How is the input lag for games on the NES?

We had this console, and it got a lot of use in the house. Kids love it. This console got really warm during use and eventually didn't turn on anymore. Husband took it apart to see if he could fix it, and the inside was cooked. Purchased the Super Console Cube X3 to replace it because it has a cooling fan, (fan is quiet and keeps it cooler) and its been working great.

I got mine about to months ago and im absolutely loving it. I got the x3 version because it has the fan. But they are all the same i think. I think its great that you dont have plug it in to a pc.
I bought it last year and play it all the time.
Its a cool little console, I remember Pdubs got one of these to work with the ALU but maybe newer firmware or newer SCX it doesnt work easily? I would buy it for sure if I could use it with the ALU though.
Hey Mike quick question . Is this device one where it could just plug into a tv and pretty much plug and play? Meaning no pc needed? Or is it like a hyperspin drive or launchbox drive that you have to load onto a pc? I would prefer it just be plug into a tv. Let me know thanks. I have all this on my Pc playing via launchbox. But would like one for my living room tv that is a 85 inch , but I have no pc there. Hope this just plugs into tv with no need for a pc. Thanks
Yup, it just plugs directly into the tv
I have the X Pro version myself, it works great (with a few exceptions). Sooner or later, I might just upgrade to the X Cube I think it's called (the one that looks like an old NES), since that one has a cooling fan in it to keep the board inside cooled down.

Ok i just got this console, BUT, it came with one of those amerian 2 pin adaptor plugs, so i was wodering can i just buy a UK/EU universal 3 pin adaptor and use that?

Bought this for a lad with downs. Hes abit rough and breaks things straight away normally. But this things still going sting about 3 years later.
One of the best pruchases in my 23 years of living. INCREDIBLE value and emulation. You are at LEAST garuanteed a perectly emulated, FULLY included library for both nes snes and genesis. Right there would cozt you hundreds of thousands of dollars physical

Just spent way too much time making sure certain games were on this, just to find out it wasn't the Super Console X, it was the Super Console X Pro. The uploaded had two different titles on it so it was confusing. Can you tell me if this is the SUper Console X, and if these games are on it.

Are you able to upload additiaonl ROMS to the various emulators , or is the Super COnsole X locked, like you get only what comes in the box? Lastly, can you port point and click or even type based DOS games to it?
the power button design for you switch off its not sensitive, good built quality, but switch off by control settings 1st

It works on my ALU mini, but good luck with ALU
I don’t know why, it used to work with the ALU
I was hoping the controlers were configure out of hte box. I tried to use this but I cannot even hardly get any buttons to work. This playstation control is not configured to any way I know how to use it, It so bad that I just guess I will give up and send the game back.

Do the ps1 games have their music? A lot of these boxrs dont include music for the ps1 games to save space

Just been downloading the roms for the ps1 games I want to play so they have the music. But the file file size will go from 30 mb to 300 mb. Thats why I'm only doing to to the games im going to play

this box might as well called playstaion box its got all the cool ps1 titles warriors rage, street fight zero 3, rurouni kenshin 3d game its all the gems of ps1, if want ps1 games get this

Stay away from this Console so many games wont run or struggle to run i.e N64, Gamecast and PS1 even 8 bit stuff wont run, and its down to the crappy sdcards used they get corupt so easy and mess up your gaming pleasure trust me I know. Even the X2 and upto the X4 due to hardware issues struggle to emulate the high end consoles just be careful
If anybody is thinking about buying this dont, its a cheap piece of junk that will break within a month if not sooner
Nah I've had mine for over a year
I’ve had mine for almost 5 years. Modded several times and works like a charm. Do upgrade the controllers if you do plan on getting. Great cheap way to play 1000’s of classic games. Many games are buggy but you can adjust the emulation software for each title which helps at times. If you don’t have the time to build your own emulation system, this is a great way to go to get a retro gaming fix.

The real problem is that most of these cheap Android boxes come "preloaded" with viruses, keyloggers and other kinds of malicious software once you connect them to the Internet. Hope RUclipsrs will investigate it more in the future 🙏
