As promised, this a retelling of our first video we ever published here on RUclips. Our first meeting in Manila, November 2017, about 7 years ago at this point! There is also a nice little surprise at the ending of the video for those that stick around and watch the entire story 😉

Leaving after that first trip was the hardest thing to do. We also got a ring before I went home and we actually signed a bunch of paperwork for the fiancé visa application so that we didn’t have to mail documents back and forth for the original signatures. We were back together after only 8 months of waiting for her visa. We’re just about 7 years married now.
Same for me and my husband. As of Febuary it's 7 years. Edit: it was February of 2023 that made it 7 years
We had started the paperwork after I got back to the US. Only to have a 4 and a half year wait for her to come to the US 😅 it's alright though, good things, always to comes to those that wait 😁 Congratulations too btw! ❤
@@ScottDivine14 4.5 yr wait....wow. Was only 1yr wait alone in usa for me. Though before that live in Morocco 7 months helping him with his morroccan papers.

My man broke down even he was still on his 2nd day of vacation when I told him I'm gonna miss him. We met for the first time last month, and he was just here for a week. And we were barely three months into our relationship. The connection was instant, and we're just so compatible. Now we're doing the paperwork work for my K1 visa. When the person is the one, it feels certain.

I met my girl in Sept. since I own my business we chat video at least 8 hrs a day. She is a province girl and never asked for anything. Here we are 3 months in and I take care of her by choice. I’m going there for 30 days and 30 days in December. We are soulmates. You guys make me so happy. What’s funny is my girl acts like the hubby and I act like the wife lol

@@ScottDivine14 that's true , my wife and I chatted online for two years before I even went to meet her , and I spent only two weeks in Manila , but the experience of it all , and when we spent that time together , it was absolutely the best decision of my life to marry my sweet little Filipina gal and we have been happily married for 13 years now , and will be together until "death do us part" ...... It is a long hard process for sure , even after my trip to Manila it was another year of waiting before her visa was approved ..... It's not easy , but 100% worth it ...... A LOT of people miss out on this kind of Love nowdays , they have more of a "hey I met you in a bar I think you're hot , I'm in love" ..... I feel sorry for them really , they don't know what they are missing ...... The kind of love you have , we have , took dedication and commitment , years of bonding long distance , and just like they say going to the gym "no pain no gain" , it's kind of the same with these relationships , there's a lot of pain , but tons of gain once it's done ...... best wishes to both of you

I'm in the beginning stages of the same thing.
I have been in a ldr for a while now. We met in June while she was in Texas. I traveled from RI to meet her. She works in Manila and I'm going there in 1 month. We will spend Valentine's together. Leaving will be the hardest thing to do, but we will start the K1 visa and meet again.
