Far better charging Curve, thank you Chris for testing this. Australia sounds like the premium trim level only has an option of 19" tires no 17" but still waiting on the launch to confirm that, only have preliminary specs yet.

Nice improvement compared to the old Kona. Not only the charging curve but the car feels much more up to date in general. 👍

Got a great deal on last of the old shape still 2023 Kona EV 64kwh ultimate trim uk. I only charge at home on 7kw charger or Tesla superchargers and I often see 82-85kw speeds to about 70% then it drops to about 48kw. I unplug at 80% so only ever 30-35 mins and often at only 5 or 6% when I need a supercharger. I do know when I have used a BP Pluse 150 it's only got about 45 maybe 55 kw max but at Tesla superchargers always pretty quick.
UPDATE: Unsure but i did have a new charging control module when a very minor accident ment new front bumper, and new charging controller weather that made it any different. Definitely hit 84kw speed last time I charged at supercharger

I dont know what are "actions" at vw dealers in Germany but TODAY IN CROATIA Skoda Enyaq got 12 000 to 18 000 EURO DISCOUNT, and yesterday Ford Mach e GT got 35 000 euro discounts, from 95 to 60k euros. So prices are going down. Your Id7 is 52 thousand base model starting price. Just saying, prices are coming down

Hey Chris, can you also add the actual charging times, or film the time also in future videos?
Were the 40 minutes displayed by the car real? I happen to find out that they're either more, either less

This charts with kw in % have no benefit, kWh added over x min is what matters.

I have Style version now with 17" tires. If i buy one now, i would order it with Style version again. But i can't choose the size of the tires now, so i would get 19" tires. :( And it means 6% less range, then now. The charging curve is better, but not good/enough in 2023.

It’s a shame there is not an option for smaller tyres on all trims. I would rather have more range than bigger tyres. Stupid decision Hyundai.

How long are these sessions? Without a timer on the charging session portion nor a time-to-SoC graph, I can’t figure out what the implications are of the charge curve nor what the real world comparisons look like. So does the ID3 leave the charger at the same or before or after the Kona and how many minutes is the total and difference?

I've heard that there are some problems with the 217hp 65,4kwh batteries version and they switched to the old 204hp and 64,8kwh battery. Does someone can confirm this? I'm trying to order the new Kona and only the 64,8kwh with the 204hp is available at the dealer as the more powerful version.

Is this the 48 kwh or 65 kwh version ?
It seems the max rate is capped at 74kw for the lower spec ?

IMO its time to stop measuring that and adding something more useful like time to add (say) 150-200km/miles.
