- This one is another Martin brawler….. Check out the video and take me down a few notches. I like this one a lot. Indian Rosewood back and sides, Sitka top, mahogany neck with ebony headplate, fingerboard and bridge. Reclaimed curly maple binding on the body & neck. Some classy abalone inlay and post-modern concepts hidden beneath a vintage appearance bringing snappy response, tonal clarity and angry punch. Gentle but noteworthy harmonic overtones running all the way up the neck. Wide dynamic range like the Mar-a-Logo golf course and sustain that rings as long as a school bus. Thanks for watching!

There’s another guitar I’m going to post soon that was a collaboration between my son Nick and I. Looking forward to showing you!

Merry Christmas to you too! Thanks!
Nice punchy guitar...not boomy. Very very nice!
@@darrellsandmoen8523 thanks Darrell!
Beautiful work. How did you do the headstock inlay?
Rich
Abalone inlayed into ebony with Dremel tool/router, jewelers saw and epoxy with black dye……
Wow man. New subby.
Nice bluegrass tone.. what strings and gauge used? Flat pick? Thickness?
Thanks! D’addario EJ19, .012”-.056”
Home made pick of some sort of natural material, from an antique hairbrush….. about .060” thick. I like Bluechip TAD 60 & 50’s……
Need a better mic to really show it off.
@@douglasjones3799 I’ll need to figure out a better method….you’re right. I actually have some good mics, will need interface…….
Obviously nice but not in the price range for the normal among us.
Not including the fingerboard and headplate inlay, prices start under $3k USD for a dreadnought……not bad for a small scale high end dreadnought, I think. Thanks for watching!!
