is a short story about how greediness can change a person's thoughts and feelings towards loved ones. The idea of winning the lottery changes the married couple Ivan and Masha's attitudes and thoughts in a wrong way. There is no clear setting in this story but we can understand by Ivan's thoughts of travelling countries and he wants a property of his own that they live a poor life and their house is impoverished too.
A woman wins the lottery, rushes home, tells her husband about the win and tells him she's going on a trip and for him to start packing. He says, "Great, should I pack for the beach or the mountains?" "I don't care, just be out of here when I get back next week!"
75 grand is power.i invested my 75 grand pension money on an old property, got returns of 110,grand. That was 12 months ago plus we had 6 grand rental money to,So it is power (not a lot but still😊👍) i have given it to my kids as an investment for the future .good luck everyone if you do the lotto..👌🤞

It sounds like someone reading, though. The best way to read a story is to make it sound like you aren't reading, I think. After all, actors like Al Pacino and Gary Oldman are just reading a script in their movies. Ask yourself why it doesn't sound that way. Now compare how you read to how they do. That's the way to improve.

@@systemicfakeism Yeah, sure go give this person a bad reputation just because he/she has no interest in the crap school shoved down his/her throat. 79% of people in school are just there because it makes them look good when applying for a job, due to the fact that we learn nothing worth learning apart from the basics. You should really be easier on your students.

Woooh love your take. I need to leave politics. I am finding storytelling a part of my mind like a child.

Incredible my life in a story.
This story gets me pumped up!
Is it supposed to end there? 💖
Seemed to end abruptly as if there was more to the story did it not….?

Chekhov wrote with too many annoying adjectives. No wonder Hemingway saw a niche by avoiding that weakness and wordiness.

If this guy doesn't like to speak out loud why did he do a narration however short? I had to switch it of. Cannot listen to this doleful voice.
This voice is far too wimpy.
They're always taking volunteers. You should show them how it is done. Or perhaps its just easier to complain about others.
