfortunately, money does come into it. If it bothers you, go to your local rescue and give a donation of a few thousand dollars and designate it for their next animal that comes in that needs an expensive surgery or complex medical care. Save one animal or save 100 animals. That is sometimes the choice.
One time, my parents had a beautiful little dog they adored. Someone opened the gate to their backyard and let her out. She was then hit by a car or motorcycle and a good Samaritan picked her up and took her to the city animal shelter. My dad had just changed out her collar for a new one, but didn't get her tags changed over. She had a broken leg so the shelter immediately euthanized her without waiting to see if she was claimed or "wasting" any pain meds for her. This was before microchipping. My parents called the shelter a few hours later and she was already dead. This was about 20 years ago but we've never gotten over it.
First of all. The puppy. Are people that souless that they would leave a skinny puppy to basically die if it hadn't been found? People amaze me. I know animal cruelty exists. I used to volunteer at shelters. I've seen it. But I just don't understand sometimes how someone can leave an animal looking like that and be ok with themselves. Like take it to a shelter if you can't take it with you. 😡🤬 And the goats and birds. If you have had history of cruelty in the past why do they still have the animals? That I don't get.
Glad the owner with the goats was banned from keeping animals for 5 yrs..mrans those ducks..chicken's and sheep will ho to good homes and away from that horrific place..leave it to the rats..
This is great! But the temprament assessment is ridiculous and does not at all show how the dog will react in real life. That staring into a dogs eyes is threatening is somewhat a myth. Eye contact is something that creates a bigger bond and it releases good feelings. However being confronted by a stranger or someone you don't like is indeed threatening (in that case also/especially looking into the eyes), but it is clear that the dog loves the handler already in this case. The "follow the person" thing is a good training excersice but a very stressed or otherwise distracted dog (some breeds more than others maybe) would not preform well in this to start with. That however does not, at all, mean that the dog won't be a loving companion or untrainable. What should've been done is to test the dogs with strangers, their reaction when resource guarding, unexpected things and of course other dogs, children and cats. Oh and dogs are not wolves (who btw also aren't all about dominance and hierarki) and do not need to be dominated nor do they have a will to dominate, which I've heard in these series before. Dogs need respect, to do what they need and love (like sniffing/chewing/excersicesing), healthy food and a social setting. Sometimes boundaries are needed but not bc they are decended from wolves, just bc it helps make the human world more understandable and we humans won't go crazy from chewed up sofas😅 Aalllllso, shoke collars are not ideal for most dogs and can lead to injuries, especially on the type of dogs spca handles, who pulls a lot and are likely to do unexpected things. The methods in this show are so obviously old fashioned and I just don't want it to come off wrong. The dedication and work these people put in is incredible. Just a bit sad they're doing a lot of it wrong and give somewhat bad advice 😊 I say this out of care only
We must support these organizations and their channels any way we can. They need help saving lives and giving love ❤️.
Please God help these wonderful people continue saving these innocent darlings. Bless them always. In Jesus name Amen
Thank you peter for trying to help this dog with a broken jaw wonderful new for us to hear ❤
I'll never will be able to understand how people (if you can call them that) could treat animals like that. Despicable!
18:50 cute baby! ❤❤

PLEASE LET THOSE GOATS LIVE THE HAVE HAD A LOUSY LIFE X

WELL DONE WITH THE GOATS

I doubt it. The US has very lax laws onhumane treatment. And where the laws are better enforcement is an issue.
Great job guys and gals finding the animals and caring for them. Thank you for the video.
It looks like Blondie has a new home! Even though they are just "fostering" her. ❤
We love a good foster fail! 🐾❤️

PETER YOU ARE A HERO!! Thank you
Shocking indeed 😢❤Thankyou
Very distressing to see the animals condition & how upset the workers were about their situations. I’m so happy all but one have gotten better. 😊🫶🏻💚
Love your vet 😍

I AGREE
2 MUCH SUFFERING HERE GET THEM ALL MOVED AT LAST
We're all the goats, fowl, etc. get rehomed?
Dogs dont fracture their own jaws.
Could have been hit by a car.
How can blood tests show a lack of calcium??? I understood calcium levels in blood don’t indicate deficiency
Why would the dog with the broken jaw life be in danger...fix the jaw and then rehome him!!!
Glad the owner with the goats was banned from keeping animals for 5 yrs..mrans those ducks..chicken's and sheep will ho to good homes and away from that horrific place..leave it to the rats..
He should be banned in perpetuity.
