Tbh the groove of this song would probably be improved with a banjo. There is basically no bounce in this rhythm, it just sounds like a mandolin plucking away. If you listen to the Ultimate Pickin Series version with Scott Vestal you'll get what I'm saying.
@@geordiehalma7323 When the banjo is played well in balance - wonderful. When it's hammer time - my ears start to bleed. Difference between a trampoline and a banjo? You take your shoes off when you jump on the trampoline.
@@quigley4440 Lol, that's a good one, and yeah, if any instrument is played poorly it would be better to leave it out of a mix. A banjo can drown everything else out is the biggest difference.
