I work for a construction company that went out and bought 6 dodge ecodiesel trucks and all except 1 has been junk 2 of them are already on 2nd and 3rd motors, and the one on its 3rd motor only has a total of 150000
I drive a Charger Scat Pack and my 6.4 makes 485hp and 475 ftlbs torque. I read these truck 6.4s were tuned to give you an overhaul flatter and consistent power curve.
Its not really "detuned". Its a different motor. Block and crank and heads are the same. Intake cam pistons and rods are different. Even if you had it tuned its not going to make the power the srt8 makes
Drew Olmsted It means that your mobile device doesn't detect text in the text-box so it places the word "null" in there as a placeholder. Null means "having or associated with the value zero.", in other words "zero" text in the text box. If you view this on a desktop computer you will see a "." instead of the word "null".
jb smith Should be in the manual what the engineers recommend. If it doesn't say for consistent towing or heavy towing, then it doesn't matter. If it gives you piece of mind, you can knock a few thousand miles off before they recommend. It definitely won't hurt nothin! And will give you piece of mind.
It's not a bad looking truck, I work with a guy who has the same truck with only 30000 and he wants to trade it in on a new Ford, I told him he should just keep driving it no need for the new one
I just traded my ecodiesel for a 2500 tradesmen with the 6.4, I’m gonna have to get used to not passing a gas station. It loves its watering holes.
How did you like your eco diesel? Any issues
@@aaronm7294 if they could get rid of all the faulty emissions control I would still be driving it.
David McClellan what did you wind up getting as a replacement. Completely torn at the moment
@@aaronm7294 I went with a 3/4 ton with a 6.4 hemi. I don't really have a need for a diesel
My heater isn’t working the heater core is in it and plumbed in but doesn’t blow hot air is it the fuse or actuator on the heater door?
CD player is underneath the center consol. lift twice
+James Maroon Some trucks have that... this one didn't.

I don't even know why I'm watching the video I just bought a F250 with a 6.2 that I love
Elemental Cats lol
Just to see what you're missing 😛😛
More like 9-10 mpg with a 7,000 lbs load. Open highway I get 16ish and city I get 10ish with no load
No surprise. I get 11 unloaded with my Silverado 2500HD gasser.
I drive a 2000 ram 2500 with the v10 gas, you want to talk about fuel economy dont talk to me lol. I get 4.8 in town and 8 on the highway...
I was gonna say 17 mpg with a tailwind haha.
It is sad that the 6.4 was detuned from the SRT vehicles... I mean, 485 HP in a Ram would be awesome (:
Vincent D they should have a high output version but detuning it makes sense to increase longevity

What does null mean?

How come mine pulls more weight than all my friends chevy's or ford diesels?
Probably because they are older diesel trucks..
Yea a detuned work truck haha
Fuck you Fatty.
I pull a 5th wheeler when should i have my transmission fluid changed?
