Trying to understand your formula...So you are only adding 10% tax to your 24 months(or lease term) but the tax in real is applied to the MSRP. And towards the end you are only considering MSRP, not MSRP +TTL?
There is a discount of $7500 plus additional $1500 on select AWD models by the dealer currently going on if you want to finance it. I got a discount of $9000 off MSRP on Wind AWD which I financed it . Lease is a good option if you dont want to own the vehicle for a long time but so many people dont realize by leasing you are just throwing away money out of the window. If eventually you are looking to buy a new vehicle then my advice is don't go for the lease. Lease only makes sense if you want to buy a used vehicle down the road which according to me is stupidity to the max
@@jigs8437 Not sure that a 3 year old Kia EV is going to be worth much. Old charger style and old battery tech. Lease a Land for $550 a month, put the $250 per month in the bank for two years and wait for the EV infrastructure and tech to catch up. Good leases have an effective APR of under 1% with the right money factor and the residuals make it a no-brainer. Buying one of these at close to 7% interest is a suckers bet. Lease for two years and if you still want it the buy out is 61% of MSRP. You just financed your depreciation at 1% vs. 7%. Wish knew more people understood how money works.
Hi Ravi! Great video! I'm going to test drive an EV-9 this weekend. If I love it as much as I think I will, can you negotiate a deal for me in Long Island, NY? Leaning toward leasing, unless it makes more sense to finance. Thank you!
I leased tom get the discount and paid cash within a month, we have Tesla as well we save a lot in gas, depreciation? we buy, used and enjoy the ride, we don't buy to sell.
Sick of all these expensive EV's being crammed down the throat of Americans when Australia and Europe get to choose from high quality Chinese brands that offer far better value!!
I’m picking up my lyric tech with driver assist package tomorrow for $299 a month 24/12 and 3k down including all fees and first month my deal is far better 🤫🤫
@@ninakartik2016in nj and there was tons of negotiations involved calling multiple Caddilac dealerships and getting them to all beat each others offers eventually got to this but keep in mind we have Costco which gave us 1,000 off and 3,000 off for conquest with our Acura so the 299 was including the 4k with incentives 😊
Exactly. I’m banking on the fact that this card depreciates heavily so I can renegotiate my bio amount at the end. Also, Kia will be manufacturing these in the US soon and so the for sale models will also get a rebate, which will effectively subtract $7500 off the price of the car overnight
Thanks for the video. Will you have a pre negotiated deal for this Kia EV9 on drivematch? I couldn’t find Kia as an option.

Cool, thank you!
No way I’d own an EV right now with battery tech evolving…..but I’d gladly lease one! I was quoted $803 all in for the $75K EV9 GT-Line in SC. I’m in!
If you don’t mind me asking was tot credit score above 700 ? They wanted to charge me 1200 in miami same price range as you

Does KIA have this EV9 lease offer for August 2024?
Would be interesting to see how long you would have to own the car for it to even out with the lease.
Just leased one yesterday
Awesome - How do you like it?
What’s was your exact payment??
Love it. $587/mo fully loaded zero down (besides first payment)

to my knowledge Kia is offering $7500 cash incentive for buying option. If I do the math on it the ratio comes 1.13%, Still lease a better option?
it has a nice price tag of 91k euro in my country.

Hey, Did you end up leasing the EV9?
Also, you get 2 years free charging.
2025 Rivian 1S vs 2024 Kia EV9 GT line lease?
Kia probably wins. South Korea's weak currency, Won, give Kia a lot of wiggle room for incentives.

Lyric doesn't have a third row so it isn't comparable
Where did you get that lyriq deal from?

Easy keyboard warrior - the rapid depreciation is exactly why leasing is a good idea

that's why you lease.
Stuck with a lease and an EV? Hell no. America is about ownership.
