They should build a canal from S. Chandler or the Salt River that goes all the way to Tuscon along the east side of the I 10. Plus a canal to Wilcox from the main canal and one to Casa Grande. Of Course with controll valves and gates in the canals. Plus smaller canals for farming irrigation and water treatment plants were needed along the canal for potable water. That way those areas will have water for farming and a water supply to turn into drinking water.
Wah!! Great for the environment, horrible for us magnet fishers. I remember this spot. The very first day I tried magnet fishing, i went to this exact canal and saw the bulldozers in there. I was so bummed.
Trolleys are a staple of the canal system. I don’t know why kids/people think it’s funny to dump them in there, but they just do and it’s not a true canal trip without spotting a few or hitting a few of your boats that were partially submerged.
First off, I’ve always wondered how deep it is Second, I know exactly the reason why those carts are in the canal. It’s fun 😂 I’m not saying I condone it, but at least 10 of those are from me

The same in Paris, France
So many shopping carts; what's wrong with people?
Basically, it is from homeless people. They use shopping carts to move around their belongings.

My curiosity is greatest for the things they won't tell us about...... plenty of treasure
