Retro hammer spam with an ability that basically makes it into vineboom except you can control where they get flung AND you can use it every 5 seconds. BALANCED
Jet didn't really fill the whole map with gloves, but instead when you use your ability on a player, the jet comes and throws slaps at them which do default's knockback, but rapidly.
The issue with Jet that Tencell had no power to fix, was avatar cosemetics. Basically, if you had a box covering your avatar the slaps that the jet rapidly fired would hit the box and not your avatar, so you wouldn't get knocked back, however, if you did get hit by a jet you were basically dead because it just sent you across the map.
There is this bug where when you are on someones leash you can not reset, I do not know if that problem was connected to link not being able to reset, but now the only way to escape a leash user if you are leashed is to leave or wait until the leash user gets slapped. Also, glitch is broken right now too, the glitch ability keeps you up in the air for another 5-10 seconds, so once you get back on the ground the glitch user can immediately use their ability again.
Whirlwind actually got more changes than that. In the sparky update it got that huge nerf, but this time whirlwind sent you FORWARD and opponents BEHIND you, kinda like pull glove; then, in the tinkerer update, this change got reverted and now knocks YOU back and other players; in the Halloween update it actually got its only buff as of today, where its cooldown decreased from 15 seconds to 12 seconds.
I just remember playing slap battles in the whirlwind update and just getting demolished and demolishing people with whirlwind. Another thing is that the rattlebones "nerf" was in the rob update where if you sit on top of him you can control him.

Good video but you forgot to talk about Psycho so I'll do it for you: We know Psycho has a double jump float that makes you immune to slaps and prevents other KB sources from launching you right? Well when it was first release you could SLAP DURING THAT so basically you can dash around the map at super speed completely invincible with a short cooldown and when someone gets hit by you, you can dangle them next to an edge and knock them off. Basically its a one shot but you have an invincible dash where you can slap people with. Streak gloves were UNPLAYABLE if you had a Psycho in your server. Now it's just a good mobility and escape tool but Psycho is still basically death if you get slapped by it so it's still really good. TLDR: Used to have Invincible Dash that lets you one-shot anybody you hit with basically no cooldown that's now just a Mobility/Escape tool
from that one day they nerfed whirlwind i was heartbroken because although the glove was insanely broken it was fun to use at the same time (its still somewhat fun and good to use sometimes)

They should nerf overkill so you have to activate an ability that lasts 30 seconds, and when the ability is on, it acts as normal overkill, and 30 second cooleown
the pictur of jet glove you showed is the old power of jet, it used to shoot gloves like a mini gun at you from a jet (i think im not sure) then it got change to a missile
fun fact you were not able to get link gloves passive upon release have no dea when they nerfed it but now you can get rid of link passive by slaping other people
i feel like, out of all of the nerfs, whirlwind was absolutely sent 6 feet under. i think whirlwind should've pierced thru 3 players before doing the self-knockback thing

(shard wasn't that good before) But then it got nerfed to a reasonable speed Oh yeah and BOMB during the christmas update of 2023 BECAME A PROJECTILE NUKE. It flung people off the map easily and you could bomb jump more than half may across the main island. (It then got nerfed)
I have the most incredible anecdote about Slap Royale, one day it was quiet, and a glacier killed a lot of people, after 3 were left it made someone unable to get up, because of its bug Then he did the same thing to me, but I was on the beach, and by miracle I reached the canyon, and that made it possible for me to get up and kill the glacier
Hi nonsens thank you so much for making me play slap battle again i have a story (So i start slap battle in chirtmas update 2020-2022 and i really enjoyed it but at one point slap battle got really boring for me and i start quitting it i dont played slap battle anymore untill i found your video that what makes slap battle fun again after i watched it i come back to slap battle again after some months i realized that i had boring gloves and that's the reason why i didn't played anymore)
Ok, I understand these nerfs however, I got some beef with oven. Even if the Knockback got shorten, the cooldown inside the oven is pretty ridiculous. The ability is also pretty spammable. So if you were to target someone… It might not kill you but it prevents it from being able to play the game in peace :/
Retro just needs a longer cooldown, and the sword should be an ability that gives you the sword for 10 seconds and have a 10 second cooldown, in fact every ability on retro should be 10 second cooldosn
I’d say retro is still a top 5 glove in the game because of the long sword and bomb jump, while the ban hammer was nerfed sure, it’s still op and has the same knockback.
To be fair, I only used retro to deal with annoying-ass oneshot users (such as the occasional OK user with 2-4k slaps) and seeing the ban hammer get a nerf that bad made me ponder my life choices. And if Detonator ever gets nerfed, oh if it ever gets nerfed...
jets pre "nerf" was really trash it was originally named "pilot", cause one of tencellls friends channel was named pilott. and it was really easy to dodge all you had to do was move in the opposite direction and keep jumping. glad it was buffed the image that you found was bugged. upon release pilots gloves wouldnt disappear. making gloves stay on the map forever but wouldnt kb anyone. just a visual glitch, that would be fix 4 hours later
Glacier is still a horrible glove that does not fit into Slap Royale but instead of Tencell removing the glove he nerfs it. He needs to either rework or remove it bruh.
