They aren't actually poor, they have organic farms which can provides them food for years. They are just living life to the fullest. I wish I could spend my vacation atleast once with them.

Some of the mothers in this country force their sons to sleep with the local land lords or taliban commanders for money , these kids are underage , i don't know what percent of little kids are forced to this but I think 10 %
Saw the video of this family after a gap of many months.
The eldest boy has grown into a young working man, the middle sweet one has grown taller, us helping his mom and the youngest cute baby has now started walking all around !! So glad to see this family again!!Their living standard seems to have improved !!

It continues to amaze me that virtually all the comments are so positive.
Has anyone checked out the life expectancy of rural Afghanis? It's just 65 years, the rate of poverty is sky high and their crime rate for the country is the 4th worst in the world.
If these people had an alternative to living the way they do - for example in housing with indoor plumbing, heat in the winter, running water, ETC, does anyone think they'd really CHOOSE to live where and how they do?
Maybe this family is higher class. Rich people always have good life quality😂 no matter in what nation.
They own large goat herd that poor peasants cannot have. So maybe they are richer than average rural afghans.

Closed the border. I grew up very similar and today I’m ok came to the USA met a good guy but EVEYRONE in my family did great is just bad times but not really hard to explain to Americans for them a bad day is your charger not working lol

Hi, maybe you could drive your herd to another place regularly and let the soil have some rest. I notice so little grass on the mountains and it’s so sad😢. You have a large goat group and maybe it’s not suitable to stay at one place for a long time. By doing this you will get more fertile land, which brings more farm produce and protects your house from falling gravels. Hope you and your kids live a healthy and happy life!
