Am I the only one who thinks Lily and her mom's dynamic is odd? I totally relate to having an emotionally unavailable mom also. I can just tell they're both hurting in different ways. I don’t know them, but I think they’re probably both on the spectrum. Lily is an oversharer and probably craves emotional connection but doesn’t know how to do it in a healthy way because her mother is very passive. I have a degree in psych and have taken courses specifically on ASD, and they both ring very high on the signs of ASD.
