Being self employed is so hard, did it for 15 years, and hats off to anyone that gives it a go people who've never tried it don't realise how tough it is mentally, It's good to see you being positive mate. 👍Good luck with everything you do next mate.
Jim, You inspire me to be more within my local archery community. I’m excited to see how your future pans out, the last few months has been a hell of a ride for you. One thing before I go. I know you are able to achieve big things. I know positive things are coming your way. I know this year is your year. Now go out and get your share, you’ve earned it. Your mate from Australia. Dean
Never yet even picked up a bow, but you're one of the reasons I want to, I'm glad you got through this, we've been through very similar on the lead up to Christmas with our modest business collapsing too.. you're right, 23 is going to be much better! Thanks for your content, look forward to future vids.
Good to see you doing well, hope you and family all the best. Life can get hard especially the last 3 years but there's always the bad with the good in life. Don't give up.
G'day Jim. Got into archery at the start of the Covid Epidemic. Bought a couple books and checked out You Tube videos. Found your videos. Learned a ton of stuff from You. Started with a 35# Samick then a 45# Bear Kodiak Magnum and then a 50# Bear Grizzly. Will be ordering some new strings later this month for sure. Worked my own gig for 15 years. Hang in there. Take care.
Good to hear that things are getting back on track. This type of content when you sit on your workshop to talk to the community works great too, and this conversations helps a lot other people. An amazing 2023 to you and yours, Jim.
Great news and best of luck for the future. Your content has been a massive part of my field archery adventure, and cost me quite a bit in bows and kit as it happens...😄
Yes no worries. Ha ha yup Year past was crap. Happy New Year. Year of the Rabbit. Just keep moving. Take care of yourself. Was trying to save up for a Striker takedown longbow. Take care.
Go for it Jim…. Just to let you know RUclips unsubscribed me and I’m sure a few others so I missed this video when it came out. Best wishes and all the best for 2023
That's a lot of worry to go thro but sounds like you have a plan. Hope everything works out for you. Been watching your channel for a few years and you opened my eyes to traditional styles and equipment. Ramble away I will still watch as will many of your other followers
This is fantastic news. I hope grizzly strings florishes and you can keep living the dream of creating the best strings around and if there is any thing i can do to help as a fellow string maker i would be happy to help
Hey Jim, always happy to hear from you. I am really glad that your are in a better situation now. Keep up, you have so much to offer! All the best to you and your family!
Maybe branch out into more archery equipment; shooting tabs & gloves, arm guards and quivers. Like you said bow strings are quite a niche market. Followed you for a long time and always will, chin up. 2023 is gonna be your year 👍
Great to hear you're ok Jim. I heard you mention doing seminars? How about doing one at ETAR? I missed you when you came over in '18, would be awesome to meet and shoot with you.
Huh. I was on the fence of ordering a string from you or from a small business here in the states… this decides it. I wouldn’t be the archer I am today if I hadn’t found this channel almost a decade ago. I’ll put my order in soon.
It’s hard being self-employed. The Banks were bailed out with tax payers money and they continue to shaft everybody. Keep positive Jim and good luck for the future. P.S. I took up archery a couple of months ago (I’m just retired) and bare-bow / field archery has me hooked ☺️
Without trying to get into your private affairs, I am wondering if your bank did that because you are in the archery business. I know a lot of banks, paypal don't like to let you use them for some sporting things like hunting, shooting, etc. Here in the USA, everything is so damed politically correct. I make B55 strings for many customers too. I don't want my bank to screw me over too. I am curious if that is the heart of the matter.

Good luck in what ever venture you pursue Jim, not easy opening up to public scrutiny, dare say every follower is behind you chief, here’s to 2023 🏹
God knows how many times I've watched your chili challenge on Kev Smith's channel. Just loved the comradery of friends shooting bows together.

the way to give back is to post a lot more videos for us to learn from and enjoy...get back to it
