OMG I just rewatched this movie today after a long time and I was like... wait, is it just me or is there some kind of tension between Caspian and Ed? And I'm glad(?) I'm not the only one who thought so! Because obviously in the canon, Caspian and Susan had something. But him and Edmund... Very touchy and close, lots of meaningful/charged looks exchanged, and in particular that hug near the end had me feeling some type of way(?) though it probably wasn't intended that way. Also they seem to have a pretty good emotional connection too; they can be vulnerable with one another, like Caspian opening up about wanting to find his father growing up. I know it's not that deep but... why do I feel like there's lowkey better romantic tension/connection between these two, who "see each other as brothers", than between Caspian and Susan? Or, at least, the romantic tension (well I see it as romantic) feels more natural than with Susan. Something like that. I knew I couldn't be the only one who saw it a different way!
I just found out about this ship last night and it has consumed me so much I’m writing fanfic about them😂

they aged up caspian a lot in the movie - in the books he's about 16 in dawn treader. but remember that mentally, edmund is a 25(ish) year old in a 17(ish) body.
