- Yet another POTA video where things don’t go to plan completely. I decided to stay at this park and get as many FT8 contacts as I could before the family got back home.

I watched and got a bluetti solar gen and panel on sale. It does 12v/110, USB-C for picky phones, Wireless charging from the top.... LOVE it. It can pull 10a too, so I'm going to try running my G-90 from it as backup.
What's the specific coil/base/whip combo youre using from wolf river? I looked on their site the other day and there were more options than I expected!
Sorry for the late reply. I’m using the Silver Bullet 1000, Mini pod legs, and the MFJ 1979 whip antenna. Also, using the standard 3 radials it comes with.
Initially, I had the SOTA Special and then bought the other pieces. Personally, I think the SOTA special is fantastic as is but I wanted to try and get into 80m more and was experimenting with the longer whip as well.
I noticed that your delta time is off by more than a second. Have you considered a GPS for time synhronization?
Funny enough, I purchased a USB GPS module to correct time issues.

Joe, what's your laptop and how is battery life?
It’s an MSI gaming laptop, battery life is poor. 2 hours max roughly.
