That's great! I never thought to call them, thinking like you they wouldn't do anything. I use to coupon there every week, but recently rarely go because there is always an issue with their coupons.

That's great I called before when I was suppose to earn coupon for spending certain amount the times this life a year or so ago and they gave me giftcard in mail, was great and came pretty fast

I've learned the hard way that you should ALWAYS, ALWAYS, AND ALWAYS void a transaction if the total doesn't come out the way you expected it to be.
This is why I get agitated shopping at Dollar General because this happens just about every time I shop there. I still get a pretty good deal, but I’m always screwed with something and some kind of digital not working.

This is why I stopped going to dg because I would get frustrated! Plus where I live, the people aren’t friendly and they would only have 1 cashier on a Sat!! I called the manager once and complained about their employees being rude! They don’t like couponers! Lol
If things does not match my total on my phone, I always ask them to void it nicely or I will come another day, return the items and do a fresh transaction.
Couponing issues we all have had them what the issue is not resolving the issue.
A couple months ago I used a digital coupon that didn’t come off at the register like it was suppose to. I called Dollar General’s Corp number and explained what happened the Rep looked into it and she said the coupon should’ve definitely came off, she escalated the issue to be fixed, they apologized and ended up sending me a $10 dollar general giftcard.
Although the small spaces are the same scent, they appear to have different packaging. It could be that they have different upc & thats what caused the issue? 🤷🏽♀️
Yes. Even the colors of liquid are different. It could be one was older and was discontinued due to new packaging and because it is older does not work with all coupons anymore

I did this deal with the spray on a new system and it worked but didn't use the 5 off 25..

One time, and one time ever did I contact Dollar General customer service about a coupon and it took a couple of days but I had a refund on my account that showed up as three dollars off my next purchase of $3.01 or more. That was how they fixed it

I hate Dollar General. I only go there if the deals are really good. I had a bad experience during COVID in 2020. Turned me off from couponing there in general. I also only have one Dollar General in my area. It usually doesn't have the items I want need or want. I have started going again this year but only when I have the patience to scan everything. I can't tell you how many times a coupon doesn't come off because I didn't scan it and confirmed it was attaching.
I had an issue with Dollar General a few years ago where my coupon didn’t come off and they sent me a $ 5.00 gift card.
I heard that the small spaces are no longer attaching to the 3.30 but the sprays, plug-ins are

One febreze looks older packaging ...I would have scanned each one individually and see if both coupons apply on each one ..the SKU numbers might be different

Both of those stores have non existent inventory in my area, add in the trouble I have with rr and digital coupons, I have given up totally on shopping there.
Could you give us the number you called? The last time I called DG customer service I was on hold over 50 minutes and just finally hung up. I used to like shopping and getting deals at DG but when ibotta got in control of the digital coupons I only shop there is the deal is easy or pick up necessary items. I just feel I can’t trust the pricing, how items are totaled, or that coupons don’t apply correctly. I miss the good old days. But there are plenty of other stores and rebate apps that I use so it’s fine.
The $5.50 for BOGO is acting like an instant savings so for it to stack with $5/25 your total would have to be $30.50
Yes, I accounted for that. The issue here is the mfr didn’t come off. $5 off $25 worked just fine.
I’ve heard that even the store coupons are being like an instant saving in the newer system.
I never use the list. It’s hardly ever accurate for me.

I’m glad to find out I’m not the only one. It’s crazy. They lie a lot. Do know how other people said it’s a wonderful store. Well not at this end. Try to follow all the details and still don’t work.

I've had this problem before and I've emailed them it's taking a while to get back and I've gotten a DG gift card in the mail plastic
I know in the newer system the math does not work or some coupons don’t come off. Usually I go to the old system because usually my math comes out great.
This was an old system store 🤦♂️😭
I've noticed that as well if I go to our new store the math don't math but if I go to a older store it's great makes no sense
They should have to correct it if you catch it before leaving
A couple of stores around me are good about correcting issues with digital coupons. And then some of them aren’t. I scan every single item. With my diligence, most of my deals work out. I would say upwards of 95% of the time.

My buy 1 get 1 frebreeze didn’t come off. I asked the cashier why my 10 off 40 didn’t come off so she changed prices on some items to make up the 10.00. Then it voided my coupons. It was frustrating. Dollar general is always a problem.
I did this Febreeze deal and both coupons worked (came off) without a problem. But a couple of weeks ago I had a situation when the shopping list applied a coupon, but it did not come off at the register. The store manager said that the list is different and may be works at new systems, but not old ones.
The last digital coupon which did not come off for me and I called DG customer service and I was denied. Another time I called, I received a gift card since I was in the right. Happy to see you are getting a gc from DG.
I did the febreze deal on the air effect 2 packs at a new system store and it worked perfectly.
It is really strange that your app showed both of the Febreze coupons coming off and that it didn’t work at the register. Crazy things happen sometimes I totally get how frustrating that is.

Both coupons worked for me on the new Febreze package for the small spaces.

The scents you picked up look like different upc since they are both gain yet the colors of the liquid are not the same. Did you scan both barcodes in store with both coupons attaching to them?
One of them could have been an older upc one that wasn’t attaching.
I did this deal on Sunday with the sprays and it worked.

Its happened to me with 2 coupons for 1 product not coming off like this one when I have it clipped. It was going to be a very cheap deal like this one and I ended up just paying but going back in to return it after getting in my car and not liking that it should have attached especially when I had done the deal already at a different location for my parents account.
It was at a new system location. I sometimes feel thats also a factor in it. I either get happy cashiers that actually clap or amazed after they hit total, and some that question it confused or give me an ugly look…and those in the latter are always new system locations🤷🏽♀️
