Excellent analysis and review of the game. Thought we gave a good account of ourselves first half. Against a team and fans who expected to win and to be much better than us. So that’s positive. But we have to create more chances and take them when they do come, especially when we are on top in the game. It was a penalty despite the theatrical dive, and that was the decider. Tuesday and Sunday become really important but also tough. We’ll need a great home atmosphere.
Fair analysis. Thought Ipswich just shaded the first half but Forest upped the tempo from the start of the second half and deserved the narrow win. Good luck to your lot, it's difficult to stay up first season back.
Speaking as a Forest fan, I thought the Ipswich tactic of taking an age over every restart in the first half was counter productive. It disrupted your momentum as much as ours. Also, having received the ball back from a Forest throw in because of an "injury" to a town player, to see Muric stand by the ball until a Forest player ran from the half way to make him pick it up was a bit petty. Credit to the Ipswich town fans though who travelled in numbers and were quite loud while the score was 0-0.
Absolute cheats. The “time out” at 30 minutes was a blatant attempt to take a break and regroup. All after an Ipswich player went down after a tackle but stopped the game by holding his head. Worst timewasting and gamesmanship of the season.
Forest were very comfortable in the second half and showed with there more dominant players... Hopefully Ipswich can keep Delap fit... Cause he will be needed for Ipswich to hv any chance of staying up.

This was a banana skin and we got through it so gotta give Forest credit good luck on staying up

Thought our Muric and CB’s were best performers today.
Never a penalty but we looked so poor today.
He literally stood on his foot! Definite penalty.
No ifs or buts about the penalty, get some ball knowledge
No decision a referee gives against Ipswich is ever correct!😂
