Been listening to ur sermons for years, God brought me to ur site. Appreciate ur God inspired sermons, also came from very dysfunctional childhood, then to have found a pastor also from dysfunction I can totally relate. Most pastors were second and third generation. I get it…my mom in her worst years of alcoholism used to listen to Pastor Vendon on the college radio station in the 70’s from Santa Rosa..it was her lifeline, she’s been sober 38 years now and when I saw the difference in her, I got clean and sober 36 years now. Love Ty, his message, and the Storyline Church, they have been a lifeline for me too. ❤️
Morris Venden's book, "To Know God" is one of the best ever to understand righteousness by faith. But all of his books are about that anyway. A wonderful man. I met him in the 80s at a camp meeting in Brisbane, Australia. A friend and I invited him to luch, thinking he would be otherwise occupied, but he was gracious and accepted. Then when we told others, we ended up having a whole bunch of people set up tables between tents and we had a veritable feast. After that we drove him to the Sunshine Coast on a youth outing, and it was wonderful to talk to him in person. Sadly, he couldn't appreciate the wonderful views because his eyesight was very poor. I got him to sign a stack of his books that I had. He was very patient! LOL
