@vertexeffects hey Mason, when do you presume we will get these interface boxes in? I ordered one through Sweetwater about 6 months ago. I understand the problems everywhere..Not complaining just wondering if you know anything. Currently waiting on finishing up a board. Thank you ~cheers John
Did the boards change sizes with the same sku and no update? I ordered the Travel Plus in January of 2022 and it's 20x11, but now my order history on Sweetwater shows my receipt reflecting the 20x11.5 size which would've allowed space for a dvp mini volume which would've been wonderful.
Hi, thanks for your interest! It really depends on the specific pedalboard, but in most cases, the power would be sold separately. We do have some bundles available that combine pedalboards with power supplies - here’s an example: www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/PedalbrdKtV1--pedaltrain-basic-pedalboard-kit-with-voodoo-power-and-ebs-hp-cables Feel free to contact me directly with any further questions, and thanks again! So there is a minimal difference in price between two-tier big and small (29x15" and 17x10") options, which is only a $50 difference for a drastic amount of pedal real-estate? Also, I don't even see any of the I/O module options available for purchase at the SW or Vertex FX website. Am I missing something? Maybe the $350-400 cost could be justified if it came with the module mentioned and a better system to lock down pedals. This seems like something a custom pedalboard builder may use as a base (with lots of retrofitting to do), not really a consumer level product. At least that is how I see it :)
Really any more than 6 pedals just get a multi fx. All those patch and power cables plus velcro nightmare lol . That being said I have a pedal problem lol.
I hear ya on that but the multi effects, although a great utility Swiss Army Knife, don't always represent their analog equivalents quite as well. In particular with distortion, overdrive, and some of the more lo-fi analog pedals of the 70's and 80's. We've come a long way with digital modeling, but there's still a difference for use pedal geeks :)
I love both, but I see that most studio guitarists, session guitarists, working pros, at least 8x as many of them are preferring physical pedal board rig builds with their choice of pedals versus saying "helix delays, fine, that's my delay, helix drives, fine that's my delay, helix amps, fine that's my amp". When we see Rhett Shull sell all his pedals and say "my pedal board is now a midi pedal into an ipad", and Josh Scott tell everyone to go home, because pedals are over, then I'll believe the pedalboard is over. Not until then. Almost nobody has room on their pedal board for eight kinds of chorus, ten kinds of phasers, seven kinds of tremolo and vibrato and detune, and for that UTILITY role, I see a lot of pros with an HX STOMP on the board, or an H9 MAX. Boom, your 10 sound pedal rig is now an 80 sound rig, but the core 10 sounds are the ones the pros are obessing over endlessly. It's what keeps them happy to do this and make music. So let em do it how they do it.
No just a brand new amp company with newly created fx pedals. Idiots like you want to act like he was playing acoustic with no technology what so ever.
I guess, Gilmour was wasting his time then ^^ I can bring about a gazillion number of musicians who are using pedals to great success. Who gives a shite how to achieve your desired sounnd, or what inspires you? If you're one of those STRAIGHT to the amp guys then go for it by all means! But why do you want to convert everyone to your own guitar dogma? wth? ...
Msm423, well...if you think about it back in the mid to late 1960's Hendrix used, Fuzz Face, Uni Vibe, Octave, and Wah (4 pedals), when there were only about 10-12 pedals available in the marketplace during that time. By that ratio, in 2021, he'd have a pedalboard with about 500 pedals on it. Food for thought :)
This Vertex dude is trying toooo hard to be honest... He is one of those overly ambitious, greedy and jack of all trades kinda hyperactive doing all, and nothing at once. Just be yourself dude and be authentic for once...
Is honesty on a sliding scale based on how hard you try? Isn't it just honest or dishonest? And if this is a dishonest presentation, what about this product was misrepresented or inaccurate? Have you seen one of these pedalboards in person to make that evaluation? Who is the gatekeeper for authenticity? You???
Vertex Effects tour-ready pedalboards are better than ever with the release of MKII! What pedals are you going to load one of these boards up with?
These changes are all smart and show that Vertex Effects is really on the ball. It's a great incremental improvement.
Very. Great upgrades, another great video sweetwater🤘🤘🤘
Heck yea, hope to get some in your hands :)
Keep up the great product 👍
Thanks Ra! We tried to take the feedback on the MKI version and really apply all of it to MKII!

what are the 3 holes on top of the pedal board?

Are buffers/power all sold separately? Or do any pedalboards come with the electronics?

These look great! Also treadle rhymes with pedal (convenient).

what gauge metal are the boards?

Better lighting would help with contrast. Hard to see exactly what you’re talking about.
nice try, josh dion. you're not fooling anyone.
If only I could play drums :)
this guy seems as shady as Rob Chapman.
Man, this is a lot just to play electric guitar. Hendrix didn’t need some over engineered pedalboard to change music forever.
